"Karya tulis ini memaparkan mengenai reaksi non formal masyarakat terhadap penyalahgunaan wewenang yang dilakukan oleh anggota Polri. Pada dasarnya, karya tulis ini bergerak dari pendapat masyarakat yang melihat terjadinya penyimpangan dan penyalahgunaan wewenang yang dilakukan oleh anggota Polri. Bentuk pendapat ini dalam arti lain disebutkan sebagai persepsi masyarakat atau cara pandang masyarakat terhadap sebuah objek yaitu penyalahgunaan wewenang yang dilakukan oleh anggota Polri. Karya tulis ini juga menggambarkan bagaimana reaksi non formal ini akan berperan dalam masyarakat sebagai sebuah kontrol sosial berdasarkan pada teori kontrol soosial Ivan F. Nye dalam meminimalisir terjadinya penyalahgunaan wewenang. Kontrol sosial yang dibangun dalam masyarakat seharusnya bisa berperan untuk pemangku kebijakan dalam mengambil kebijakan.

This article describe about the public non formal reaction have against the abuse of authority by Indonesian National Police. Basically this article start from the public idea that sees abuse of authority by Indonesian National Police. The thesis laid its foundation on a public opinion which sees the occurrence of deviance and abuse of authority conducted by Indonesia National Police 39 s personnel. This assumption can also be seen as public 39 s perception or point of view regarding an object , which is an abuse of authority by Indonesia National Police 39 s personnel. The author tries to describe how this non formal reaction acts as a social control in society, based on Social Control Theory by Albert J. Reiss and Ivan F. Nye in order to minimize the occurrence of authority abuse. The social control, which is developed inside the society should be adequate to act as stakeholder in the realm of policy making."

"Non-consensual Distribution of Intimate Images (NCDII) adalah jenis kasus kekerasan berbasis gender siber yang paling banyak terjadi, namun hanya sedikit sekali perempuan penyintas yang melaporkan viktimisasinya kepada polisi. Bahkan, melaporkan viktimisasinya kepada polisi menjadi pilihan terakhir bagi perempuan penyintas. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat reaksi non-formal dari perempuan korban/penyintas, maupun perempuan yang bukan merupakan korban/penyintas, terhadap viktimisasi sekunder yang dialami oleh perempuan saat melaporkan viktimisasinya kepada polisi. Tulisan ini berada di bawah naungan teori feminis radikal, dan menggunakan metode analisis isi kualitatif untuk mengkaji berita dan cuitan yang berisi opini perempuan terkait penanganan kasus NCDII oleh polisi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepolisian adalah institusi yang tidak ideal bagi perempuan penyintas karena kepolisian adalah salah satu agen yang bertugas untuk melanggengkan patriarki. Perempuan yang mendapat perlakuan buruk dari polisi akan menceritakan pengalamannya melalui media online dan narasi ini kemudian mendorong terbentuknya digital feminist activism di kalangan perempuan untuk menentang perilaku polisi.

Non-consensual Distribution of Intimate Images (NCDII) is the most common type of cyber gender-based violence, yet only a few numbers of women survivors report their victimization to the police. In fact, reporting their victimization to the police is the last option for women survivors. This paper aims to examine the non-formal reaction of women victims/survivors, as well as women who are not victims/survivors, to the secondary victimization that experienced by women who reported their victimization to the police. This paper is written under the radical feminist theory framework, and uses qualitative content analysis method to examine news and tweets that contains women's opinions regarding the handling of NCDII cases by the police. The results of the analysis show that the police is not an ideal institution for female survivors because the police is one of the agents that’s in charge of perpetuating patriarchal ideology. Women who have been mistreated by the police will share their stories through online media and this narrative then encourage the formation of digital feminist activism among women to oppose police behavior."
