Musik indi populer di kalangan anak muda karena liriknya mengisahkan cerita yang banyak dialami oleh anak muda. Krisis seperempat abad adalah fenomena yang umumnya dialami oleh individu di usia dewasa awal. Penelitian ini akan membahas bagaimana krisis seperempat abad direpresentasikan dalam lagu karya Jannabi dan Okdal. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan semiotika untuk menggali lebih dalam maksud dari tanda dalam lagu yang diteliti. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan langkah mengumpulkan data, kemudian makna yang ditemukan dianalisis menggunakan konsep krisis seperempat abad, lalu ditarik simpulannya berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan. Music, a part of many people's daily lives has a function as a medium of self-expression. Indie music is popular among young people because the lyrics tell stories that many young people can relate to. Quarter life crisis is a phenomenon commonly experienced by individuals in early adulthood. This research discusses how quarter life crisis is depicted in Jannabi's and Okdal's songs. The researcher uses a qualitative research method with a semiotic approach to dig deeper into the meaning of the signs in the songs to be studied. This research is conducted by collecting data, then the meaning found is analyzed by using the concept of the quarter life crisis. Then, conclusions are drawn based on the data analysis that has been done. The results found that Jannabi's and Okdal's songs represents quarter life crisis through locked-in and locked-out types."
