"Skripsi ini menelaah kritis ilmu ekonomi arus utama yang memiliki kecenderungan androsentris. Hal tersebut tampak dari penekanan yang berlebihan pada maskulinitas gaya berekonomi neoklasik. Kualitas maskulin yang hard, rigoris dan formal menjadi parameter objektivitas dan kemapanan ilmu ekonomi sebagai teori sosial. Namun dibangun di atas metafora yang bias atas putusan nilai manusia terhadap kualitas feminin. Hal ini berimplikasi pada kekaburan taksonomi dan devaluasi nilai-nilai kemanusiaan yang justru menjauhkan ilmu ekonomi dari kenyataan ekonomi. Maka dari itu pengayaan metafora melalui perspektif ilmu ekonomi beraliran feminis adalah hal yang urgen untuk dihadirkan bagi ilmu ekonomi yang lebih mumpuni dan kaya dalam memahami fenomena ekonomi.

This thesis critically examines mainstream economics which has an androcentric tendency. This can be seen from the excessive emphasis on the masculinity of the neoclassical economic model. Masculine qualities that are hard, rigid and formal are the parameters of objectivity and the establishment of economics as a social theory. However, it is built on a biased metaphor of human value judgment on feminine qualities. This has implications for taxonomic obscurity and the devaluation of human values ​​which in fact detachment economics from economic reality. Therefore, the enrichment of metaphor through the perspective of feminist economics is an urgent matter to be presented for economics that is more capable and rich in understanding economic phenomena."
