"Dalam Analisis Percakapan (Conversation Analysis), sebuah pola percakapan yang terbentuk antara stimulus dan respons disebut sebagai pasangan berdampingan (adjacency pair). Sebuah stimulus dapat berupa sapaan, pertanyaan, permintaan, dan lain-lain. Pada penelitian ini, jenis stimulus yang akan dijadikan sebagai fokus penelitian adalah persuasi. Peneliti ingin mengetahui karakteristik pasangan berdampingan dalam sebuah wacana persuasif, khususnya dalam bahasa Jepang. Dengan demikian, sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah film berbahasa Jepang. Dari sumber tersebut, data yang terjaring adalah 12 tuturan persuasif dan responsnya. Dalam analisis, penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan teori pasangan berdampingan (adjacency pair) oleh Schegloff dan Sacks (1973). Berdasarkan teori tersebut, data berupa tuturan persuasif dan responsnya dianalisis secara deskriptif dan disajikan dalam tabulasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebuah pasangan berdampingan dapat diklasifikasikan berdasarkan ada atau tidaknya rangkaian sisipan (insertion sequence) di antara stimulus dan responsnya. Klasifikasi tersebut terdiri atas pasangan berdampingan berdekatan dan pasangan berdampingan berjauhan.

In Conversation Analysis (CA), adjacency pair is known to be a speech pattern consist of a stimulus and it’s response. Types of stimulus that can be found in an adjacency pair are greetings, questions, requests, etc. In this study, the type of stimulus that will become the focus of discussion are persuassions. From this study, the author wishes to find the characteristics of an adjacency pair in persuassive discourses, specifically in Japanese. Thus, the data are taken from persuassive conversations found in Japanese movies. The data consist of 12 persuasive speeches and it’s response. Based on Schegloff and Sack’s theory of adjacency pair, the author analyze pairs of persuassive speech and it’s reponse using a descriptive method and present them in the form of a table. The analysis show that an adjacency pair can be classified based on wether an insertion sequence are present or not in between a stimulus and it’s response. The classifications consist of close adjacency pair and distant adjacency pair."

"eberadaan fanfiksi pada era modern ini tersebar ke berbagai platform. Salah satu bentuk fanfiksi adalah fanfiksi semesta alternatif atau alternate universe (AU) yang populer di media sosial Twitter. Semesta alternatif adalah sebuah genre fiksi dengan latar tempat dan latar waktu yang berbeda dengan realitas asli dari semesta alternatif tersebut. Fanfiksi ini menciptakan fenomena baru dengan kemunculan istilah “Cowok AU” dalam lingkup komunitas penggemar di Twitter. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan karakteristik tokoh utama laki-laki pada fanfiksi yang diambil sebagai data kajian, serta merumuskan tipe karakter yang ada pada fanfiksi tersebut sebagai data terkait. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif-analitis melalui studi pustaka dan pengumpulan pendapat karakteristik “Cowok AU” menurut pembaca melalui kuesioner. Analisis penokohan ini didasarkan pada pengertian oleh Sudjiman (1988), yaitu tokoh ialah individu rekaan yang mengalami peristiwa atau tindakan dalam berbagai kejadian dalam cerita. Melalui pemaparan analisis penelitian ini, penokohan dalam fanfiksi terkait menghasilkan beberapa karakteristik yang dapat disebut sebagai “Cowok AU”.

Fanfiction can be found in many platform in this era of modernism. Alternate universe fanfiction is one of the type of fanfiction that popular in social media Twitter. Alternate universe or semesta alternatif is one of a fiction genre which the time frame and the setting is different from its original setting of its alternate universe. This fanfiction create a new term “Cowok AU” within the fan community in Twitter. Thus, this research aim to analyze the characteristics of the characters, and also to formulize the type of the characters in the fanfiction as the related data. The method of this research is descriptive-analytical through a literature study and collecting the reader’s idea of “Cowok AU” characters through questionnaire. This research analysis based on Sudjiman (1988), that characters of a story is a created figure that experienced incident or action within the event in the story. Through the analysis, the characters in the related fanfiction has generated a few characteristics that could be called “Cowok AU”."
