"Isu tentang pemanasan global dan hubungannya dengan desain ramah lingkungan desain berkelanjutan telah menjadi perdebatan hangat terlebih untuk mengahadapi tahun 2050 Salah satu kota di Australia. Brisbane telah menyiapkan program pembaharuan kota bukan hanya untuk mengatasi permasalahan ruang kota tetapi juga untuk masa depan yang cerah untuk hidup di perkotaan. Brisbane disinyalir akan memiliki peningkatan jumlah orang pada tahun 2050 yang mengarah ke beberapa kelangkaan salah satu yang paling menjadi perhatian adalah pengadaan air bersih. Desain solusi yang diusulkan merupakan hasil dari eksplorasi masa depan kehidupan Brisbane 2050. Ide bangunan ramah lingkungan berkelanjutan diyakini tidak hanya menyediakan ruang untuk hidup manusia tetapi juga sebagai produksi energi yang berguna untuk menunjang kehidupan manusia. Pertimbangan manusia dan lingkungan membuat tiga fungsi utama bangunan yaitu pertanian vertikal perumahan dan kawasan komersial bersatu sebagai Apartemen Menara Air.

The issue of climate changing and sustainable design has been a hot issue, especially to face a future challenge, as year 2050. Brisbane has prepared an urban renewal program to not not only solving the urban space matter, but also giving the bright future for urban living. Brisbane is expected to have an increasing amount of people by 2050 which leads into some scarcity, one of the most concern one is fresh water.

The design is the result of the exploration of future Brisbane life 2050, proposing an idea of sustainable building which believed not only provide space for human living, but also as energy production which useful for supporting the life of human being. Consideration of human being and the environment, make the three main functions of the building, which are vertical farm, residential and commercial area, united together as a Water Tower Skyscraper. "

"Pada tahun 2050, sebagai respon dari efek pemanasan global dan tingginya tingkat populasi di era tersebut, arsitek dipercaya tidak hanya akan menyelesaikan masalah ruang urban, tetepi juga dipercaya dalam memberikan solusi dan masa depan yang cerah untuk kehidupan manusia. Sebagai salah satu kota berkembang di Australia, jumlah populasi di Brisbane akan meningkat pesat di tahun 2050, dua kali dari populasi sekarang. Sedangkan lahan dan energi yang tersedia sangat terbatas dan akan menjadi tidak seimbang dengan permintaan dari pasar.Design yang dikembangkan merupakan hasil dari eksplorasi kehidupan kota Brisbane di tahun 2050, dimana ide akan bangunan yang sustainable yang dipercaya tidak hanya mendukung di sisi ruangan untuk kehidupan manusia, tapi juga memberikan ide baru dimana bangunan dapat menghasilkan energi sendiri untuk mendukung kelangsungan hidup manusia yang mendiaminya. Bangunan yang dihasilkan juga mempertimbangkan segi lahan yang tersedia, sehingga bangunan tersebut memiliki tiga fungsi utama, yaitu Vertical Farming sebagai tower penghasil energi, residential dan area komersil yang bersatu menghasilkan ruang berprivasi tetapi tetap menyatu dan berkolaborasi satu dengan yang lainnya sebagai Tower Pengolahan dan Penghasil Energi.

As the issue of world 2050, due to the responses of the global warming effect, compared with the population growth, architects are believed not only solving the urban space matter, but also giving the bright future for urban living.
