"ABSTRAKStudi yang menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis normatif ini membahas mengenai Pekerja Rumah Tangga PRT dalam Hukum Ketenagakerjaan, khususnya Perlindungan. Mengenai tenaga kerja yang berlaku dalam hukum ketenagakerjaan adapun hubungan mengenai pekerja rumah tangga khususnya tentang perlindungan PRT yang tinggal dirumah majikan dan PRT yang tidak tinggal di rumah majikan. Pada umumnya orang yang memakai jasa PRT tidak memberikan kesejahteraan, sedangkan hukum ketenagakerjaan memberikan kesejahteraan kepada para pekerja formal dan informal. Setiap pekerja mempunyai hak dan kewajiban yang harus dilaksanakan dan majikan pun harus menghormati hak kewajiban dari PRT tersebut. Dengan demikian yang harus diperhatikan dari perlindungan PRT dengan menggunaka jasa PRT sesuai dengan hukum ketenagakerjaan. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa perlindungan PRT di Indonesia kurang mencakup semua PRT yang bekerja di posisi manapun yang bersifat kekeluargaan sampai bersifat atasan, bawahan dimana melakukan perlindungan harus melibatkan peran dari Rukun Tentangga RT sebagai aparat setempat.

ABSTRACTThis study uses a normative juridical research methods that deals with domestic workers in Labor Law, especially in protection. In regards to labor force that 39 s applicable in the labor law, as well as the relationship on domestic workers, Which focuses especially on the the protection of domestic workers living in the homes of employers and those who do not. In general, people who uses the services of domestic workers do not pride welfare to them, whilst in contrast, the labor law provides welfare to formal and informal workers. Every worker has the rights and obligations to do and the employer must respect the right of duty of each domestic workers. Thus, the protection of domestic workers should be considered with their services in accordance with the labor low. The results of this study indicate that the protection of domestic workers in Indonesia does not cover all domestic workers who are working in any position that is familial to superiors, subordinates where the protection must involve the role of Rukun Aboutga RT as the local officials."
