"Pada tahun 1950 Perang Dingin berubah menjadi panas ketika pada tanggal 25 Juni 1950 Tentara Rakyat Korea Utara menyerang Korea Selatan. Serangan itu menyebabkan PBB, dengan Amerika Serikat sebagai kekuatan utamanya, melakukan intervensi militer untuk mengusir para penyerbu.
