"Sejak perkembangan zaman pada abad ke-21, ilmu Hubungan Internasional merupakan ilmu yang bersifat multidisiplin; terdapat berbagai isu 'non-tradisional' yang dapat dikaji dan mendapatkan ruang pembahasan. Salah satu di antaranya adalah praktik olahraga yang secara hakikatnya telah memiliki berbagai signifikansi, bahkan sejak awal narasi kemunculannya dalam tataran domestik. Sementara itu, kemunculan Olimpiade modern pada tahun 1896 dan Piala Dunia pada tahun 1930 merupakan tonggak terjadinya proses internasionalisasi olahraga. Semenjak kedua peristiwa tersebut, olahraga berkembang dengan pesat sebagai salah satu fenomena penting dalam globalisasi, terlebih dengan perkembangan media serta semakin beragamnya kepentingan aktor-aktor internasional. Berdasarkan narasi tersebut, Tugas Karya Akhir ini mencoba untuk mengkaji melalui pemetaan-pemetaan bagaimana olahraga mengalami transformasi beserta implikasinya selama proses globalisasi. Merujuk kepada pendekatan-pendekatan yang dipelajari, penulis akan membagi pemetaan tersebut ke dalam dua pembahasan : [1]. Pemetaan berdasarkan isu-isu ekonomi internasional, dan [2]. Pemetaan berdasarkan isu-isu kebudayaan dan identitas (masyarakat transnasional).

Since the beginning of the 21th Century, international relations is a multidisciplinary field of study; as there are various 'non-traditional' issues to be discussed and learned. Among those is a practice of sport which its significance can be traced even since its emergence as a domestic phenomenon. The emergence of Modern Olympics in 1896 and Football World Cup in 1930 is a momentum in the process of internationalization of sport. Since then, sport has developed as a major phenomenon in the process of globalization, especially with the development of the media sector and the diversifying interests of international actors. Based on these narratives, this final paper aims to explore and depict how sport undergo the process of transformation and its implications within the process of globalization. There are two approaches of mapping that will be used : [1]. Its economic significance and [2]. Its social and cultural significance."

"Makalah ini membahas isu-isu gender dalam film karya Clint Eastwood berjudul Million Dollar Baby yang berkisah tentang Maggie Fitzgerald, seorang petinju perempuan dari kalanganan menengah ke bawah. Ketika Maggie memasuki dunia olahraga, ia didominasi dan mengalami diskriminasi oleh pria karena alasan gender. Pembentukan sistematis gender yang membedakan dunia pria dan wanita menyebabkan ketimpangan gender. Sejak dahulu terdapat stereotip yang mengatakan bahwa olahraga identik dengan pria. Namun, beberapa feminis percaya bahwa stereotip tersebut harus diubah. Feminis berpikir bahwa perempuan juga memiliki hak untuk berpartisipasi dalam setiap jenis olahraga termasuk olahraga ekstrim seperti tinju, angkat besi, atau sepak bola, yang biasanya dilakukan oleh pria. Saat ini, jumlah partisipasi wanita dalam dunia olahraga terus meningkat. Sebagai sebuah film tentang partisipasi wanita dalam dunia olahraga, Million Dollar Baby menampilkan semua tokoh perempuan secara negatif dan tidak ideal bagi wanita dalam kehidupan nyata. Makalah ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun dunia olahraga telah menjadi lebih terbuka bagi wanita, dominasi pria masih tetap dirasakan.

This paper examines gender issues in a film directed by Clint Eastwood entitled Million Dollar Baby which revolves around the story of Maggie Fitzgerald, a poor female boxer. When participating in sports, she was dominated and discriminated by men due to her gender. The construction of gender which systematically differentiates the world of men and women leads to gender inequity. Since long ago, stereotypically, sport is considered as men’s domain. However, some feminists believe that kind of stereotype should be changed. They think that women also have rights to be involved and to participate in any kind of sport including the extreme ones such as boxing, weightlifting, or football, which usually are practiced by men. Nowadays, the number of women’s participation in sports has been increasing. As a film about women’s participation in sports, Million Dollar Baby does not portray all of the women characters’ in a positive way. All of the women characters in the film represent unappealing life options for women in real life. The paper concludes that even though sport has become more available to women, the domination of men still cannot be erased."

"Skripsi ini membahas analisis sistem pembinaan olahraga prestasi oleh Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori pilar dalam pembinaan olahraga prestasi yang dikemukakan oleh De Bosscher, terdiri dari 10 pilar antara lain Dukungan Finansial; Struktur Kebijakan dan Organisasi Olahraga Terpadu, Pemassalan dan Pembibitan, Pembinaan Prestasi: Identifikasi dan Pengembangan Bakat, Pembinaan Prestasi Kelompok Elit: Sistem Penghargaan dan Dukungan Pada Masa Pascakarier, Infrastruktur Olahraga: Fasilitas Latihan, Penyediaan Pelatih, Pembinaan dan Mutu Training, Kualitas Kompetisi, Penelitian Ilmiah, serta Lingkungan Media dan Sponsorship. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian post-positivist, dengan tujuan deskriptif melalui teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan pengambilan data dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem pembinaan olahraga prestasi di DKI Jakarta belum cukup baik. Hal ini disebabkan oleh tercapainya 3 indikator dari 10 pilar, antara lain dukungan finansial, pemassalan, dan fasilitas olahraga. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa diperlukan adanya dukungan pemerintah dalam mengalakan program olahraga di masyarakat; optimalisasi IPTEK dalam pembibitan calon atlet olahraga di Jakarta; pengembangan bakat yang inovatif; adanya tambahan pendidikan dan pelatihan keterampilan khusus bagi para pelatih olahraga; pemberian sistem dukungan; serta kerjasama antara Pemerintah dengan pihak swasta dalam keterlibatannya sebagai sponsor

This thesis examine the analysis of the system for fostering sports achievements by Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga DKI Jakarta. This research used The Pillar Theory in The Development of Sports Achievements presented by De Bosscher, consisting of 10 pillars including Financial Support; Governance, Organisation and Structure of Sport Policies; Foundation and Participation; Talent Development and Talent Identification System; Elite Group Achievement Development: Reward and Support Systems in the Post Career Period; Training Facilities; Coaching Provision and Sport Development; International Competition; Scientific: Research and Innovation; Also Elite Sport Environment Media and Sponsoring. The research used post-positivist method research, with descriptive objectives and the data were collected by means of deep interviews and documentation. The result of this research indicate that the performance training system in DKI Jakarta is not good enough. This is caused by the achievement of 3 indicators from 10 pillars, including financial support, foundation, and training facilities. The research suggest that the importance of government programs in running sports programs in the community; optimization of science and technology in the nursery of prospective sports athletes in Jakarta; innovative talent development; additional training specifically for sports coaches; providing support systems; and cooperation between the Government and the private sector in its involvement as a sponsor for sports coaching."

"Olahraga merupakan salah satu aktivitas yang banyak digemari oleh banyak kalangan di seluruh dunia, dari anak kecii sampai lansia. Sehingga olahraga dapat dijadikan tempat hiburan Untuk masyrakat, dari berolahraga bersama komunitas sampai menonton event-event olahraga. Namun industri olahraga masih memiliki beberapa hambatan-hambatan, misalnya pada minimnya pendanaan ataupun sponsorship kepada olahraga di Indonesia. Terlebih pada masa sekarang ini olahraga merupakan salah satu industri yang sangat berkembang di dunia dan industri olahraga dapat memajukan ekonomi dan nama suatu negara. Namun, walaupun sebuah perusahaan memberikan sponsorship kepada olahraga di indonesia, tetap harus dikenakan pajak dan tidak dapat luput atau lepas dari pajak. Sehingga salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan insentif pajak kepada perusahaan yang memberikan sponsorhip berupa Corporate Social Responsibility atau Promosi kepada olahraga di indonesia.

Sport is one activity that is popular with many people around the world, from young children to the elderly. So that sports can be used as a place of entertainment For the community, from exercising with comics to watching sports events. However, the sports industry still has several obstacles, for example the lack of funding or sponsorship for sports in Indonesia. Especially at this time sport is one of the most developed industries in the world and the sports industry can advance the economy and the name of a country. However, even if a company provides sponsorship for sports in Indonesia, it must still be taxed and cannot be exempted from tax. So that one effort that can be done is to provide tax incentives to companies that provide sponsorship in the form of Corporate Social Responsibility or Promotion to sports in Indonesia. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to analyze and find ways to provide tax incentives to companies that provide sponsorship in the form of Corporate Social Responsibility or Promotion to sports in Indonesia."
