"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pendidikan dan pendapatan terhadap adopsi Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di Indonesia dan mengakomodasi analisis interaksi antara pendidikan dan pendapatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan instrumental variabel pada variabel pendapatan dengan menggunakan instrumen karakteristik rumah. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengestimasi dampak adalah metode two stage least square dengan menggunakan data dari SUSENAS 2018 dan PODES 2018. Level unit dalam penelitian ini adalah individu dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 804.703 sampel. Hasil menemukan bahwa terdapat interaksi antara pendidikan dan pendapatan yang berbeda pada adopsi TIK dan terdapat variasi pada jenis TIK yang berbeda.

This study discusses about the impact of education and income towards the adoption of information and communication technology in Indonesia and accommodate the analysis of interaction term between education and income. This study uses instrumental variables on income variables using house characteristics as the instruments. The method that used to estimate the results is the two-stage least square method using data from SUSENAS 2018 and PODES 2018. The unit level in this study is individuals using a sample of 804,703 samples. The result of this study shows that there is interaction term between education and income on ICT adoption and have different variations on different types of ICT."
