"This book summarizes the current knowledge of software testing and introduces three current research approaches. The base of knowledge is presented comprehensively in scope but concise in length; thereby the volume can be used as a reference. Research is highlighted from different points of view. Firstly, progress on developing a tool for automated test case generation (TCG) based on a program’s structure is introduced. Secondly, results from a project with industry partners on testing best practices are highlighted. Thirdly, embedding testing into e-assessment of programming exercises is described."

"Software Product Line Engineering (SPLE) adalah sebuah pendekatan pengembangan beberapa perangkat lunak yang bisa digolongkan ke dalam satu kelompok atau keluarga yang sama berdasarkan berbagai commonality dan variability keluarga tersebut. Salah satu framework pengembangan berbasis SPLE ini adalah WinVMJ yang dibangun berdasarkan pola arsitektur Variability Modules for Java (VMJ). WinVMJ sudah bisa digunakan untuk pengembangan perangkat lunak berbasis SPLE, namun masih ada beberapa kekurangan yang bisa diperbaiki atau di-refactor untuk menjadikan WinVMJ sebagai framework yang lebih stabil. Hal-hal yang kurang optimal ini terkait dengan pengelolaan request-response yang kurang lengkap, pembaharuan jenis database yang digunakan dan juga pemodelan entitas di dalam database tersebut. Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk memberikan pembaharuan dan perbaikan WinVMJ, termasuk library yang mendukung framework tersebut. Kekurangan-kekurangan tersebut dicari dengan melakukan percobaan atau testing pada produk yang memiliki fitur-fitur yang berpotensi memiliki kekurangan, dan jika memang ditemukan, kekurangan tersebut dicatat dan diperbaiki. Penelitian ini pada akhirnya berhasil menghasilkan versi baru WinVMJ yang sudah memiliki banyak fitur yang diperbaiki atau diperbaharui. WinVMJ versi terbaru yang dihasilkan penelitian ini dievaluasi dengan melakukan penambahan modul fitur yang berupa sebuah varian dari fitur yang sudah ada, membangun produk baru, membandingkan jumlah berkas dan baris kode yang perlu diubah untuk menambah modul fitur maupun produk dengan framework Spring Boot, dan membandingkannya dengan versi WinVMJ yang lama. Penelitian ini dan juga hasilnya diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi kepada bidang pengembangan perangkat lunak, terutama SPLE.

Software Product Line Engineering (SPLE) is a software engineering approach to build several softwares that can be categorized within the same group or family based on their commonalities and variabilities. One framework that allows for SPLE engineering is WinVMJ which is built upon the Variability Modules for Java (VMJ) architectural pattern. WinVMJ itself is able to be used for SPLE based development, however there are still several issues that can be fixed or refactored to make WinVMJ a more stable framework. Some of these issues include a request-response system that isn’t complete, updating the type of database used and also the modelling of entities inside the database itself. Thus, this research is dedicated to fixing and improving WinVMJ, including the supporting libraries. The issues themselves are found by doing tests on products with features that can potentially be repaired, and if the features indeed do have issues, these issues are immediately written down and worked upon. This research is able to create a new version of WinVMJ that also has less issues than the previous one. This latest version of WinVMJ is evaluated by adding a new feature module based on an existing one, building and generating a new product, comparing itself to the Spring Boot framework in terms of number of files and lines of code changed when implementing a new feature module or product, and comparing the latest version of WinVMJ against the previous one. This research and its’ results can hopefully give a meaningful contribution towards the field of software development, especially SPLE."

"Mahasiswa perlu berkonsultasi mengenai masalah mereka seperti tugas akhir, masalah akademik, atau masalah pribadi kepada dosen mereka. Proses konsultasi ini dibantu oleh staf administrasi yang membuat proses relatif lambat karena beban kerja yang tinggi dari staf. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengatasi masalah ini dengan menciptakan sistem informasi berbasis intranet untuk mengurangi peran staf administrasi. Sistem ini menyediakan beberapa fitur seperti menjadwalkan konsultasi rutin oleh dosen, jadwal konsultasi Selain oleh dosen, membatalkan konsultasi dijadwalkan, mengubah jadwal konsultasi dengan dosen, mendaftar untuk konsultasi oleh siswa, merekam pelaksanaan konsultasi dengan dosen, dan laporan. Perangkat lunak konsultasi diterapkan di departemen Teknik Informatika, Universitas ?X? selama satu bulan. Setelah satu bulan, tes dilakukan melibatkan lima dosen dan dua puluh siswa. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa proses konsultasi menjadi lebih efisien, efektif dan memuaskan.

AbstractStudents need to consult their problem such as final projects, academic problem, or personal problems to their lecturers. This consultation?s processes are helped by administrative staffs that make the processes relatively slow due to the high workload of the staffs. Therefore, this research tries to address this problem by creating intranet based information system to reduce the role of administrative staffs. This system provide several features such as schedule the regular consultation by lecturers, schedule the addition consultation by lecturers, cancel a scheduled consultations, change the schedule of consultations by lecturers, register for consultation by students, record the implementation consulting by lecturers, and reports. The consultation software was implemented at Informatics Engineering department, University ?X? for one month. After one month, a test was conducted involving five lecturers and twenty students. Testing result showed that the consultation process becomes more efficient, effective and satisfying. "

"Tesis ini membahas tentang efektivitas program pelatihan komunikasi efektif untuk meningkatkan perceived organizational support dan motivasi kerja karyawan di PT. XYZ yang bergerak dibidang jasa keamanan. Saat ini kinerja perusahaan dirasa tidak optimal akibat rendahnya motivasi kerja dan perceived organizational support yang kurang efektif terkait masalah komunikasi. Tipe penelitian yang dipakai adalah action research pada 23 partisipan Alat ukur perceived organizational support merupakan adaptasi dari Survey of Perceived Organizational Support (Eisenberger,1986) dengan nilai koefisien alpha (α) sebesar 0,833. Sedangkan pengukuran motivasi kerja, menggunakan adaptasi dari Motivation Survey (Moore, 2007) dengan nilai koefisien alpha (α) sebesar 0,843. Hasil uji korelasi Pearson Correlation menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara perceived organizataional support dan motivasi kerja (r = 0,584) signifikansi 0,000 (p>0,05). Sementara hasil uji Paired Sample T-test menunjukkan peningkatan mean perceived organizational support mupun motivasi kerja sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dengan nilai signifikansi 0,517 (p>0,05) dan 0,625 (p>0,05). Dengan demikian tampak bahwa perbedaaan tersebut tidak signifikan. Untuk itu perusahaan perlu melakukan program pengembangan lanjutan yang dapat mendukung intervensi pelatihan komunikasi efektif yang sudah dilakukan.

This thesis is discuss about effectiveness of communication effective training for increasing perceived organizational support and employee motivation in the PT. XYZ, the security service company. Thus, is action research with the participation of as many as 23 participants. Perceived organizational support measurement was adapted of Survey of Perceived Organizational Support (Eisenberger, 1986) with coefficient alpha (α) of 0.833.To measure employee motivation, Motivation Survey (Moore, 2007) with the value of coefficient alpha (α) of 0.843 was adapted.

Pearson Correlation test results showed a significant relationship between perceived organizational support and emlpoyee motivation (r=0.584) with 0.000 significance (p> 0.05). Results of Paired Sample T-test showed differences in scores before and after the intervention on perceived organizational support to the significance of .517 (p> 0.05) and the motivation to work with a significance value of 0.625 significance (p> 0.05). The result show that the mean difference was not sognifikan. Therefore, this company need to do other development program to support interventions that have been done."
