"Seorang apoteker memegang peran penting di industri farmasi, apotek, serta pemerintah. Seorang apoteker harus memenuhi standar kompetensi apoteker sebelum melakukan praktik profesi. Standar kompetensi apoteker di Indonesia, terdiri dari 10 standar kompetensi yang diharapkan dapat dipenuhi oleh profesi apoteker sebelum melakuan praktik kerja profesi. Agar calon apoteker dapat memahami peran profesi apoteker serta mendapatkan pengalaman praktis dalam melakukan praktik kefarmasian, maka dilaksanakan praktik kerja profesi apoteker(PKPA) di PT Sandoz Indonesia, Suku Dinas Kesehatan Kota Administrasi Jakarta Timur dan Apotek JacoebSon Pharmacy selama periode Januari sampai April 2019. Selama praktik kerja profesi apoteker, diharapkan calon apoteker mendapatkan wawasan serta pengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di tempat praktik profesi.

"Praktik kerja profesi di PT Sandoz Indonesia Periode Bulan Januari ndash; Februari Tahun 2018 bertujuan untuk mengetahui tugas dan tanggung jawab apoteker di industri farmasi dan memahami penerapan Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik CPOB di Industi Farmasi. Selain itu calon apoteker juga dapat memiliki gambaran nyata tentang permasalahan pekerjaan kefarmasian di industri farmasi, memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman praktis untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di industri farmasi. Tugas khusus yang diberikan yaitu berjudul ldquo;Ongoing Process Verifictaion OPV Tablet ldquo;X rdquo; rdquo;. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan tugas khusus di PT Sandoz Indonesia adalah untuk mengetahui dan memastikan apakah proses produksi yang berjalan, tetap dalam keadaan yang terkendali dan memberikan kesempatan untuk perbaikan yang bermanfaat. Secara umum, Sandoz Indonesia telah menerapkan 12 aspek CPOB dengan baik dan benar, penulis juga telah mendapatkan kemampuan untuk memahami peran, tugas, wawasan dan tanggung jawab apoteker dan memberikan solusi pada permasalahan di industri farmasi.
