Analisis dilakukan melalui dua tahap: (1) analisis pada kebijakan luar negeri yang berfokus pada hasil kebijakan luar negeri, (2) analisis yang menjelaskan hasil kebijakan luar negeri pada empat aspek identitas kolektif: ketergantungan, kesenasiban, keseragaman, dan ketahanan diri. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kebijakan Trust Building Process Korea Selatan dan kebijakan denuklirisasi Amerika Serikat serta Tiongkok terhadap Korea Utara mempunyai pengaruh pada identitas kolektif Korea Selatan.

This study focuses on the impact of foreign policies toward a state?s collective identity. The study was conducted by implementing a case study design which used international relation in Korea peninsula as the main case. The data of the study was analyzed in two phases: first, analysis focused on the outcomes of South Korea's, China?s, and the U.S.? foreign policies and, second, analysis on the results of the foreign policies in four aspects of collective identity, which are interdependence, common fate, homogeneity, and self-restrain. Eventually, the study concludes that South Korea's Trust Building Process policy, as well as the U.S.? and China?s denuclearization policy toward North Korea had an influence on South Korea?s collective identity."

"Reinkarnasi adalah salah satu konsep dalam kebudayaan Korea yang sering diangkat menjadi tema dalam drama selama beberapa tahun terakhir. Konsep reinkarnasi telah dipercaya oleh sebagian besar masyarakat Korea sejak masa Kerajaan Goguryeo hingga saat ini. Penelitian mengangkat drama dengan tema reinkarnasi berjudul Death Game sebagai objek penelitian. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk memaparkan konsep reinkarnasi yang dialami oleh tokoh utama Choi Yi Jae dengan memperhatikan perubahan sikap tokoh utama setelah reinkarnasi. Tokoh utama dalam drama mengalami reinkarnasi dengan cara yang berbeda dengan penggambaran reinkarnasi lainnya. Choi Yi Jae mengalami reinkarnasi sebanyak 12 kali yang berujung pada kematian sebagai bentuk hukuman atas penghinaannya terhadap kematian. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa reinkarnasi yang dialami tokoh Choi Yi Jae bertujuan untuk menebus karma buruk dari tindakan bunuh diri dan penghinaannya terhadap kematian. Penggambaran reinkarnasi dalam drama mengandung unsur Buddhisme dan perspektif modern. Melalui penggambaran proses reinkarnasi yang dialami oleh Choi Yi Jae, pengarang menyampaikan pesan bahwa bunuh diri adalah tindakan egois yang meninggalkan rasa bersalah, kesedihan, dan penderitaan mendalam bagi keluarga.

Reincarnation is a concept in Korean culture that has frequently been featured as a theme in dramas over the past several years. The concept of reincarnation has been widely believed by the Korean people from the Goguryeo Kingdom era to the present day. This study examines a reincarnation-themed drama titled “Death Game” as its object of analysis. The research aims to explore the concept of reincarnation experienced by the main character, Choi Yi Jae, focusing on the changes in the protagonist's attitude after undergoing reincarnation. The main character in the drama undergoes reincarnation in a way that differs from other portrayals of reincarnation. Choi Yi Jae experiences twelve cycles of reincarnation, each ending in death, as a punishment for his contempt toward death. The study found that the reincarnation experienced by Choi Yi Jae serves as a means of atoning for his bad karma resulting from suicide and his disdain for death. Furthermore, the depiction of reincarnation in the drama contains elements of Buddhism and a modern perspective. Through the portrayal of the reincarnation process experienced by Choi Yi Jae, the author conveys the message that suicide is a selfish act that leaves behind guilt, sorrow, and profound suffering for the family left behind."
