Coal is one of the largest sources of energy in the world with increasing demand. Increasing demand must be accompanied with better exploration method by maximizing the modeling activities and resource estimation with the appropriate geostatistical method. The study was conducted in the area of PT. Lamindo Inter Multikon, Bunyu Island, North Kalimantan, which is one of the large coal-producing regions but has not yet implemented more in-depth modeling and estimation activities. The research area has an area of 3.357 ha with 15 bore holes which is the basis of research by applying three types of geostatistical methods, including inverse distance weighting (IDW), ordinary Kriging (OK), radial basis function (RBF), and where each of the methods has the results of 3D modeling and estimation of its own resources. 3D modeling carried out shows that the study area has a fault that cuts across the entire study area that extends south-north. Estimated coal resources in the study area using IDW method has a total of 122.793.314 tons, the OK method is 116.667.925 tons, and the RBF is 102.918.845 tons. The RBF method is the best geostatistical method that can be applied in the study area because it has the best accuracy according to the results of the validation of the geostatistical method."

"This applied, self-contained text provides detailed coverage of the practical aspects of multivariate statistical process control (MVSPC)based on the application of Hotelling's T2 statistic. MVSPC is the application of multivariate statistical techniques to improve the quality and productivity of an industrial process. The authors, leading researchers in this area who have developed major software for this type of charting procedure, provide valuable insight into the T2 statistic. Intentionally including only a minimal amount of theory, they lead readers through the construction and monitoring phases of the T2 control statistic using numerous industrial examples taken primarily from the chemical and power industries. These examples are applied to the construction of historical data sets to serve as a point of reference for the control procedure and are also applied to the monitoring phase, where emphasis is placed on signal location and interpretation in terms of the process variables."

"Presents fundamental principles including set notation and the estimation of the mean and variance. Focusing on traditional statistics applications, this book explores the use of probability distributions, Monte Carlo methods, fault and event trees, and examines how they relate to reliability and failure theory."
