"This article aims at discussing 2 main problems: 1) in how far harm done by corporate crime in Indonesia; and 2) how is the criminal policy passed in overcoming corporate crime in Indonesia? The result of this discussion points: First, corporate crime is a kind of crime that makes society restless and that is risks the interests of State. The harm done is in the form of material an immaterial things for citizens, State and other corporations. Second, corporate crime should be included in the Code of Criminal Laws as a criminal act by the offender. In line with this, the subject of offence in the Code of Criminal Laws should be widened to include corporations with a threat of either grave punishment by prison or fine punishment, or both of them. However, said penal efforts should be integrated with the overcoming of non penal ones."

"ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas tentang tingkat keseriusan kejahatan antar penghuniCluster Gracia Residence Bintaro dan warga Kelurahan Johar Baru, Jakarta Pusat,dengan membandingkan tingkat ekonomi, tingkat religiusitas, tingkat keterpaparan media, usia, dan jenis kelamin. Skripsi ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan mengeluarkan angket ke 50 responden dari warga Klaster Gracia Residence Bintaro, Selatan Tangerang (mewakili Zona IV) dan 50 responden dari warga JoharDesa Baru, Jakarta Pusat (mewakili Zona II). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkanperbedaan persepsi antara penduduk Zona II dan penduduk Zona IV. Sebagai tambahan, tingkat ekonomi, tingkat religiusitas, tingkat publikasi media, dan juga usia mempengaruhi tingkat keseriusan kejahatan. Berdasarkan uji chi square, tabulasi silang Uji, uji korelasi, uji jalur, dan uji perbandingan, ditemukan bahwa semakin tinggi ekonominya Level religiusitas, eksposur media, atau level usia, juga level yang lebih tinggi keseriusan kejahatan.

ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses the level of seriousness of crime among residentsCluster Gracia Residence Bintaro and residents of Johar Baru Village, Central Jakarta,by comparing the level of economy, level of religiosity, level of media exposure, age, and gender. This thesis uses a quantitative method by issuing a 50th questionnairerespondents from residents of Klaster Gracia Residence Bintaro, SouthTangerang (representing Zone IV) and 50 respondents from Johar residentsDesa Baru, Central Jakarta (representing Zone II). The results of this study indicatedifferences in perceptions between residents of Zone II and residents of Zone IV. In addition to, economic level, level of religiosity, level of media publication, and also age affect the seriousness of the crime. Based on the chi square test, cross tabulation Test, correlation test, path test, and comparison test, it was found that the higher the economy The level of religiosity, media exposure, or age level, is also a higher level the seriousness of the crime."
