"Penelitian tesis ini dilakukan di Kantor PT.ASRA, sebuah perusahaan penyedia jasa keuangan di bidang Asuransi Umum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan apakah kepemimpinan, psychological capital dan komitmen organisasi memengaruhi kinerja dan rancangan intervensi yang dapat dilakukan terhadap kepemimpinan, psychological capital, komitmen organisasi serta rancangan intervensi manajemen pengetahuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di unit penjualan dan unit klaim di PT.ASRA. Kepemimpinan diukur dengan LMX7, komitmen organisasi diukur dengan Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ), dan psychological capital diukur dengan PsyCap Questionnaire (PCQ). Analisa regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan kepemimpinan, psychological capital, komitmen organisasi afektif, komitmen organisasi continuance, dan komitmen organisasi normatif terhadap kinerja (p<0,05) dengan Nilai R2 sebesar 0,869 yang menunjukan bahwa variasi kepemimpinan leader-member exchange, psychological capital, komitmen organisasi afektif, komitmen organisasi continuance, dan komitmen organisasi normatif mampu menjelaskan sebesar 86,9% variasi kinerja, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 13,1% dipengaruhi atau dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukan ke dalam model penelitian ini. Secara parsial variabel psychological capital, komitmen organisasi afektif, komitmen organisasi continuance, dan kepemimpinan leader-member exchange yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja. Rancangan intervensi dibagi menjadi dua tahap, yaitu 1) intervensi terhadap kepemimpinan leader-member exchange melalui pelatihan kepemimpinan leader-member exchange (kelas dan on-the-job) dan coaching dan mentoring; 2) intervensi manajemen pengetahuan dalam berbagi pengetahuan tacit dan eskplisit berbasis SECI melalui Community of Practice.

This research was held at PT.ASRA, a general insurance company. Purposes of this research are to determine whether leadership, psychological capital and organizational commitment has impact to job performance, to determine design intervention toward leadership, psychological capital, and organizational commitment also to determine design intervention of knowledge management to increase job performance in sales and claim unit at PT.ASRA. Leadership measurement is using LMX7, organizational commitment measurement is using Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ), and psychological capital measurement is using PsyCap Questionnaire (PCQ). Multiple regression result shows that there is a significant impact of leadership, psychological capital, organizational commitment affective, continuance, and normative through performance (p<0,05) with R2 = 0,869 or show that leadership leader-member exchange, psychological capital, organizational commitment affective, continuance, and normative variations able to explain 86,9% performance, and 13,1% influenced or explained by another variable that not included in this research. Partialy, psychological capital, organizational commitment affective, continuance, and leadership leader-member exchange had significant impact through performance. Design intervention is devided into two phases, 1) design intervention towards leadership leader-member exchange through leadership leader-member exchange training (class and on-the-job) coaching and mentoring; 2) design intervention knowledge management on sharing tacit and explicit knowledge based on SECI through Community of Practice (CoP).

"Penelitian ini fokus pada hubungan variabel Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), serta intervensi terhadap Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) untuk melihat dampaknya pada Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Sebanyak sepuluh orang karyawan PT X besedia berpartisipasi pada penelitian ini dan mengisi kuesioner yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu LMX-MDM (1998) dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale (1990). Kuesioner-kuesioner tersebut mengukur perilaku kerja karyawan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian leadership program intervention.
Hasil penelitian menggunakan The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan nilai yang signifikan, baik LMX dan OCB saat sebelum dan sesudah pemberian program intervensi kepemimpinan (p>0.05). Hasil ini disebabkan beberapa faktor antara lain lack of time dalam proses transfer of learning, belum optimalnya peran controller dalam proses implementasi hasil pembelajaran, dan beberapa hal lainnya yang akan dibahas pada bagian diskusi.

This research focused on the relationship between Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), along with intervention on Leader-Member Exchange and its impacts on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Ten employees of PT X agreed to participate in this study and filled in LMX-MDM Scale (1998) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale (1990). Those questionnaires measured employees’ work behaviors before and after a leadership intervention program.
The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test results showed that there was no significant difference in Leader-Member Exchange and Organizational Citizenship Behavior before and after intervention (p>0.05). These results were caused by several factors including lack of time in the transfer of learning process, the role of the controller was less involved during implementation process of learning outcomes, and several other things that will be discussed in the discussion section.

"In recent years many researchers have argued that knowledge and the capability to create and utilize it are the most important sources of a firms's sustainable competitive advantage. Many firms are employing the latest information technology as a set of knowledge management tools. However,despite the continuing boom of and advances in IT, the productivity of knowledge workers does not seem have increased much. These tools not offer an integrated and holictic way of dealing with tacit and explicit knowledge in the context of knowledge economy. IT not used to facilities or trigger the creation of new knowledge. Use the concept of Nonaka, CRTools and ART systems, this paper try to explain the relationship of information technology to create a new knowledge. This paper also an preliminary study to explore the role of leader in the process to create a new knowledge. Information and knowledge management is the key function of leader, although have not been explored."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat efektivitas program pelatihan kepemimpinan LMX untuk meningkatkan keefektifan tim pada pelaut di PT. X. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian applied research dengan jumlah partisipan penelitian sebanyak 56 pelaut di PT. X. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adaptasi alat ukur five functional team 5FT Lencioni, 2005 dengan nilai koefisien alpha ? sebesar 0.838 dan alat ukur leader-member exchange multidimentionality measurement LMX-MDM Liden Maslyn, 1998 dengan nilai koefisien alpha ? sebesar 0.794. Peneliti menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut dan uji paired sample t-test untuk melihat perbedaan signifikansi dari skor pre test dan post test materi intervensi yang diberikan.
Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara leader-member exchange dengan keefektifan tim r = 0.57, p < 0.05, signifikan . Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dengan semakin meningkatnya leader-member exchange para pelaut maka keefektifan tim mereka akan semakin tinggi. Selain itu juga terdapat perbedaan skor pre test dan post test materi intervensi yang signifikan t = -3.87, p < 0.05, signifikan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pelatihan kepemimpinan LMX. Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan kepemimpinan LMX dapat meningkatkan pemahaman para pelaut terhadap materi intervensi.

The study was conducted to see the effectiveness of LMX leadership training programs to enhance team effectiveness of seafarer in PT. X. This study used applied research studies with 56 seafarers as the participants. The research that was used five functional team measurement 5FT Lencioni, 2005 with coefficient alpha score 0.838 and leader member exchange multidimentional measurement LMX MDM Liden Maslyn, 1998 with coefficient alpha score 0.794. The Pearson correlation technique was used to determine the relationship between two variables and the paired sample t test was used to see the significance differences from pre and post test scores of the given intervention materials.
The results showed a significant and positive relationship between leader member exchange and team effectiveness r 0.57, p 0.05, significant. It showed that with increasing leader member exchange so seafarers team effectiveness will be increase. In addition, there were significant differences from pre and post test scores t 3.87, p 0.05, significant of interventions material before and after the intervention of LMX leadership training. The analysis results showed that LMX leadership training can enhance the understanding of the seafarers of the intervention materials.

"Future organizations have form and appearance dynamic as proper as their environment condition in order to compete in competition. Therefore, organization should be developing knowledge management and technology application. There is need to make a good will from the leaders who have transformational leadership style and applied a learning organization concept. This research purpose to know a description or company employees perception concerning transformational leadership in knowledge management and technology application to get and maintain competition position in globalization. Research used survey method with chosen a case study at BNI Card Center -- Jakarta. Samples choose randomly 80 of 311 employees. In this research progress, author used Leadership Questionnaires instrument to get employees perception concerning transformational leadership aspects. Meanwhile knowledge management and technology application used Learning Organization Profile instrument from Marquardt to measure Knowledge management variable and technology. To measure these variables used Likert model scale. From this research known that most of employees who's said transformational leadership not application at all is 1.25%, occasionally 10.05%, Often 40.02% and Very Often 3.80%. In knowledge management, employees who's said it is not application yet 1.25%, little mere 15.25%, particular some 41.50%, a large part 35.00% and completely 7.00%. For technology application uses, employees who's said not application yet is 11.50%, little mere 18.00%, particular some 25.75% and completely 5.50%. Generally it concludes that in lower knowledge management level and technology application current in BNI Card Center, there are limitations on creating and developing transformational leadership that affect superiority competition."

"Peningkatan globalisasi dan keragaman budaya menuntut perusahaan multinasional untuk mengelola perbedaan budaya dan dinamika pengetahuan secara efektif, dengan dibantu oleh pemimpin dan juga adanya work engagement karyawan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh cultural intelligence dan knowledge-oriented leadership terhadap knowledge management success dengan work engagement sebagai variabel mediasi pada PT Bank DBS Indonesia, kantor pusat Jakarta. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain cross-sectional, data dikumpulkan melalui survei daring terhadap 197 karyawan tetap dan kontrak. Teknik analisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cultural intelligence dan knowledge oriented leadership memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap knowledge management success. Selain itu, work engagement berperan sebagai mediator yang signifikan dalam hubungan antara variabel-variabel tersebut. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi perusahaan untuk meningkatkan knowledge management success melalui pengembangan pelatihan lintas budaya, knowledge-oriented leadership, dan strategi untuk meningkatkan work engagement karyawan. Implikasi akademis mencakup perluasan literatur terkait knowledge management dalam konteks multinasional, khususnya di Indonesia.

Increasing globalization and cultural diversity require multinational companies to manage cultural differences and knowledge dynamics effectively, with the help of leaders and the work engagement of company employees. This study aims to analyze the influence of cultural intelligence and knowledge-oriented leadership on knowledge management success with work engagement as a mediating variable at PT Bank DBS Indonesia, Jakarta head office. With a quantitative approach and cross-sectional design, data were collected through an online survey of 197 permanent and contract employees. The analysis technique used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the relationship between variables. The results showed that cultural intelligence and knowledge-oriented leadership positively and significantly influence knowledge management success. In addition, work engagement is a significant mediator in the relationship between these variables. This study provides practical contributions for companies to improve knowledge management success through developing cross-cultural training, knowledge oriented leadership, and strategies to increase employee work engagement. Academic implications include expanding the literature on knowledge management in a multinational context, especially in Indonesia."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara Leader
Member Exchange (LMX) dan kinerja karyawan di perusahaan bidang industri
manufaktur yang mengolah serta memproduksi besi dan baja. LMX didefinisikan
sebagai hubungan dua arah yang dinamis antara pemimpin dan karyawan dimana
pemimpin akan memperlakukan karyawan secara berbeda sesuai dengan waktu
dan kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh atasan tersebut (Graen dan Cashman, 1975).
LMX merupakan variabel multidimensional, memiliki empat dimensi yaitu
kontribusi, loyalitas, afeksi dan respek terhadap profesi (Liden dan Maslyn, 1998)
yang diukur melalui LMX-MDM dalam the Indonesian Quality of Work Life
Questionnaire (IQWiQ) (Radikun, 2010). Kinerja adalah nilai total yang
diharapkan oleh perusahaan dari pekerjaan yang dilakukan seseorang selama
periode waktu tertentu yang diukur melalui alat ukur kinerja dari Casimir et al
(2006) dan telah diadaptasi dalam the Indonesian Quality of Work Life
Questionnaire (IQWQ) (Radikun, 2010). Sampel dalam penelitian ini mencakup
113 karyawan dari 13 divisi PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk yang terdiri dari 7
divisi lapangan dan 6 divisi back office. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak
ada hubungan antara LMX dengan kinerja karyawan PT Krakatau Steel (Persero)
Tbk. (r=+0.179, p>0.05, two tailed). Tetapi, hasil analisis menunjukan terdapat
korelasi yang signifikan antara dimensi kontribusi dari LMX dan kinerja
karyawan divisi lapangan PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. (r=+0.277, p<0.05).

Abstract
This research is to analyze the relationship between Leader Member
Exchange (LMX) and employees? performance in iron and steel manufacturing
industry. LMX is defined as the dynamic two-way relationship between the
leaders and the employees in which the leaders will treat the employees diferently
according to the time and competence of the respective leaders (Graen and
Cashman, 1975). LMX is multi-dimentional variable with four dimensions which
are contribution, loyalty, affection, and respect to their profession (Liedn and
Maslyn, 1998) measured through LMX-MDM in Indonesian Quality of Work Life
Questionnaire (IQWiQ) (Radikun, 2010). Performance is defined as the total
expected value to the organization of the discrete behavioral episodes that an
individual carries out over a standard period of time measured with work
performance measuring tool from Casimir et.al (2006) which has been adapted to
the Indonesian Quality of Work Life Questionnaire (IQWQ) (Radikun, 2010). The
samples in this research are 113 employees from 13 divisions in PT Krakatau
Steel (Persero) Tbk, consis of 7 field divisions and 6 back office divisions. The
results of the analysis show that there is no relationship between LMX and
employees? performance in PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. (r=+0.179, p>0.05,
two tailed). But, The results of analysis show that there was significant
relationship between contribution dimension of LMX and employees?
performance in field division of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. (r=+0.277,
p<0.05)."

"Tesis ini membahas kualitas pelayanan di PT Graha Martha. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab tingginya tingkat keluhan pelanggan. Untuk mencapai kinerja tinggi perusahaan harus meningkatkan kualitas layanannya kepada pelanggan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan data dari wawancara dan observasi untuk menganalisis penyebab internal dan eksternal masalah ketidakhadiran. Faktor internal berupa analisis keterlibatan karyawan dan faktor eksternal berupa analisis karakteristik serta keterlibatan pekerjaan. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan harus menerapkan intervensi manajemen pengetahuan dan intervensi teknostruktural menggunakan teori Employee Involvement (EI). Peningkatan kualitas pelayanan melalui program Employee Involvement difokuskan pada empat elemen pokok yaitu kekuasaan, informasi, pengetahuan dan keterampilan, dan remunerasi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan Engineers terhadap perusahaan yang pada akhirnya akan menghasilkan kinerja perusahaan yang tinggi.

This thesis discuses the quality of service in PT Graha Martha. It aims to identify the causes of the rate of customers. this research applies qualitative design and uses data from interviews and obsevations to analyze the eployee engagement analysis whilst the external factors focus on abalyzing the job characteristic and job involvement. the results of the study suggest that the company shoul implement knowledge managemnet and technostructural interventions using Employee Involvement theory. Quality of service involvement through Employee Involvement program is focused on four principal elements namely power, information, knowledge and skills, and remuneration to increac=se engineers' involvement to the company which eventually will results in high corporate performance.

"ABSTRAK
Perilaku kerja inovatif merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang dapat memengaruhi
keberlangsungan sebuah organisasi di tengah ketatnya persaingan di dunia industri.
Oleh sebab itulah, untuk dapat mengoptimalkan perilaku kerja inovatif diperlukan
pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai faktor-faktor yang dapat memengaruhi perilaku
kerja inovatif, yang salah satunya berupa pendekatan kepemimpinan Leader-Member
Exchange (LMX). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh LMX
terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif serta menguji efektivitas intervensi N-Hancing Leader
Member Relationship yang diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan LMX dan perilaku
kerja inovatif karyawan yang berada di PT X. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah
before-after study design dengan partisipan sejumlah 35 orang karyawan PT X yang
ditempatkan pada Plant Z. Hasil survei dengan menggunakan kuesioner LMX-MDM
serta perilaku kerja inovatif menunjukkan bahwa LMX berpengaruh secara signifikan
terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan di PT X (F (1,33) = 4.56, p = .04, R2 = .12).
Selanjutnya, dilakukanlah program intervensi N-Hancing Leader Member
Relationship yang terdiri dari pelatihan Lead Their Ship beserta penugasan one on one
conversation dan leader-member work activities kepada 10 pemimpin yang ada di Plant
Z PT X selama empat pekan. Hasil pengukuran efektivitas intervensi yang dilakukan
kepada 10 bawahan yang pemimpinnya menjadi peserta intervensi menunjukkan bahwa
tidak terdapat perubahan yang signifikan baik untuk skor leader-member exchange
(Z = -.59, p = .55) maupun skor perilaku kerja inovatif (Z = -.14, p = .89) pada karyawan
di PT X dengan skor sebelumnya. Penelitian mendatang diharapkan dapat
mempertimbangkan durasi waktu pemberian intervensi beserta rentang waktu
pemantauan sehingga intervensi yang diberikan akan lebih optimal

ABSTRACT
Innovative work behavior is one of the important factors that can influence the
sustainability of an organization in the midst of competition in the industrial world.
Therefore, to be able optimizing it, one thing that needs to be done is having deep
understanding about the factors that can influence innovative work behavior, one of its
factors is Leader-Member Exchange (LMX). The aims of this study were to examine
the influence of Leader-Member Exchange on innovative work behavior and see the
effectiveness of N-Hancing Leader Member Relationship intervention which is
expected to optimize leader-member exchange and innovative work behavior of
employees at PT X. Before-after study design was used and the participants of this
study were 35 PT Xs employees who placed on Plant Z. The survey results using
LMX-MDM questionnaire and innovative work behavior scale show that leadermember
exchange significantly influenced the innovative work behavior of employees
at Plant Z, PT X (F (1,33) = 4.56, p = .04, R2 = .12). Furthermore, the intervention
program called N-Hancing Leader Member Relationship consists of lead their ship
training along with one on one conversation and leader-member work activities
assignments was implemented for 10 leaders who were at Plant Z, PT X for four weeks.
The results of the effectiveness of intervention measures conducted on 10 subordinates
whose leaders were participants in the intervention showed that there were no
significant changes for leader-member exchange scores (Z = -.59, p = .55) and
innovative work behavior scores (Z = -. 14, p = .89) to employees at PT X with the
previous score. Future research is expected to be able to consider the duration of the
intervention time and the monitoring time span so that the intervention provided will
be more optimal"

Keterlibatan karyawan adalah konsep dasar dalam upaya untuk memahami dan menggambarkan, baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif, sifat hubungan antara organisasi dan karyawannya. Penggunaan teknologi canggih telah dikenal untuk membantu meningkatkan efisiensi di banyak organisasi dan perusahaan besar. Teknologi juga meningkatkan kinerja individu karena menyediakan sumber daya tambahan untuk melaksanakan pekerjaannya. Dengan bantuan teknologi, individu dapat menyelesaikan pekerjaannya lebih cepat atau dapat melakukan lebih banyak pekerjaan dalam jumlah waktu yang sama. Di sisi lain, penggunaan teknologi dapat membawa masalah bagi individu karena rumit dan sering berubah. Tidak semua orang mahir dengan teknologi, jadi bagi sebagian orang belajar menggunakan teknologi yang ada adalah sebuah tantangan, apalagi belajar yang baru.

Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi penentu utama dari keterlibatan karyawan sebagai masalah utama dan prediktabilitasnya terhadap konsep tersebut. Ini juga mempelajari hubungan teknologi dengan keterlibatan karyawan. Studi ini menguji Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) sebagai anteseden langsung dari Keterlibatan Karyawan. Juga memeriksa hubungan Leader Member Exchange (LMX), Team Member Exchange (TMX), dan Perceived Organizational Support (POS) sebagai anteseden tidak langsung dari Keterlibatan Karyawan. Penelitian ini melibatkan pengumpulan data kuesioner dari 130 karyawan pada sebuah jaringan restoran di Jakarta. Responden diminta untuk menilai tingkat perspektif dari setiap variable tersebut.

 


Employee engagement is a fundamental concept in the effort to understand and describe, both qualitatively and quantitatively, the nature of the relationship between an organization and its employees. The use of advanced technologies has been known to help increase the efficiencies in many major organizations and firms. Technology also increases an individuals performance as it provides additional resources to carry out his or her work. With the help of technology, the individual can finish his or her work faster or can do more work in the same amount of time. On the other side, the use of technology can bring problems to the individual as it is complicated and is frequently changing. Not everybody is adept with technology, so for some people learning to use the existing technology is a challenge, let alone learning the new one.

The purpose of this paper is to identify the key determinants of employee engagement as the main issue and its predictability of the concept. It also studies the relations of technology with employee engagement. This study examines Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as direct antecedent of Employee Engagement. Also examines the relations of Leader Member Exchange (LMX), Team Member Exchange (TMX), and Perceived Organizational Support (POS) as indirect antecedents of Employee Engagement. The research involves collecting questionnaire data from 130 employees in a Restaurant Chains in Jakarta. Respondent were asked to rate their perspective level of Leader Member Exchange, Team Member Exchange, Perceived Organizational support, and Technology acceptance model."
