"Rumah merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok manusia karena ia mengakomodasi berbagai macam aktivitas manusia sehari hari Salah satu cara pemenuhan kebutuhan rumah adalah pembangunan perumahan formal Pembangunan perumahan formal juga ditujukan untuk membentuk masyarakat dan lingkungan yang berkualitas Rumah pada perumahan formal biasanya dibuat identik satu sama lain sementara aktivitas manusia biasanya berbeda satu sama lain Rumah pada perumahan formal merupakan sebuah ruang yang asing bagi penghuni karena belum diketahui kesesuaiannya dengan aktivitas penghuni Saat manusia menggunakan ruang tersebut ada dua hal yang mungkin terjadi yaitu adaptation ndash manusia mengubah aktivitasnya agar sesuai dengan lingkungan ndash dan adjustment ndash manusia mengubah lingkungan agar sesuai dengan aktivitasnya Tulisan ini membahas proses adaptation dan adjustment yang terjadi pada perumahan Greenland Depok Jakawa Barat Saya melakukan pengamatan dan pemetaan kegiatan di dalam rumah serta wawancara terstruktur dengan 5 lima pemilik tipe rumah yang berbeda Dengan menerapkan metode penelitian kualitatif saya mengidentifikasi kedua kegiatan tersebut terjadi sebagai konsekuensi perbedaan antara prediksi yang dilakukan oleh pengembang dengan jenis kegiatan dan kualitas ruang yang dibutuhkan oleh penghuni

The house is one of the essential needs of human beings due to its capability to accommodate various everyday human activities One of the methods to meet the human needs of having a house is the construction of formal housing It is also created in order to form a high quality environment and society Houses in a formal housing usually are built identical with each other however human daily activities are different in one person to another These houses will become a new environment for the inhabitants During the process of entering a new unknown environment humans tend to make adaptations and adjustments The former is human altering their activities in order to match the environment the latter is where they change their environment to their needs This writing tries to explain the process of adaptation and adjustment according to the case studied in Greenland Housing Depok West Java It is based on activities researching mapping and interviewing with 5 different families By doing qualitative researching method I indicated that both of those activities adaptation and adjustment are happened as a dissimilarity in accommodating activities between developer prediction and the inhabitants needs in their house."

": Street space, as a form of public space, accommodates various activities. Jenderal Sudirman Street in Salatiga is an example of a main street downgraded to a lesser classification because it has to accommodate accumulating function and activities. This condition has a direct bearing on the development of the physical Setting of formal activities on the street space. Informal act ivities emerge as a response of space user to the existence of establish formal activity Setting. Predominant commercial function, especially traditional markets, give rise to informal activities in the form of street vendors and its internodes. Limited high-value street space causes conflict among its users. The aim of this research is to formulate types of relationship among formal and informal activity in the street space than describe element which interconnected based on type of relationship . This can be achieved by identifying factors influencing the relationship between behavior of informal activities and formal physical Setting. The method applied by this research is behavioral mapping. This method applies a mapping technique called Placed Centered Map to identify the pattern of various activities happening at an activity node and another mapping technique, Person Centered Map, which identifies the pattern of a street user character dynamically along the street space which function as public space. This method can be used to describe specific human needs at the physical Setting depending on local behavior. Relationship between growing informal an formal activities developing in the same street space will be interconnected an mutually influencing, especially in character, intensity an the physical Setting of street vendors as informal activity. This research has found different types of relationship, interconnected elements and relational pattern between formal and informal activities at Jenderal Sudirman Street, Salatiga. The research focuses on the relationship between traded commodities and the street vendors motivation. In conclusion, four types of relationship were established : same commodity relationship, complementary commodity relationship, neutral commodity relationship and no relation with no street vendors in the area. Elements which interconnected from each type of relationship are fixed element that are pedestrian ways, building character and building set front ; semi fixed elements that are display and drop off area ; and non fixed elements that are pedestrian intensity, speed of vehicle and internodes. This research also found various factors which influence the relationship that are concentric commercial area such as traditional market as main activity nodes, linier commercial area such as shop matters will be attract ed people to walk along the street, access to the building block area, operational time of formal activity, various street users, building physical character and achievable distance for pedestrian."

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat kontradiksi penerapan konsep Islami yang terjadi pada perumahan muslim. Selain itu juga untuk mencoba memaparkan aspek Islami apa saja yang diterapkan pada interioritas Perumahan Muslim Permata Darussalam. Permata Darussalam merupakan perumahan muslim yang dibangun oleh pengembang Bumi Darussalam yang berfokus pada perumahan berkonsep Islami. Kehadirannya di pemukiman Rawa Pule memunculkan anggapan sebagai perumahan eksklusif untuk penghuni muslim saja. Permasalahan tersebutlah yang menjadi poin penting dalam tulisan ini. Untuk itu, dilakukan kajian berdasarkan Al-Qur’an dan Hadits sebagai pedoman bagi konsep Islami tersebut. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengkaji teori yang berkaitan dengan pembahasan tersebut seperti arsitektur pada masyarakat Islam, perumahan eksklsuif, perumahan inklusif, dan interioritas perumahan muslim. Setelah melakukan analisis, terbukti bahwa konsep Islami Permata Darussalam hanya sebatas penerapan pada lingkungan dengan kehadiran Masjid dan juga proses jual beli secara syariah.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to see the contradiction of Islamic concept implementation which occurs in Moslem Housing community. It tried to exposure any Islamic aspects in interiority of Permata Darussalam Moslem housing community. Permata Darussalam is a Moslem housing community was built by Bumi Darussalam as a developers that focus to build Islamic concept housing. It is presence in Rawa Pule settlement when it is assumpted as exclusive housing for Moslems only. These issues become important point in this writing. For those reasons, it is necessary to assessment this writting of the Qur’an and Hadith as a guideline of Islamic concept. The method is by reviewing some theories which are related with the discussion, such as architecture in Moslem community, exclusive housing, inclusive housing, and interiority in Islamic concept housing. After analytical process, it proves that Islamic concepts at Permata Darussalam are limited at application in environment with presence of the Mosque and also sharia buying and selling process.

"Hubungan antara manusia dan hewan saling berkaitan erat dan saling mempengaruhi satu sama lain. Kehadiran hewan peliharaan di dalam rumah tinggal manusia memberikan keuntungan bagi sebagian orang. Anjing merupakan salah satu hewan peliharaan yang memiliki kemampuan emosional seperti manusia sehingga karakteristik anjing yang responsif terhadap tingkah laku manusia. Namun ketika anjing berada di dalam ruang tinggal manusia di rumah menimbulkan negosiasi diantara keduanya. Bagaimana aspek yang perlu diperhatikan ketika memelihara anjing di dalam rumah yaitu dari aspek psikologis dan spasialnya sehingga tercipta lingkungan yang sehat dan well-being untuk keduanya. Hal tersebut akan dijelaskan lebih lanjut pada skripsi ini.

The relationship between humans and animals are closely interrelated and influence each other. The presence of pets in human living space was provided many benefits for some people. Dog is one of the pet that has the ability like human emotional, so the characteristics of dogs that are responsive to human behavior. But when the dog lives in the human living space, caused negotiation between them. How aspects to consider when getting a dog in the house, from the psychological and spatial aspects so as to create a healthy environment and well being for both of them. This will be explained further in this thesis."

"Tulisan ini membahas tentang faktor yang berpengaruh pada pembentukan ruang bermain layangan. Pembentukan ruang dianalisis dari kondisi pikiran pemain ketika sedang bermain. Dalam keadaan bermain, imajinasi pemain akan bekerja penuh. Terkait dengan benda yang berada dalam bestand-nya disekitar jalan tempat permainan layangan berlangsung, ternyata pemain dapat mengeksplorasi benda yang mereka temukan dan membentuk fungsinya sebagai alat. Apapun yang bisa digunakan untuk bermain dibangkitkan dari bestand-nya dan dijadikan alat untuk bermain. Skripsi ini akan menitikberatkan peran alat dalam pembentukan ruang bermain layangan dan hubungan pemain dengan alat bermainnya. Pembahasan dilakukan berdasarkan pada pengamatan lokasi permainan layangan di jalan Haji Umaidi, berbincang dengan warga setempat mengenai permainan layangan, dan juga studi teori dan literatur.

This writing elaborates the factors that contributes to the making of playing space in kite-playing. The formation of space is analised from the players state of mind during the duration of play, in which the players imagination is working at its best. Related to the objects that lie in their surroundings,on the streets where kite-players play, they actually have the ability to explore the found objects and generate a tool out of it. Anything that are found in their surrounding has the potential to become a playing tool as soon as the player evokes the object off its "bestand". This undergraduate thesis focuses mainly on the role of tools in the production of kite-playing space and the relation of the player with the tool he is using. The elaboration of this undergraduate thesis is based on site observation on the game of kite in jalan Haji Umaidi, interviews and discussion with locals about the game, and also theory and text studies."

"Fenomena perpindahan rumah yang dialami oleh individu cukup menarik untuk dibahas. Dari fenomena tersebut, kita dapat mengetahui apa itu housing career dan bagaimana pola perpindahan rumah / mobilitas perumahan (residential mobility) yang dialami oleh individu. Dengan melengkapi pemahaman melalui studi kasus yang terdiri dari empat individu yang telah berusia lebih dari lima puluh tahun sebagai narasumber, maka kita akan lebih memahami topik ini. Hasil studi kasus ini kemudian akan menunjukkan bagaimana pola perpindahan rumah itu terjadi pada seorang individu dan rumah-rumah apa saja yang terlibat dalam perpindahan ini.

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai pengaruh kebudayaan pada pembentukan pola ruang rumah tinggal yang telah pindah keluar daerah asalnya. Pembahasan dilihat melalui perspektif arsitektur interior yang menitikberatkan pada pengaturan pola tatanan ruang dalam rumah. Pola tersebut ditinjau berdasarkan tingkatan intervensi penghuni terhadap rumahnya, organisasi ruang, tata letak elemen interior, dan pemanfaatan ruang. Studi kasus dilakukan pada dua rumah orang Betawi yang berada di Cimahi, Jawa Barat. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan bahwa keduanya masih mencerminkan pola kebudayaan dari daerah asal mereka, meskipun lokasinya sudah berada di luar daerah tersebut. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam subconscious mind penghuni masih tertanam pola ruang tertentu yang berasal dari kebudayaan asal dan terus terbawa sehingga mereka cenderung membentuk rumahnya sesuai dengan pola tadi.

This study discusses the influence of culture on the configuration of house’s spatial pattern that had moved outside its origin place. This discussion is observed from the interior architecture perspective that focuses on the arrangement of space order pattern in the house. The pattern review based on the level of residents’ intervention toward their house, the space organization, the layout of the interior elements, and the space utilization. The case study was carried out in two Betawis’ houses in Cimahi, West Java.

The result showed that both of them are still representing its origin pattern, although the location is not in its origin place anymore. It indicates that the specific pattern which comes from its origin culture is still embedded and involved in the residents’ subconscious mind, so that they will configure their house accordance with that pattern."

Mencari bagaimana diagram beroperasi dalam proses desain merupakan tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini. Dalam skripsi ini akan dibahas mengenai peran diagram sebagai mesin abstrak melalui proses dan karakternya sebagai mesin abstrak. Proses reduksi dan proliferating dalam diagram bekerja secara terus-menerus dalam mengolah matter, yang merupakan input utama. Melalui proses reduksi dan proliferating, diagram melakukan proses konstruksi pemahaman baru secara terus menerus, yang dapat dilihat sebagai proses desain yang dilakukan dalam diagram. Pemahaman ini kemudian dipakai untuk membaca proses desain pada House IV oleh Peter Eisenman. Proses desain yang dilihat dari diagram House IV terjadi melalui operasi transformasi dan operasi Boolean.

ABSTRACTDiagram is a common tool used in the design process. Diagram acts as a generator or a generative tool in the design process. The purpose of this paper is to look for how the diagram operates in the design process. This paper will discuss the role of the diagram as an abstract machine through the processes in it, as well as the characteristics of the abstract machine. The reduction and the proliferating process in the diagram worked continuously in processing the matter, which is the main input. Through the processes of reduction and proliferating, diagrams construct a new understanding of matter continuously, which can be seen as a design process done in a diagram. This comprehension is then used to read the design process of House IV by Peter Eisenman. The design process seen in the diagrams of House IV by Peter Eisenman is done with the transformation and Boolean operation."

"Fenomena compact living telah marak terjadi dalam kehidupan kita, dimana kegiatan bertinggal menurut konsep compact living artinya mengemas segala kebutuhan manusia menjadi satu secara padat. Skripsi ini akan membahas lebih dalam tentang compact living yang terjadi di Indonesia khususnya apartemen, sampai sejauh apa compact living dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan fisik & nonfisik manusia yang bertinggal di dalamnya. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dan hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa di dalam perencanaan ruang dalam compact living, perlu memperhatikan unsur-unsur penting seperti flexibility, mobility, technology dan unsur alam yang dapat mengakomodasi kegiatan bertinggal yang terjadi dalam compact living.

The phenomenon of a compact living has been happening in our life, where the activities of dwelling according to the concept of a compact living it means package all human need to be one in solid.
