"Asymptotic methods are frequently used in many branches of both pure and applied mathematics, and this classic text remains the most up-to-date book dealing with one important aspect of this area, namely, asymptotic approximations of integrals. In Asymptotic Approximations of Integrals, all results are proved rigorously, and many of the approximation formulas are accompanied by error bounds. A thorough discussion on multidimensional integrals is given, and references are provided. Asymptotic Approximations of Integrals contains the "distributional method," which is not available elsewhere. Most of the examples in this text come from concrete applications.
Since its publication twelve years ago, significant developments have occurred in the general theory of asymptotic expansions, including smoothing of the Stokes phenomenon, uniform exponentially improved asymptotic expansions, and hyperasymptotics. These new concepts belong to the area now known as "exponential asymptotics." Expositions of these new theories are available in papers published in various journals, but not yet in book form."

ABSTRAKEmisi gas rumah kaca (GRK) merupakan isu lingkungan yang belum bisa diselesaikan dan terus mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun. Fenomena tersebut juga terjadi di Indonesia, sebagai negara berkembang yang berfokus pada pembangunan berkelanjutan. Setiap tahunnya, penyumbang terbesar untuk emisi GRK adalah emisi gas karbon dioksida. Pada tahun 2020, emisi gas karbon dioksida di Indonesia diprediksi mencapai angka 960 juta ton apabila tidak ada tindakan pencegahan (mitigasi). Salah satu mitigasi yang dapat dilakukan adalah penggunaan teknologi carbon capture and storage seperti di negara maju. Namun, penelitian dan informasi akan penerapan teknologi CCS di Indonesia masih minim. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis berusaha mengembangkan metode technology assessment (penilaian teknologi) dengan hasil keluaran berupa kriteria apa saja yang diperlukan apabila teknologi CCS diterapkan. Subkriteria tingkat penangkapan emisi gas karbon dioksida dan biaya investasi alat carbon capture memiliki bobot tertinggi untuk kriteria lingkungan dan ekonomi. Hasil keluaran yang diperoleh dan metode yang disusun diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan kerangka kerja bagi penerapan teknologi CCS, khususnya di Indonesia.
ABSTRACTGreen house gases (GHG) emission is one of the environmental issues that hasn?t been resolved and continued to increase annually. Carbon dioxide gas is known as the largest contributor for GHG emissions. This environmental issue also happens in Indonesia as a developing country which has focused on sustainable development. In 2020, the total emission of carbon dioxide gas in Indonesia is predicted around 960 million ton if there is no mitigation action. In developed countries, they have a bold step to mitigate their emission of CO2 gas by using Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technology. This technology is effective to reduce the CO2 emission in large-scale. The study and informations about CCS, as a new technology to reduce emission, haven?t well developed in Indonesia. Based on the situation, the author tries to do a research of CCS technology implementation in Indonesia using technology assessment method. The output of this research are giving understanding how CCS could be used by seeing what the criterias needed are, particularly in Indonesia. The rate of carbon capture of CO2 emission and the cost of investment for carbon capture technology are the main subcriterias for each criteria of environment and economic if the carbon capture technology implemented in Indonesia."

"Ketika seorang karyawan telah mencapai usia pensiun normal, maka karyawan tersebut tidak lagi bekerja sehingga mereka tidak dibayar. Dengan mengikuti program asuransi dana pensiun, karyawan akan mendapatkan dua jenis manfaat, yaitu manfaat normal dan keuntungan tambahan. Besarnya manfaat yang akan diperoleh peserta dana asuransi Pensiun dapat dihitung dengan menggunakan perhitungan aktuaria untuk program asuransi dana pensiun manfaat pasti. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dibahas tentang perhitungan aktuaria dengan sistem proyeksi, yaitu metode usia masuk normal. Pertama-tama, itu ditentukan pertama manfaat yang akan diterima oleh peserta asuransi, selanjutnya akan ditentukan premi. Setelah manfaat dan premi dihitung, maka kewajiban selanjutnya akan dihitung aktuaris. Data untuk ilustrasi tugas akhir ini menggunakan gaji PNS sipil.
When an employee has reached the normal retirement age, the employee is no longer working so they are not paid. By joining the pension fund insurance program, employees will get two types of benefits, namely normal benefits and additional benefits. The amount of benefits to be received by Pension insurance fund participants can be calculated using actuarial calculations for the defined benefit pension fund insurance program. In this final project will discuss about actuarial calculations with a projection system, namely the normal entry age method. First of all, it is determined first the benefits that will be received by the insurance participant, then the premium will be determined. After the benefits and premiums are calculated, the next obligation will be calculated by the actuary. The data for this final project illustration uses civil servant salaries."
