"[Kereta Rel Listrik (KRL) disuplai tegangan 1500 V DC oleh gardu traksi yang didalamnya terdapat komponen penyearah. Penyearah ini memproduksi harmonisa yang menyuntikkan arus menuju sumber tegangan menengah 20kV PLN dan dapat menyebabkan rusaknya peralatan listrik. Hasil pengukuran distorsi harmonisa pada kubikel 20kV/1.2kV gardu traksi menunjukkan THD maksimum tegangan sebesar 1.87 % dan THD arus maksimum sebesar 63.38 %. THD maksimum tegangan masih dibawah standar IEEE (<5%) sedangkan THD maksimum arus berada diatas standar IEEE (<20%). Untuk mengurangi efek distorsi harmonisa arus, dirancang filter pasif untuk memfilter harmonisa orde ke-5,ke-7, dan ke-11. Hasil simulasi dengan ETAP 7.0.0 didapatkan hasil rancangan filter pasif optimum dapat mengurangi THD arus hingga rata-rata 6.24%., Electric train is supplied with 1500 V DC by traction substation which have components of the rectifier . This rectifier produces harmonics that inject harmonics current toward source 20kV PLN and cause the damage of electric utility. Measurement results of harmonic distortion at 20kV/1.2kV cubicles in traction substation shows that the maximum value of THD-v is 1.87% and the maximum value of THD-i is 63.38 %. THD-v is below IEEE standard (< 5 %) and THD-i is above the IEEE standard (<20 %). In order to reduce the effects of harmonics currents, passive filter is designed to filter harmonics for 5th , 7th , and 11th order. ETAP 7.0.0 simulation result obtains the optimum design of passive filter that can reduce THD-i to 6.24% average.]"
