"Pola mobilitas penduduk Jabodetabek mengalami perubahan seiring dengan semakin tersedianya berbagai moda transportasi. Mobilitas komuter, khususnya, telah mengalami pertumbuhan yang signifikan, dengan persentasepekerja yang tinggi secara rutin melakukan perjalanan antara daerah tempat tinggal dan tempat kerja mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara variabel independen (aksesibilitas dan pandangan tentang sistem transportasi publik) terhadap variabel dependen (tingkat mobilitas komuter). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 194 responden melalui teknik purposive sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi logistik biner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dan positif antara aksesibilitas dan pandangan tentang sistem transportasi publik dengan mobilitas komuter. Serta tingkat pendapatan memiliki hubungan negatif terhadap mobilitas komuter. Berdasarkan uji sobel, tingkat pendapatan tidak berpengaruh signifikan dalam memediasi hubungan pengaruh baik antara aksesibilitas maupun pandangan terhadap tingkat mobilitas komuter. Disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas pekerja komuter memiliki tingkat aksesibilitas yang tinggi terhadap transportasi umum dan memiliki persepsi positif terhadap sistem transportasi publik. Meskipun terdapat kekhawatiran mengenai kenyamanan, responden merasa transportasi umum merupakan akses yang baik untuk menunjang mobilitas mereka. Oleh karena itu, penyedia transportasi harus fokus pada peningkatan kenyamanan dan keandalan untuk mendorong penggunaan transportasi umum secara sukarela. 

The mobility patterns of Jabodetabek residents are changing as various modes of transportation become available. Commuter mobility, in particular, has experienced significant growth, with a high percentage of workers routinely traveling between their area of residence and their place of work. This study aims to explain the relationship between the independent variables (accessibility and views on the public transportation system) and the dependent variable (level of commuter mobility). This research uses quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires to 194 respondents through purposive sampling technique. The analysis method used is binary logistic regression. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant and positive influence between accessibility and views on public transportation systems with commuter mobility. And income level has a negative relationship with commuter mobility. Based on the sobel test, income level does not have a significant effect in mediating the relationship between both accessibility and views on the level of commuter mobility. It is concluded that the majority of commuting workers have a high level of accessibility to public transportation and have a positive perception of the public transportation system. Despite concerns about convenience, respondents felt that public transportation is a good access point to support their mobility. Therefore, transportation providers should focus on improving convenience and reliability to encourage voluntary use of public transportation"

"This paper discusses mobility pricing concepts from viewpoint of ecological targets and sustainable development. The current Finnish mobility pricing system is used as a starting point, and then proceeding along the lines of discussion towards its strengths and weaknesses with regard to environmental policy agenda. Since the Finnish practice has a long tradition of internalizing the external costs of ecological and environmental costs, it serves as a good spring
board towards eco-pricing. Ifeco-pricing would be adopted, there would be necessary litical and social one: how much are we
willing to pay for ecological mobility? The technological issues are considered in the end, as eco-pricing will require the employment of different technologies. However, the technological challenges are probably easier to tackle than the political, social and institutional ones. Finally, some aspects of advanced vs. developing economies are discussed. "

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola mobilitas ulang-alik pekerja dan pengaruh struktur spasial perkotaan di wilayah Jabodetabek. Menggunakan data hasil survei perjalanan harian, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara jarak, durasi perjalanan, moda transportasi yang digunakan, dan distribusi pendapatan pekerja terhadap rute perjalanan dari dan ke wilayah suburban serta pusat kota. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pekerja melakukan perjalanan jarak jauh dari wilayah pinggiran seperti Bekasi, Depok, dan Bogor menuju pusat kota Jakarta dengan moda transportasi pribadi, khususnya sepeda motor.Durasi perjalanan rata-rata mencapai 30-60 menit, menunjukkan tingginya tingkat kemacetan dan jarak tempuh yang jauh. Struktur spasial perkotaan Jabodetabek yang polisentris berkontribusi terhadap penyebaran permukiman di wilayah suburban, sementara Jakarta tetap menjadi pusat utama aktivitas ekonomi. Ketergantungan yang tinggi terhadap kendaraan pribadi juga memperparah kondisi lalu lintas dan meningkatkan durasi perjalanan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan integrasi moda transportasi umum yang lebih baik serta perencanaan infrastruktur transportasi yang lebih efektif untuk mendukung mobilitas pekerja di Jabodetabek secara lebih efisien.

This study aims to analyze the commuting patterns of workers and the impact of urban spatial structure in the Jabodetabek area. Using data from daily travel surveys, the research explores the relationship between distance, travel duration, modes of transport used, and income distribution of workers concerning travel routes to and from suburban areas and the city center. The results show that most workers undertake long-distance commutes from suburban areas such as Bekasi, Depok, and Bogor to central Jakarta, using private transportation, particularly motorcycles.The average travel duration ranges from 30 to 60 minutes, reflecting high traffic congestion and long distances. The polycentric urban spatial structure of Jabodetabek contributes to the spread of residential areas in suburban regions, while Jakarta remains the primary hub of economic activity. The heavy reliance on private vehicles exacerbates traffic conditions and increases travel time. Therefore, better integration of public transportation modes and more effective transportation infrastructure planning are needed to support workers' mobility in Jabodetabek more efficiently."
