"ABSTRAK
Sistem pendinginan pada spent fuel pool saat ini masih memiliki
ketergantungan terhadap sistem pendingin aktif. Sistem pendingin aktif adalah
sistem pendingin yang memiliki ketergantungan terhadap energi listrik. Pada saat
terjadi Station Blackout (SBO), sistem pendingin spent fuel pool tidak bekerja dan
lama kelamaan dapat menyebabkan peristiwa loss of pool coolant, serta dapat
menyebakan radiasi radioaktif kelingkungan. Salah satu alat penukar kalor yang
dapat dikembangkan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut adalah heat
pipe. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pengujian heat pipe jenis two-phase closed
thermosyphon (TPCT). TPCT merupakan alat penukar kalor pasif yang memiliki
konduktivitas termal yang sangat tinggi dan sudah banyak dikembangkan pada
banyak aplikasi. Geometri dari kontainer TPCT yang diuji adalah sepanjang 1,5m
diameter 1 inch, serta rasio yang sama pada bagian evaporator, adiabatik, dan
kondenser. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh filling ratio fluida
kerja dan inisiasi tekanan terhadap kinerja TPCT. Dari penelitian ini, diperoleh
filling ratio optimum adalah pada 60% volume evaporator dan variasi inisiasi
tekanan memberikan karakteristik temperatur pada dinding TPCT yang berbeda.
ABSTRACT
The spent fuel pool cooling system nowadays still has dependency to
active cooling system.. Active cooling system is a cooling system that still has
dependency to electrical power. When Station Blackout (SBO) occurs, the spent
radioactive radiation released to the environment. One of the heat exchanger that
can be used to solve this problem is heat pipe. In this research, two phase closed
thermosyphon were examined. TPCT is a passive heat transfer device which has a

"Penggunaan refrigeran HFCs dan hydrocarbon mulai banyak digunakan untuk menggantikan refrigeran HCFCs, karena memiliki nilai Ozon Depletion Potential (ODP) 0.0. Salah satu contohnya adalah R-290 (propane) yang termasuk golongan refrigeran hydrocarbon dengan struktur molekul C3H8. Pada penelitian ini, perpindahan kalor pada proses didih alir terjadi dalam pipa kanal mini berdiameter dalam 7.6 mm dan panjang 1.07 m. Untuk menentukan nilai koefisien perpindahan kalor, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan variasi fluks massa dari 200 kg/m2.s sampai 400 kg/m2.s, fluks kalor dari 5 kW/m2 sampai 20 kW/m2 , dan temperatur saturasi dari 5 oC sampai 15 oC. Koefisien perpindahan kalor pada R-290 dipengaruhi oleh fluks kalor, fluks massa, dan temperatur saturasi. Semakin tinggi fluks kalor, fluks massa dan temperatur saturasi maka koefisien perpindahan kalor akan meningkat. Pada perbandingan koefisien perpindahan kalor dengan korelasi dari beberapa peneliti sebelumnya, korelasi dari Shah (1982) memiliki nilai deviasi rata-rata paling kecil, yaitu 32.20%. Korelasi baru didapatkan dari pengembangan faktor F dengan metode regresi dan diperoleh nilai daviasi rata-rata yang lebih kecil, yaitu 22.46%.

The use of HCFCs refrigerants are gradually being replaced by HFCs and hydrocarbons refrigerants that has 0.0 ODP (Ozon Depletion Potential). One of which is R-290 (propane), which is a hydrocarbon refrigerant with C3H8 molecular structure. In this research, the flow boiling heat transfer occurs inside small tube with diameter of 7.6 mm and length of 1.07 m. In order to determine the value of heat transfer coefficient, the experiment were carried out for mass fluxes ranging from 200 kg/m2s to 400 kg/m2s, heat fluxes ranging from 5 kW/m2 to 20 kW/m2, and saturation temperatures from 5 oC to 15 oC. The study analyzed the heat transfer, through the local heat transfer coefficient along the flow, under the variation of these different parameters. The boiling heat transfer coefficient of R-290 is influenced by heat flux, mass flux, and saturation temperature. In comparison to previous boiling heat transfer correlations, the correlation of Shah (1982) best fitted the experimental result with the mean deviation of 32.20%. The new correlation for boiling heat transfer coefficient was developed by modification of F factor with regression method. The new correlation has smaller mean deviation in comparison with the experimental result, that is 22.46%."

"Kajian ini menganalisis sikap dan kebijakan yang diambil Turki dalam berelasi dengan sekutu NATO-nya terkait permasalahan pasukan Kurdi Suriah. Tidak puas dengan sikap NATO yang mendukung pasukan Kurdi Suriah, pemerintahan Erdogan memutuskan untuk bertindak secara sepihak dan melancarkan tiga operasi militer di Suriah demi menghancurkan pasukan Kurdi Suriah. Unit Perlindungan Rakyat (YPG) dan Pasukan Demokratik Suriah (SDF) merupakan kelompok milisi Kurdi di Suriah yang dianggap sebagai ancaman terorisme bagi Turki tetapi tidak bagi NATO. Kajian ini menganalisis relasi Turki-NATO melalui persepsi ancaman terhadap YPG/SDF akibat minimnya literatur yang membahas topik tersebut. Dengan menggunakan kerangka kerja analisis Oposisi Intra Aliansi dari Oya Dursun Ozkanca dan Dilema Keamanan Aliansi dari Glenn Snyder, serta metode penelitian causal-process tracing, kajian ini menemukan bahwa penyebab dari sikap oposisi Turki terhadap NATO adalah karena tidak terpenuhinya indikator komitmen dari variabel fear of entrapment. Penulis berargumen bahwa tidak terpenuhinya komitmen dari NATO/Amerika Serikat dalam menyediakan dukungan baik fisik maupun retorik, sepanjang tiga operasi militer Turki, menyebabkan fear of abandonment Turki.

This study analyzes the attitudes and policies taken by Turkey in dealing with its NATO allies regarding the issue of the Syrian Kurdish forces. Not satisfied with NATO's stance in favor of Syrian Kurdish forces, Erdogan‘s government decided to act unilaterally and launch three military operations in Syria to destroy Syrian Kurdish forces. The People's Protection Unit (YPG) and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are Kurdish militia groups in Syria that are considered a terrorist threat to Turkey but not to NATO. This study analyzes Turkey-NATO relations through the perceived threat to the YPG/SDF due to the lack of literature discussing this topic. By using the analytical framework of Oya Dursun Ozkanca's Intra-Alliance Opposition and Glenn Snyder's Alliance Security Dilemma, as well as the causal-process tracing research method, this study finds that the cause of Turkey's opposition towards NATO is due to the non-fulfillment of the commitment indicator from the fear of entrapment variable. The author argues that the non-fulfillment of commitments from NATO/USA in providing both physical and rhetorical support, throughout Turkey's three military operations, caused Turkey's fear of abandonment."
