"[ABSTRAK
Nyeri pada anak kanker berdampak jangka panjang dan jangka pendek. Sebagian
besar orang tua tidak mengetahui cara mengkaji nyeri pada anak dan belum
menggunakan skala nyeri yang sesuai dengan usia anak untuk mengukur nyeri.
Pendidikan kesehatan tentang manajemen nyeri yang diberikan kepada pasien
belum terstruktur sehingga informasi yang diberikan tidak optimal. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak intervensi edukasi terhadap
pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan orang tua dalam mengelola nyeri pada anak
dengan kanker. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan one
grup pre test post test. Sampel berjumlah 29 orang di RSAB Harapan kita dan
RSPAD Gatot Soebroto yang diambil secara consecutive sampling. Analisis data
menggunakan McNemar dan Uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam aspek pengetahuan, sikap dan
keterampilan orang tua dalam mengelola nyeri pada anak sebelum dan sesudah
pendidikan kesehatan (pengetahuan, p=0,001; Sikap, p=0,001 dan keterampilan,
p<0,001). Karakteristik orang tua yang berhubungan dengan pengetahuan dan
sikap adalah pengalaman manajemen nyeri. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini
adalah pendidikan kesehatan tentang mengelola nyeri pada anak sebaiknya
dilakukan secara intensif.

Pengalaman Orang Tua dalam Mengelola Nyeri Anak Kanker yang Menjalani Perawatan Paliatif Nyeri yang dirasakan anak dapat memengaruhi tumbuh kembang anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pengalaman ibu dalam mengelola nyeri yang dirasakan anak kanker yang menjalani perawatan paliatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dekskriptif fenomenologi. Pengambilan data melalui wawancara pada orang tua yang memiliki anak dengan diagnosis kanker dimana terdapat 8 partisipan di wilayah Jakarta, Bekasi dan Tangerang yang diambil dengan cara Snowball. Data dikumpulkan melalui in deph interview pada setiap partisipan, sampai data mengalami saturasi. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode analisis collaizi Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi 8 tema yaitu 1 Dimensi nyeri anak dengan perawatan paliatif, 2 Respon psikologi dan fisik ibu, 3 Respon emosional ibu, 4 Hambatan ibu dalam mengatasi nyeri, 5 . Tindakan ibu dalam mengurangi nyeri, 6 Upaya ibu dalam mengalihkan nyeri, 7 . Memberikan penguatan pada anak saat nyeri dan 8 Usaha dan doa untuk menyenangkan anak. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah nyeri merupakan keluhan yang berdampak pada stres yang dialami ibu yang dapat memengaruhi kehidupan ibu dan anak. Perawat perlu memberikan informasi serta perawatan yang efektif pada anak dan orang tua yang mengalami nyeri kanker. Kata kunciKanker, Nyeri, Anak, perawatan Paliatif.

ABSTRACT
Parents voice in managing the pain in children with cancer treated for palliative care Pain experienced by children can adversely affect their growth and development. Paint is a major healt problem for cancer patients and remains an unresolved problem. The study aims to know how the experiences of mothers managing their children rsquo s pain during palliative care following cancer diagnosis. Using qualitative methods within a descriptive phenomenological approach, in depth interviews were conducted with parents mostly mothers of eight children diagnosed with cancer. The data were collected using the snowball sampling method. Analysis of the results identified eight themes 1 The dimensions of pain experienced by children undergoing palliative care 2 Mothers rsquo physical and psychological responses 3 Mothers rsquo emotional responses 4 Barriers encountered by mothers when taking care of their child at home 5 Mothers rsquo interventions to reduce their child rsquo s pain 6 Mothers rsquo efforts to distract their child from pain 7 Giving encouragement when the child is in pain and 8 Mothers rsquo efforts and prayers to make their child comfort. It can be concluded that the child rsquo s pain is the main cause of mothers rsquo stress and pressure and also affects the daily lives of mothers and children. "Pengkajian yang tidak akurat dan penanganan nyeri yang tidak adekuat dapat berakibat pada terapi dan kualitas hidup anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan pengetahuan, sikap perawat dengan pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan masalah nyeri pada anak kanker. Desain yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Cara pengambilan sampel adalah accidental sampling technic pada 41 perawat. Analisis data dengan chi square dan regresi logistik.
Hasilnya menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pendidikan dengan pengetahuan perawat (p=0,031), variabel pelatihan manajemen nyeri dengan sikap perawat (p=0,022), dan variabel usia dengan pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan masalah nyeri (p=0,017) pada kelompok pendidikan vokasional. Selain itu, tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan, sikap perawat dengan pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan masalah nyeri (p>0,005).
Hasil analisis regresi logistik didapatkan perawat yang berusia ≤ 29 tahun dan telah mendapatkan pelatihan manajemen nyeri mampu melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan masalah nyeri lebih baik. Rekomendasi: Rumah sakit mengadakan pelatihan manajemen nyeri dasar dan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan masalah nyeri.

Underassessment and inadequate pain management affected treatment process and the children's quality of life. This research aim to identify the association among nurse's knowledge, attitude and the nursing care for pain problem in children with cancer. Research design was analysis correlation with cross sectional approach. The samples consist of 41 nurses determined by accidental sampling technic. Data was analyzed by chi square and logistic regression.
The result found that there was significant association between education level and nurse's knowledge (p=0,031), between pain management training and nurse?s attitude (p=0,022) and between age and nursing care for pain problem in nursing vocational group (p=0,017). Furthermore there was no significant association among nurse's knowledge, attitude and nursing care for pain problem (p>0,005).
Multivariate analysis shown that nurses less than 29 years old and have trained of pain management are nurses who were better in nursing care for pain. This research imply nurses need to be trained in basic and advanced level in order to increase quality of nursing care for pain.

"Peran orang tua sangat penting dalam merawat anak kanker. Kepercayaan diri dan kemampuan orang tua dalam merawat anak kanker dilihat dari efikasi diri. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan efikasi diri pada orang tua dengan anak kanker. Desain penelitian menggunakan cross sectional dengan sampel 66 orang tua dari anak kanker usia 0-14 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 47 (71%) orang tua memiliki tingkat efikasi diri yang sedang. Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pendidikan (p=0,003), status ekonomi (p=0,003), pengalaman diri (p=0,002), pengamatan model (p=0,002), persuasi verbal (p=0,008), dan dukungan keluarga (p=0,003) dengan efikasi diri orang tua. Perawat disarankan dapat memahami efikasi diri pada orang tua dan hubungannya dengan pengobatan dan perawatan anak dengan kanker.

The role of parents is very important in treating children with cancer. Confidence and ability of parents in caring for children is seen from self-efficacy. This study was conducted to determine the factors associated with self-efficacy in parents with children with cancer. The design of this study was cross sectional with a sample size of 66 parents of cancer children aged 0-14 years. The results showed that 47 (71%) parents had a moderate level of self-efficacy. There was a significant relationship between education level (p=0.003), economic status (p=0.003), self-experience (p=0.002), model observation (p=0.002), verbal persuasion (p=0.008), and family support (p=0.008). =0.003) with parental self-efficacy. Nurses can understand self-efficacy in parents and their relationship with treatment and child care."

"Latar Belakang: Kesehatan gigi dan mulut merupakan salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan pada dengan keterbatasan pendengaran. Untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dalam menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut, diperlukan sebuah metode edukasi kesehatan gigi yang efektif. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menguji metode edukasi penayangan video bahasa isyarat dan permainan kartu interaktif terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan praktik kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak disabilitas rungu.
Metode: 40 anak disabilitas rungu pada sebuah sekolah khusus tunarungu dibagi secara acak ke dalam dua kelompok. Kelompok 1 mendapatkan intervensi edukasi penayangan video bahasa isyarat dan kelompok 2 mendapatkan intervensi edukasi permainan kartu interaktif. Pengetahuan, sikap dan praktik kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak disabilitas rungu dinilai dengan kuesioner, dan status kebersihan gigi dan mulut dinilai dengan indeks Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified (OHI-S) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dilakukan.
Hasil: Terdapat hasil signifikan pada peningkatan sikap dan praktik pada kelompok penayangan video, dan hasil signifikan pada peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, praktik dan penurunan skor OHI-S pada kelompok permainan kartu dalam interval 1 bulan.
Kesimpulan: Kedua jenis intervensi dapat digunakan sebagai metode edukasi pada anak disabilitas rungu. Edukasi interaktif lebih signifikan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, praktik kesehatan gigi dan mulut serta menurunkan skor OHI-S.

Background: Oral health is one thing that needs to be considered in children with hearing impairments. To increase independence in maintaining oral and dental health, an effective dental health education method is needed. The aim of the study was to test education with video and interactive games method on the increase of oral health knowledge, attitudes and practices of children with hearing disabilities.
Method: 40 children with hearing disabilities in a special school were randomly divided into two groups. Group 1 received a one-way educational intervention by showing video with sign language and group 2 received an interactive educational intervention by playing cards game. Oral health knowledge, attitudes practices of children with hearing disabilities were assessed by a Knowledge-Attitude-Practice questionnaire, and oral hygiene status was assessed by the Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified (OHI-S) index before and after the intervention was carried out.
Results: There were significant results in increasing attitudes and practices in the video group, and significant results in increasing knowledge, attitudes, practices and decreasing OHI-S scores in the interactive card game group after 1 month interval.
Conclusion: Both type of interventions can be used as educational methods for children with hearing disabilities. Interactive education is more significant in increasing knowledge, attitudes, dental and oral health practices and decreasing OHI-S scores.

"Merawat anak dengan kanker dapat menimbulkan stres bagi orang tua. Stres tergantung pada mekanisme koping yang dimilikinya. Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi pengaruh psikoedukasi manajemen stres terhadap stres dan koping orang tua merawat anak kanker. Desain penelitian quasi eksperiment dengan sampel 32 orang tua yang merawat anak kanker terdiri dari 16 orang kelompok intervensi (psikoedukasi manajemen stres) dan 16 orang kelompok kontrol (leaflet). Hasil menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh psikoedukasi manajemen stres terhadap stres dan koping orang tua merawat anak kanker (p<0,05). Tidak terdapat pengaruh karakteristik responden terhadap stres dan koping, kecuali pengetahuan (p<0,05). Intervensi psikoedukasi manajemen stres dapat menurunkan stres dan meningkatkan koping orang tua merawat anak kanker.

Caring children with cancer cause stress for parents. Stress is depending on their coping mechanism. This study aims to determine the effect of stress management psychoeducation of parents caring for children with cancer. The study design was quasi eksperiment with 32 parents of children with cancer, consist of 16 parents for intervention group (stress management psychoeducation) and 16 parents for control group (leaflet). The result shown that stress management psychoeducation affected on parents?s stress as well as coping in caring for children with cancer (p<0,05). There had not affect respondent characteristics on parents?s stress and coping, except knowledge (p<0,05). Intervention stress management psychoeducation may decrease stress and increase coping of parents in caring for children cancer.

"Latar Belakang : Trauma di rongga mulut memiliki prevalensi yang tinggi, terutama pada anak-anak. Avulsi gigi merupakan kasus trauma di rongga mulut yang paling berat dan sering terjadi di sekolah. Sekitar 64,5% kasus avulsi gigi tidak mendapatkan penanganan yang tepat karena kurangnya pengetahuan guru sekolah terhadap pertolongan pertama avulsi gigi. Oleh karena itu, guru sekolah membutuhkan edukasi untuk meningkatkan prognosis perawatan pada anak. Salah satu media edukasi yang dapat digunakan yaitu poster. Penelitian mengenai pengaruh poster edukasi terhadap perubahan tingkat pengetahuan guru sekolah dasar mengenai pertolongan pertama mandiri avulsi gigi belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya di Indonesia. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan guru sekolah dasar sebelum dan sesudah membaca poster edukasi “Pertolongan Pertama Mandiri Gigi Avulsi pada Anak” Metode Penelittian : Penelitian ini dilakukan di 13 sekolah dasar negeri di Jakarta Pusat, dengan total 54 guru yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Setelah mengisi informed consent, pengetahuan awal diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner kemudian guru membaca poster edukasi mengenai pertolongan pertama avulsi gigi. Setelah membaca poster, guru mengisi kembali kuesioner yang berisi pertanyaan yang sama. Perbedaan total skor pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah membaca poster edukasi diuji secara statistik. Hasil : Nilai median total skor sebelum membaca poster adalah 5 sedangkan nilai median setelah membaca poster adalah 10. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai p=0.000 yang menandakan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan guru sekolah dasar sebelum dan sesudah membaca poster edukasi Kesimpulan : Terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan guru sekolah dasar sebelum dan sesudah membaca poster edukasi “Pertolongan Pertama Mandiri Gigi Avulsi pada Anak” yang menandakan poster edukasi merupakan media edukasi yang efektif. 

Background : Oral trauma has a high prevalence, especially in children. Dental avulsion is the most severe type of oral trauma and school is the common place where dental avulsion occurs. Arround 64.5% of dental avulsion cases did not get proper treatment due to inadequate teachers’ knowledge about first aid management of dental avulsion; therefore, teachers need education to improve the prognosis of treatment. One of the educational media that can be used is poster. Research on educational poster’s effect on the knowledge of elementary school teachers regarding first aid management of dental avulsion has never been done in Indonesia. Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyse the difference of level on the knowledge of Elementary School Teachers Before and After Reading Educational Posters “First Aid Management Of Dental Avulsion on Children” Methods : This study was conducted in 13 public primary schools in central Jakarta, with a total of 54 teachers who met the inclusion criteria. After filling out the informed consent, initial knowledge was measured using a questionnaire, then the teacher read an educational poster about the first aid management of dental avulsion. After reading the poster, the teachers answered the questionnaire, which included the same questions as the first questionnaire. The difference between total knowledge scores before and after reading the educational poster was statistically counted. .Results : The median of total score before reading the poster was 5 while the median of total score after reading the educational poster was 10. The Wilcoxon test showed a significant difference (p=0.000) between the level of knowledge of elementary school teachers before and after reading the educational poster. Conclusion : There is a difference in the level of knowledge of elementary school teachers before and after reading the educational poster "Independent First Aid for Children's Avulsion Teeth" which indicates that the educational poster is an effective educational tool. "

Sikap mahasiswa tahap preklinik dan klinik terhadap kanker anak beragam. Hampir 50% subjek tidak tertarik menjadi dokter spesialis anak subspesialis pediatrik onkologi dengan beberapa alasan. Namun, subjek tetap menunjukkan sikap bentuk kepedulian untuk pasien kanker anak.

Introduction: Cancer cases are a significant cause of global mortality, particularly among children. As medical students, it is important to understand early symptoms of cancer in children. However, there is currently no data regarding the knowledge and awareness of medical students towards pediatric cancer in Indonesia. Therefore, this research aims to determine the level of knowledge and awareness of students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, towards pediatric cancer. Method: The research was conducted out by distributing a questionnaire from the South Asian Journal of Cancer, consisting of 18 presented in English, along with Indonesian translations below each question. Results: A total of 217 subjects from FKUI completed this research questionnaire, with a distribution of 96 males and 121 females. The subjects were from batch 2017 to 2021, with 102 (47%) students in the preclinical phase and 115 (53%) students in the clinical phase. Regarding knowledge about pediatric cancer, 53,9% preclinical students were able to answer more than 50% of the questions correctly, while a larger number of clinical phase students, namely 76,5%, achieved this. The overall mean score for the preclinical phase was 4.56 out of 8, while the clinical phase had a higher mean score of 5.38 out of 8. In terms of attitudes toward pediatric cancer, 40,1% preclinical students and 35,6% clinical students expressed an interest in becoming pediatricians. Among these, 51,2% students did not wish to specialize in pediatric oncology, with the most common reason being a lack of adequate knowledge about pediatric cancer. According to 65,4% subjects, the best way to raise awareness about pediatric cancer is through mass media communication. Most (67,7%) subjects also mentioned that a form of support as medical students for pediatric cancer patients is donating blood to those in need. Conclusion: Clinical phase students have a higher level of knowledge compared to preclinical phase students, as observed from their questionnaire responses and mean scores. The attitudes of preclinical and clinical phase students toward pediatric cancer vary. Nearly 50% of the subjects are not interested in becoming pediatric oncologists for several reasons. However, the subjects still demonstrate a positive attitude toward pediatric cancer patients."

yang diperlukan untuk mengurangi masalah perilaku seks pranikah pada remaja.
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif sederhana dan teknik triangulasi
dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan orang tua
mengenai perilaku berpacaran yang dilakukan anak remajanya dan perannya
dalam memberikan pendidikan seks. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 96
orang tua yang memiliki anak usia remaja yang berpacaran di Desa Kepuhrejo
Provinsi Jawa Timur. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah random sampling.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pengetahuan orang tua mengenai perilaku
berpacaran pada anak remajanya dan peran dalam memberikan pendidikan seks
secara umum masih kurang. Saran bagi penelitian selanjutnya adalah
menggunakan desain penelitian deskripsi komparatif atau deskripsi korelatif
sehingga hasil penelitian dapat lebih berkembang dan bervariasi.

ABSTRACT
Currently, the dating behavior of adolescent leads to premarital sex behavior. In
that case, proper knowledge and role of parents are needed to decrease the
number of premarital sex possibilities in adolescent children. This research used a
simple descriptive design and triangulation technique which has purpose to identify the
parents level of knowledge about sexual behaviour of their adolescent children and their
role in sex education. The number of sample were 96 parents who have adolescent
children in Desa Kepuhrejo, East Java. Sampling technique used was random sampling
and used proportion experiment analysis. The result showed that the parents?
knowledge about sexual behavior of adolescent children and their role in providing sex
education was still at low level. Recommendation for next research is using different
design such us comparative descriptive or colerative descriptive in order to the result of
research more complex and variation."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan tingkat pendidikan pasien dengan kanker payudara stadium dini di instalasi rawat inap Rumah Sakit Ciptomangunkusumo Jakarta tahun 2012 dengan menggunakan desain studi cross sectional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan data rekam medik Rumah Sakit Ciptomangunkusumo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pendidikan pasien memiliki hubungan dengan stadium dini kanker payudara (OR 2,25) dan risiko meningkat (7,69) setelah dikontrol oleh status pekerjaan, penggunaan alat kontrasepsi hormonal, serta keikutsertaan jaminan kesehatan.

The purpose of this research is to examine association between patient’s educational level with early diagnosis of breast cancer at inpatient care of Ciptomangunkusumo’s Hospital year 2012. This research applied cross sectional design. Data were collected from secondary sources, using medical record data. The result of the research shows that patient’s educational level associated with early diagnosis (OR=2,25) and that risk will be higher if it controlled with employment status, hormonal contraceptive use, and participation of health insurance. (OR=7,69)"
