"As an independent and sovereign nation and to increase the volume of international investment and trade, it is natural to have a set of regulations by its own, elucidating the issues of international civil law. Many expatriates and foreign legal entities in Indonesia have caused legal relations whether in the field of family law as well as trade law between foreigners and citizens of Indonesia. However up until now the draft of the Law on International Civil Law that is well finished for so ling still the House of Representatives. The draft itself actually has very important roles in the modification of law, preserving legal certainty and providing the judges in Indonesia to decide on international civil cases.
