"The research objective is to know the rank of state universities in Indonesia and its library by using Webometrics Rankings of world universities and web impact factor parameter, then analyze correlation between the rank of state universities in Indonesia and its library rank from both of parameters and also analyze correlation between WRWU rank with WIF rank at the state university libraries in Indonesia. This research using quantitative approach by means of webometrics analysis technical with using WRWU and WIF parameter. Research of the population is all of universities in Indonesia with sample 49 domain sites of university and its library. Data was obtained through search engine on May 19th 2011. The result shows that the highest rank based on WRWU parameter for the state university is The University of Gadjah Mada and for the library is Diponegoro University Library. The highest rank based of WIF parameter is State University of Surabaya while for library is the Bengkulu University. The results of correlation analysis shows that there is strong relation between the rank of State Universities in Indonesia with its library rank based of WRWU parameter, there is very low relation between the rank of state universities in Indonesia with the rank its library based of WIF parameter and also there is significant relationship between the rank of WRWU parameter with WIF parameter of State Universities Libraries in Indonesia."

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai bagaimana penerapan kebijakan preservasi koleksi peta di Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia (PNRI). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengindentifikasi penerapan kebijakan preservasi koleksi peta yang diterapkan di lapangan sehingga kendala penerapan kebijakan tersebut dapat dianalisis. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yaitu wawancara mendalam kepada pihak yang terkait di dalam proses preservasi koleksi peta dan melakukan observasi yaitu berupa pengamatan secara langsung terhadap objek penilitian. Kebijakan preservasi yang diteliti adalah manajemen, sumber daya manusia, fasilitas serta anggaran yang berkaitan dengan presevasi peta. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa dalam penerapan kebijakan preservasi koleksi peta di PNRI masih banyak kendala-kendala yang ditemui sehingga penerapan kebijakan belum berjalan secara optimal.

This study discusses the implementation of a policy on how to preserve a collection of maps in the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (PNRI). The purpose of this study is to identify the implementation of a maps’ collection that applied in the object of research, so that contraints of the application can be analyzed. The approach used in this study is a qualitative case study method that is in-depth interviews to the relevant parties in the preservation map collection process’ and observation namely direct observation to the object. Preservation policies studied were management, human resources, facilities and budgets relating to the maps’ preservation. The results of the research revealed that the implementation of map colections’ preservation policy at PNRI are still having many obstacles so that the implementation of the policy has not run optimally."
