"[Supply chain risk management is an issue that many companies face and yet few companies know how to deal with it in a systematic and pragmatic manner. While avoiding and reducing supply chain risks are certainly preferable, developing ways to restore and stabilize supply chain operations rapidly after a major disruption is critical for managing global supply chains. Sodhi and Tang present important concepts, frameworks, strategies, and analyses that are essential for managing supply chain risks. Not only does this book suggest some practical ways to work with different partners to manage the risks that are present in a global supply chain, it creates a framework that would enable practitioners to engage researchers to work on this important area., Supply chain risk management is an issue that many companies face and yet few companies know how to deal with it in a systematic and pragmatic manner. "This book demonstrates that effective management of supply disruptions necessitates both strategic and tactical measures. The former involving optimal design of supply networks, the latter involving inventory, finance and demand management. It shows that managers ought to use all available levers at their disposal throughout the supply network, like sourcing and pricing strategies, providing financial subsidies, encouraging information sharing and incentive alignment between supply chain partners, in order to tackle supply disruptions. The editors combine up-to-date academic research with the latest operational risk management practices used in industry to demonstrate how theoreticians and practitioners can learn from each other."

"This work encapsulates the essential developments in this field into a single resource, as well as to set an agenda for further development in the field. This brief focuses on the demand flexibility in supply chains with fragmented results distributed throughout the literature. These results have strong implications for managing real-world complex operations planning problems.
This book exploits dimensions of demand flexibility in supply chains and characterizes the best fit between demand properties and operations capabilities and constraints. The origins and seminal works are traced in integrated demand and operations planning and an in-depth documentation is provided for the current state of the art. Systems with inherent costs and constraints that must respond to some set of demands at a minimum cost are examined. Crucial unanswered questions are explored and the high-value research directions are highlighted for both practice and for the development of new and interesting optimization models and algorithms."

The existence of raw materials is crucial for Car Manufacturers and their suppliers in the production process. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the global economy and led to a global increase in material prices. This has had a significant impact on production costs and the competitiveness of companies. In order to maintain competitiveness, companies need to implement the appropriate supply chain management strategies. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the current supply chain performance and provide recommendations for the appropriate supply chain business processes in addressing the phenomenon of global material price increases. This research utilizes the SCOR Framework and BPMN to evaluate and enhance the supply chain operations performance in Car Manufacturing companies. This research is conducted through qualitative and exploratory quantitative methods using the SCOR framework and BPMN. The research findings indicate that the supply chain performance is still lacking in the procurement area. Therefore, business process improvement needs to be conducted by transforming the current supplier-led raw material purchasing into self-purchase by the Car Manufacturer. The recommendation for the new business process is for the Car Manufacturer to directly purchase the raw materials for the supplier's needs, thereby eliminating the handling fee charged by the supplier."

strategy, efficiency-based strategy, innovation-based strategy, dan closed loop strategy.

ABSTRACT
This study elaborates business strategy selection for green supply chain management for
PT.XYZ via Analytical Network Process. GSCM is initiated as a response to reduce
environmental impacts from industrial activities. The purposes of this study are identifying
criteria and sub criteria in selecting GSCM Strategy and analyzing a suitable GSCM strategy
for PT.XYZ. This study proposes ANP network of 6 criteria and 29 sub criteria, which
collected from literature review and experts judgement. One from six criteria contains GSCM
strategy choices which are risk-based strategy, efficiency-based strategy, innovation-based
strategy, dan closed loop strategy. ANP solves complex GSCM strategy-selection by using
more structured process and considering green perspectives from experts and PT.XYZ. The
result from this research is innovation-based strategy as the most suitable and proper green
supply chain management strategy for PT.XYZ"
