"Kesehatan merupakan suatu upaya yang dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah maupun seluruh komponen masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran, kemauan, dan kemampuan hidup sehat untuk setiap orang agar terwujud derajat kesehatan masyarakat yang setinggi-tingginya. Dengan memenuhi kebutuhan kesehatan masyarakat tentunya pemenuhan perbekalan mengenai obat publik dan perbekalan kesehatan merupakan hal yang utama. Dalam kesempatan Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di Direktorat Bina Obat Publik dan Perbekalan Kesehatan, Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan, Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia pada periode 17 - 28 Maret 2014, penulis dapat mendalami peran apoteker dalam pengelolaan, pengadaan, analisis harga obat dan pemantauan serta evaluasi dan juga program obat haji yang berlangsung pada direktorat ini. Tugas khusus yang dilakukan selama Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) berlangsung ialah mengkaji bimbingan teknis pengelolaan obat publik dan perbekalan kesehatan di sektor pemerintahan.

Health is an effort undertaken by the government and the entire community which aims to increase awareness, willingness and ability of healthy life for every person to manifest the degree of public health as the highest. It has been the main thing to fulfilled the needs of public health course supplies trough public medicine and medical supplies. In Apothecary Profession Internship (PKPA) at the Directorate of Public Medicine Development and Health Provisions, Directorate of Pharmaceutical Care and Medical Devices, Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia in March 17th to 28th, 2014, the author can explore the role of pharmacists in the management, procurement, pricing analysis, monitoring and evaluation steps as well as Hajj drug program that took place in this directorate. A specific tasks performed during the Apothecary Profession Internship (PKPA) was reviewing the technical guidance of management of public medicine and medical supplies in the government sector."

Pharmacists Professional Practice (PKPA) at Directorate of Public Drug And Medical Supplies aims to determine the duties and functions of the Directorate of Public Drugs and Medical Supplies and to determine the role of pharmacist in the Directorate of Public Drugs and Medical Supplies. The purpose of the special assignment is to compare the ratio of price of generic drugs in the e-Catalog and regular price in the community to the highest retail price of generic drugs that have been set by the Minister of several classes of antidiabetic drugs."

Pada Direktorat Jendral Bina kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan khususnya Direktorat Obat Publik dan perbekalan Kesehatan, Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker berlangsung pada periode 7-17 April 2014. Pada Direktorat Obat Publik dan Perbekalan Kesehatan, Mahasiswa dapat mendalami peran apoteker dalam pengelolaan, pengadaan, analisis harga obat dan pemantauan serta evaluasi dan juga program obat haji yang berllangsung pada Direktorat ini. Tugas Khusus yang diberikan selama PKPA berlangsung ialah menelaah mengenai penyimpanan obat dan perbekalan farmasi di puskesmas.

Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) dilakukan pada 15 Juli - 26 Juli 2013 di Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan terutama di Direktorat Bina Obat Publik dan Perbekalan Kesehatan agar calon apoteker memperoleh gambaran tentang peran dan tugas apoteker mengenai pelayanan kefarmasian yang terkait dengan pemerataan, ketersediaan dan keterjangkauan obat dan perbekalan kesehatan.

The Strategic Plan of Ministry of Health in 2010 - 2014 is mandating Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices programs to improve the availability, equity, and affordability of medicines and medical devices as well as to ensure the safety or efficacy, usefulness, and quality of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and food. The Ministry of Health through the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices has targeted to increase pharmaceutical preparations and health tools that meet the standards and are affordable. Pharmacists Internship Program (PIP) was conducted on July 16 to July 26, 2013 at the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices, especially at the Directorate of Public Medicines and Health Products, for pharmacist to gain an overview of the role and duties of pharmacists about pharmacy services related to equity, availability and affordability of medicines and medical supplies."

Tugas khusus yang diberikan dengan judul "Kegiatan Vigilance dan Pengawasan Iklan Sub Direktorat Inspeksi Alat Kesehatan dan PKRT, Direktorat Bina Produksi dan Distribusi Alat Kesehatan" bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui kegiatan, masalah yang terjadi, dan solusi terkait dengan kegiatan vigilance dan pengawasan iklan yang dilakukan oleh Sub Direktorat Inspeksi Alat Kesehatan dan PKRT.

Tujuan dari tugas khusus adalah untuk mengkaji dan memahami proses pengelolaan obat di puskesmas, serta mengkaji dan memahami perbedaan proses pengelolaan obat di puskesmas setelah program SJSN diberlakukan.
