"Salah satu konsumen televisi yang rentan akan pengaruh negatif dari tayangan televisi adalah anak-anak. Sebuah stasiun televisi di Indonesia, yaitu SCTV menayangkan salah satu program sinetron anak, berjudul Si Biang Kerok Cilik,yang ditayangkan pada jam prime time. Penelitian ini kemudian melihat bahwa Si Biang Kerok Cilik akan memicu perilaku agresif anak ketika mereka menontonnya. Dengan menggunakan teori belajar sosial dari Albert Bandura,mengatakan bahwa perilaku agresif dapat dipelajari anak melalui proses belajar meniru yang dilihatnya dari tayangan dalam televisi, dengan empat proses di dalamnya yaitu proses perhatian, pengingatan, pembentukan prilaku dan penguatan dari tayangan televisi yang dapat memicu prilaku agresif. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan 189 anak dari dua sekolah dasar yang diberikan alat ukur kuisioner, kemudian hasil analisa uji t, korelasi dan regresi penelitian ini menemukan bahwa adanya pengaruh dari menonton Si Biang Kerok Cilik terhadap anak, meskipun pengaruh dari menonton televisi terhadap perilaku agresif memiliki persentase yang kecil.Television consumers who are vulnerable to get negative effects of television are children. One of television station in Indonesia, SCTV, have soap operas children,entitled ?Si Biang Kerok Cilik? which aired at prime time. The study with quantiative method adresses the question ? How viewing soap operas ?Si Biang Kerok Cilik influence children being aggressive?. Using the social learning theory of Albert Bandura, said that aggressive behavior can be learned through the child?s learning process imitation from television show, with four processes: the processes of attention, retention, behavioral production, and motivational, of the television shows can trigger aggressive behavior. Sample of this research are 189 children from two elementary school given questionnaires measuring instrument,then the results of t-test analysis, correlation, and regression, found that watching Si Biang Kerok Cilik influence children, although the effect of watching television on aggressive behavior has small percentage."
