"Tesis ini membahas tentang transitory dengan produk utama dari transitory ini adalah peluang spasial (spatial opportunity). Ide utama dari transitory ini adalah tentang keberlanjutan suatu ruang. Ruang transitory menjadi ruang normalisasi untuk memungkinkan munculnyapeluang spasial (spatial opportunity), yang mana peluang ini memiliki peranan penting dalam menjaga keberlanjutan ruang tersebut. Ruang dalam tesis ini dipahami sebagai suatu konfigurasi (place) pada lokasi tertentu yang beroperasi. Konfigurasi yang beroperasi ini kemudian didasarkan dari tiga parameter, yaitu arah, kecepatan, dan waktu, dimana disini kemudian saya menemukan pergerakkan sebagai bentuk konfigurasi yang beroperasi. Pergerakkan ini kemudian didisrupsi dengan strategi indeterminacy untuk kemudian menjadikan pergerakkan ini menjadi pergerakkan drifting. Dalam drifting inilah kemudian titik peluang spasial diproduksi dengan intensitas tinggi. Titik peluang spasial ini menawarkan peluang interaksi, dimana dalam kasus ruang yang saya angkat, yaitu ruang komersial, menjadi sangat penting dalam mempertahankan relevansinya (keberlanjutannya) dalam keseharian keberadaan ruang ini.

This thesis is discussing about transitory, whereas the main product of this transitory notion is spatial opportunity. The main idea of transitory is about continuity of space, whereas this continuity is the result of the production of new/next space, adapting its relevance with the context. Transitory space is the normalization space to open the possibility of spatial opportunity production, whereas this spatial opportunity plays important role to maintain the continuity of the space. The term space in this thesis is conceived as an operational state of a configuration (place) at certain location. There are three parameters that make a configuration operate, that is vector, velocity, and time, whereas then, I found movement is a form of a configuration that is in operational state. This movement then, will be disrupted by the "indeterminacy" strategy, to induce this movement to become drifting. In drifting, the spatial opportunity will be produced with higher level of intensity. This spatial opportunity offers an interaction opportunity, which plays important role in this thesis's spatial case, commercial space. It is fundamental for a commercial space to constantly produce interaction opportunity between the actors (seller and buyer), to maintain its continuity and relevance as an everyday business area."
