"ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas mengenai pokok permasalahan yaitu: alasan Indonesiamengalur varietas lokal, penerapan HKI terhadap varietas lokal dan hubunganantara WTO, UPOV dan hukum nasional Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian Tesis iniuntuk menjawab pokok-pqkok permasalahan yaitu untuk méngelahui mengapavariezas lokal harus diatur oleh hukum nasional Indonesia, kemudian untukmengetahui apakah HKI bisa diterapkan terhadap varietas lokal yang merupakan ciri khas Indonesia yang memiliki hak komunal, serta untuk mendapatkanhubungan mengenai varietas lokal antara WTO, UPOV dan hukum nasionalIndonesia. Penelitian Tesis ini menggunakan yuridis normatif karenapenelitian Tesis ini merupakan fokus penelitian untuk mengkaji penerapan normadi dalam hukum positif. 'Tipe penelitian yuridis normatif menggunakanpendekatan perundang-uandangan (statue approach) dan pendekatan konsep (conceptual approach). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia harusmengatur varietas lokal, penerapan HKI terhadap varietas lokal harus memberikanbenefit sharing kepada masyarakat melalui Pemerintah serta hubungan mengenaivarietas lokal antara WTO, UPOV dan hukum di Indonesia adalah ketentuanPasal 27 ayat (3) huruf b TRIP's Agreement. Penelitian Tesi sini juga ményarankanagar Indonesi tidak perlu masuk menjadi anggota UPOV dan Indonesia perlumemperbaiki UU No. 29 Tahun 2000 agar menjmin hak petani dan benefitsharing atas penggunaan varietas lokal.

AbstractThis thesis will discuss about the principal problems that the reason by Indonesiato set the local varieties, application of IPRs to the local varieties and relationshipbetween the WTO, UPOV and Indonesian national law. The aim of this thesisresearch to answer the points problem is consist of find out why local varietiesshould be govemed by national laws to Indonesia, then to determine whether IPRscan be applied to the local varieties that are characteristic Indonesia which havecommunal rights, and to obtain the relationship about the local variety betweenthe WTO, UPOV and Indonesian national law. This, Thesis research is usingnormative legal for this thesis research because the focus of research toexamine the application of the norms in the positive law. Type of the normative legalresearch using the approach of legislation (statute approach) and the approach ofconcept (conceptual approach). The results of this study showed that Indonesiashould manage the local varieties, the application' of IPR's to the local varietiesmust offer benefits to the community sharing through the the Government andthe relationship about the local variety beetween WTO, UPOV and law inIndonesia is the provision of Article 27 paragraph (3) point b of the TRIP'sAgreement. This thesis research also suggests that lndonesia should not become amember of UPOV and Indonesia needs to improve the Act No. 29 of 2000 inorder to guarantee the rights of farmers and benefits sharing for the use of localvarieties. "

"Prototype program televisi ini berbentuk rancangan program televisi yang berdurasi total 60 menit. Program “The Cendol Show” ini merupakan suatu program game show yang bertemakan kebudayaan tradisional. Peserta berlomba di daerah-daerah yang ada di Indonesia dalam tiga babak yaitu mencari tutor, bermain kuis rebutan yang berisi pertanyaan-pertanyaan mengenai kebudayaan setempat dan bermain permainan tradisional. Peserta dibagi atas tiga tim yang terdiri dari tiga orang. Setiap tim dipimpin oleh kapten yang berasal dari selebritis. Hadiah utama dari permainan ini sebesar Rp. 15.000.000,-. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan tayangan yang berkualitas, menghibur, sekaligus mendidik bagi masyarakat. Melalui program ini, diharapkan masyarakat akan mampu melestarikan budaya yang semakin tergerus dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi. Program ini akan disiarkan secara live on tape setiap satu minggu sekali pada hari Jumat pukul 16.00 WIB di Trans TV. Biaya produksi program ini diperkirakan mencapai Rp. 299.970.000,-

"The Cendol Show" is a 60-minutes program’s prototype. This program bring up traditional culture as it main themes. Contestant will races throughout Indonesia within three stages, find a tutor, playing local content quiz, and playing traditional game. Contestants consist by three teams of participants. In every team there are three people with one captain from celebrity who lead the team. The prize in this program is Rp. 15.000.000,-.

This program is intended to give a quality show, entertain the people, and educating public. This program, expected people able to conserve the culture which eroded with the modern technology. This program will be broadcast by Trans TV, live on tape every Friday at 04.00 pm. For its first episode, “The Cendol Show”, production cost is estimated Rp. 299.970.000,-"
