"Mobile learning (m-learning) memungkinkan pengaksesan materi elektronic learning (e-learning) melalui perangkat mobile. Hal yang penting untuk dipertimbangkan adalah adanya kemampuan adaptasi presentasi aplikasi Web yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan perangkat yang digunakan oleh client. Tesis ini membahas tentang perancangan dan implementasi m-learning yang adaptive terhadap perangkat client, serta analisa terhadap unjuk kerja aplikasi. Salah satu teknik adaptasi yang dapat dilakukan di server adalah teknik transformasi, yaitu adaptasi yang melibatkan konversi dari suatu markup language ke markup language lainnya. Teknologi eXtensible Markup Language (XML) yang menerapkan pemisahan antara data dengan presentasinya memberikan kemudahan untuk melakukan teknik adaptasi dengan transformasi ini. Keuntungan teknologi XML adalah pengelolaan situs Web yang lebih efisien, karena hanya diperlukan satu format data untuk sebuah konten. Tampilan yang sesuai dengan kapabilitas perangkat dihasilkan oleh stylesheet yang spesifik untuk setiap perangkat (single pipeline). Pembangunan aplikasi ini menggunakan perangkat lunak open source.

"Dewasa ini, pembelajaran menggunakan metode Mobile Learning telah menjadi alternatif yang seringkali dipilih oleh berbagai praktisi pendidikan di seluruh dunia karena fleksibilitas yang ditawarkan, antara lain melalui penggunaan podcast. Podcast dapat diartikan sebagai sebuah rangkaian data yang berbentuk audio dan/atau video yang dapat diakses melalui internet pada sebuah media elektronik. Tulisan ini akan membahas tentang penerapan media podcast sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis komparatif yang membandingkan beberapa penelitian yang membahas topik serupa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun memiliki dampak positif, efektivitas podcast terletak pada kemampuannya untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran di kelas, bukan sebagai media pembelajaran utama. Selain itu, hambatan yang terjadi dalam penggunaan podcast dapat dilihat dari buruknya pemanfaatan media, masalah konektivitas, hingga perbedaan dalam ekspektasi, kebutuhan, dan preferensi calon pengguna podcast dengan kesesuaian materi yang disediakan.

Mobile Learning methods with the flexibility it offers, have become a favorable choice of the various education practitioners nowadays. Among others, through the use of podcasts. Podcasts are defined as a series of data in the form of audio, video, or audio-video, and are accessible to an electronic device with internet. This paper focuses on examining the application of podcasts as an alternative learning media in the world of education, particularly for students. Several studies with similar topics are analyzed using the comparative analysis method in this research. The results, however, showed that despite having positive impacts, the effectiveness of the podcast lies not as main learning media, but as a supporting tool in the classroom. Moreover, limitations that befall its use can include poor media practices, connectivity problems, to the disparity in expectations, needs, and preferences of prospective podcast users with the suitability of the material provided."

Namun jumlah ulasan yang sangat banyak menyulitkan untuk mencari dan memahami informasi yang terkandung pada teks ulasan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut pada penelitian ini mengusulkan model yang dapat menggali informasi serta mengkategorikan konten dan sentimen ulasan dengan menggunakan teknik pembelajaran mesin. Algoritme SentiStrength, Support Vector Machine SVM , Na ve Bayes, Logistic Regresion, Latent Dirichlet Allocation LDA dan Non-negative Matrix Factorization NMF digunakan pada penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan rerata presisi sentimen ulasan mencapai 85 dan algoritme terbaik untuk klasifikasi konten ulasan didapatkan menggunakan SVM dengan nilai rerata f1-score 84.38 menggunakan fitur unigram sedangkan NMF berkerja lebih baik daripada LDA untuk menemukan topik pada teks ulasan.

The popularity of smartphones and mobile applications makes app downloads and users of applications rises exponentially. Users can provide reviews related to their experience during using the app, these reviews may contain valuable complaints or suggestions which can be used for further in depth review based on the reviews given before. However, the large number volume of the reviews can make it very difficult to find and understand the information contained in a review. To solve the problem in this study proposes a model that can diging information by categorizing the content and sentiment reviews using machine learning technique. The algorithm SentiStrength, Support Vector Machine SVM , Na ve Bayes, Logistic Regression, Latent Dirichlet Allocation LDA and Non-negative Matrix Factorization NMF are used in this study. The result of the research shows that the average sentiment precision of review is 85 and the best algorithm for the review content classification is obtained using SVM with an average f1-score 84.38 using unigram feature whereas the NMF works better than LDA to find topics in a reviews."

"ABSTRACTPenelitian ini bertujuan memahami keterkaitan antar variabel di dalam penerimaan terhadap teknologi mobile learning menggunakan model teori TAM. Persepsi aksesibilitas informasi IA hendak diuji efeknya terhadap niat menggunakan BI dengan dimediasi oleh persepsi kemudahan PEU dan persepsi kegunaan PU penggunaan teknologi mobile learning pada 160 siswa SMA di Jabodetabek. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan PROCESS Macro model 6, untuk mediasi serial majemuk, untuk mengetahui efek langsung, efek mediasi, dan efek total dari IA terhadap BI. Hasil analisis menunjukkan total efek IA ke BI yang didapatkan adalah signifikan c = 1.51, p < 0.001, tetapi efek mediasi yang signifikan ab = 0.81, CI [0.2997, 1.4016] berkontribusi melebihi efek langsung yang tidak signifikan c = 0.70, p = 0123. Penemuan lain juga menyarankan bahwa posisi PEU dan PU sebagai prediktor dipertahankan dan TAM valid untuk digunakan di Indonesia.

ABSTRACTThe present study aimed to understand the linkage between variables, within the context of acceptance towards mobile learning, using the technology acceptance model theory framework. Perceived informational technology was to be tested for its effects on behavioral intention to use mobile learning technology through the mediation role of perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness in 160 high school students in Jabodetabek. Data analysis was done by using PROCESS Macro model 6 for serial multuple mediation to investigate the direct effect, mediated effect, and total effect, of IA towards BI. The analysis results show that the acquired total effect of IA towards BI is significant c 1.51, p 0.001, but the significant mediated effect ab 0.81, CI 0.2997, 1.4016 contributes more than the insignificant direct effect c 0.70, p 0123. Other findings also suggest that the positions of PEU and PU as predictors for the TAM are retained and TAM is valid for use in Indonesia.
