"Pemborosan inventory disebabkan karena tidak adanya koordinasi dalam sistem Supply Chain Management. Koordinasi antara vendor dan buyer dapat mengurangi biaya inventory dalam sistem. Dengan metode joint economic lot size akan ditentukan lot produksi dan lot order yang optimal bagi vendor dan buyer. Dalam penelitian ini juga diusulkan penerapan metode quantity discount. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh nilai lot produksi dan lot order optimal serta nilai quantity discount. Selain itu, diperoleh juga perbandingan besarnya biaya inventory model independen dengan model koordinasi. Pengaruh perubahan parameter terhadap perilaku model diteliti dengan sensitivity analysis terhadap beberapa parameter kunci.

The problem of inventory loose is caused by non co¬ordination in the Supply Chain Management. Co¬ordination between vendor and buyer could minimize inventory cost in the system. Joint economic lot size method will determined the optimal lot production and lot order for vendor and buyer. This research also propose the quantity discount method. From this research, the joint economic lot size production and order and the value of the quantity discount are obtained. Also, the differences of inventory cost between independent model and co¬ordination model are obtained. Finally, A sensitivity analysis is performed to explore the effect of key parameters. "

"Konsep lean merupakan salah satu prinsip dalam lean yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses dengan mengeliminasi pemborosan sehingga berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan proses kerja yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Konsep lean dapat dipetakan menggunakan value stream mapping. Value stream mapping merupakan teknik memvisualisasikan aktivitas yang menambah nilai dan tidak menambah nilai dalam aliran proses dan informasi. Salah satu industri manufaktur yang telah memberikan kontribusi secara signifikan terhadap perekonomian adalah industri alas kaki. Akan tetapi, sejak akhir tahun 2022, industri alas kaki mengalami penurunan order yang membuat persaingan yang ketat antar industri alas kaki untuk tetap dapat mempertahankan eksistensinya. Persaingan yang kompetitif membuat perusahaan ingin meningkatkan proses produksinya. Salah satu elemen yang cukup berpengaruh dalam peningkatan produktivitas proses produksi adalah proses pergudangan. Proses pergudangan pada PT Sepatu Y saat ini masih memiliki lead time yang tinggi. Lead time merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam performa gudang. Lead time yang tinggi dapat terjadi karena masih terdapatnya proses pemborosan pada pergudangan terutama pada pemborosan transportation, overprocessing dan waiting. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menggunakan konsep lean dan metode value stream mapping dengan tujuan untuk mengurangi pemborosan dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses pergudangan. Penggunaan value stream mapping yang dilanjutkan dengan identifikasi pemborosan dan analisis fishbone dapat membantu untuk mendapatkan akar masalah yang akan digunakan untuk membuat usulan perbaikan. Failure mode and effect analysis diperlukan untuk membantu dalam memprioritaskan akar masalah berdasarkan nilai RPN. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kinerja gudang bahan baku yang ditandai dengan pengurangan lead time sebesar 29,96%, pengurangan processing time sebesar 31,59%, pengurangan waktu non-value added activity sebesar 70,12%, pengurangan waktu non-value added but necessary activity sebesar 66,47% dan peningkatan rasio value-added activity sebesar 26,55%. Rencana perbaikan yang diusulkan dalam rangka mengeliminasi pemborosan adalah pembuatan standar operasional prosedur pada sistem penjadwalan dan gudang, penerapan lean 5S, penerapan sistem FIFO dalam aliran pergudangan, perancangan standar pengemasan, dan penerapan digitalisasi data.

The notion of lean is one of the concepts of lean that strives to enhance processes by removing waste so that they impact the improvement of work processes that are more effective and efficient. Value stream mapping may be used to map Lean ideas. Value stream mapping is a technique for visualizing actions that contribute and do not add value in process and information flow. The footwear industry is one of the manufacturing businesses that has contributed considerably to the economy. However, since the end of 2022, the footwear business has witnessed a fall in orders, resulting in fierce rivalry among the footwear sector to sustain its survival. Companies are motivated to enhance their manufacturing processes as a result of competitive pressure. One significant factor that is quite influential in increasing the productivity of the production process is the warehousing process. The warehousing process at PT Sepatu Y currently still has a high lead time. Lead time is a crucial metric for measuring warehouse performance. High lead times can occur because warehousing still has inefficient procedures, namely waste of transportation, overprocessing, and waiting. As a result, this research employs lean ideas and value stream mapping methodologies in order to reduce waste and improve the efficiency of the warehousing operation. The use of value stream mapping followed by identification of waste and fishbone analysis can help to get to the root of the problem which will be used to make suggestions for improvements. Failure mode and effect analysis is needed to assist in prioritizing the root of the problem based on the RPN value. According to the results of this study indicate that, raw material warehouse performance has improved, as evidenced by a reduction in lead time of 29.96%, a reduction in processing time of 31.59%, a reduction in non-value added activity time of 70.12%, a reduction in non-value time added but necessary activity of 66.47%, and an increase in the value-added activity ratio of 26.55%. The proposed improvement plan in order to eliminate wastes includes the development of standard operating procedures in scheduling and warehouse systems, the implementation of lean 5S, the use of the FIFO method in warehousing flow, the establishment of packaging standards, and the use of data digitalization."

"Dalam skala dunia, plastik menghasilkan jejak karbon yang besar selama proses produksi hingga menjadi pelet plastik. Plastik biodegradable adalah solusi berkelanjutan untuk masalah lingkungan ini. Selain itu, lean manufacturing telah terbukti memberikan keuntungan bagi perusahaan manufaktur berupa menghilangkan pemborosan untuk meningkatkan nilai produk dan kepuasan pelanggan. Value stream mapping (VSM) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengurangi aktivitas yang tidak bernilai tambah. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) adalah metode sistematis untuk mengevaluasi beban lingkungan dengan mengidentifikasi dan mengukur energi dan bahan yang dikonsumsi serta limbah yang dilepaskan ke lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan konsep lean manufacturing dan life cycle assessment pada tahap gate-to-gate di industri plastik biodegradable untuk mengurangi waktu siklus dan dampak lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan lean manufacturing merupakan alternatif yang baik dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk mengurangi waktu siklus dan dampak emisi CO2 pada Industri Plastik Biodegradable.

On a global scale, plastic produces a large carbon footprint during the production process to become plastic pellets. Biodegradable plastic is a sustainable solution to this environmental problem. In addition, lean manufacturing has been proven to provide benefits for manufacturing companies in the form of eliminating waste to increase product value and customer satisfaction. Value stream mapping (VSM) is used to identify and reduce non-value added activities. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a systematic method for evaluating environmental loads by identifying and measuring energy and materials consumed and waste released into the environment. This study aims to implement the concept of lean manufacturing and life cycle assessment at the gate-to-gate stage in the biodegradable plastics industry to reduce cycle time and environmental impact. The results of the study show that the application of lean manufacturing is a good alternative in making decisions to reduce cycle times and the impact of CO2 emissions in the Biodegradable Plastics Industry."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis proses discharge pasien rawat inap di RS St. Elisabeth Bekasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan Lean Six Sigma melalui metode kualitatif dengan pengamatan pada 6 unit yang terlibat. Pendekatan Six Sigma mencoba mengurangi variasi waktu pada setiap tahapan discharge di masing-masing unit tersebut, pendekatan Lean mengidentifikasi aktifitas yang tidak menambah nilai dan berusaha menguranginya.
Hasil penelitian diperoleh, rat-rata waktu proses discharge pasien rawat inap adalah 238 menit dan faktor yang paling berperan untuk menurunkan waktu tersebut adalah disiapkannya instruksi pemulangan pasien oleh dokter, sehari sebelum pasien dipulangkan.

With the aim of streamlining the inpatient's discharge process at the Elizabeth Hospital Bekasi, this study analyzed the efficiency of discharge process using the Lean Six Sigma method. Six Sigma method tries to reduce time variation in each step of the discharge process followed by identifying the appropriate time. The Lean method identifies the non values activities (waste) to be reduced. For that, qualitative approach using observation was implied.
The study resulted with 238 minute as average total timing of discharge and the greatest impact to reduce it will be the one day earlier written discharge instruction prepared by the physician.
