The last period was at the end of 90s until now called evolution period. Chi Li created different female characters on different work stages. At the first period, Chi Li described the females were still obedient to the tradition. Their self-determination consciousness was weak and depended to men. At the second period, Chi Li's female characters were changed into awaken ones who sought a new way of life. They could survive and make life by themselves, but the traditional concepts still influenced their thoughts. They still believed that devotion to men was the life idealism. Meanwhile, strong personality, strong self-determination consciousness, independence were female characters found in Chi Li's last period works."

"Chinese time adverbs describe status of behavior, modal frequency, or that the behavior has occurred, occurred in the past, present or future. When describe a time, it usually emphasizes the meaning. Indonesian time adverbs describe an event or action occurred at a time. It indicates the status of behavior, or indicates whether the conduct has occurred, has not happened, will happen, repeat and describe the act or thing is not yet completed. This study attempts to shed light on why students incline to make mistake in using Chinese time adverbs. Furthermore, students face difficulty in differentiating between Chinese and Indonesia time adverbs. Chinese Indonesia have the similar meaning of time adverb, such as: gang, yijing, cengjing, zhenzai, jiang, hai, mashang, but function in a sentence not exactly same."

"The study of the relationship between language and thought, and how this apparently differs between cultures and social groups, is a rapidly expanding area of inquiry. In this book Giovanni Bennardo discusses the relationship between language and the mental organization of knowledge, based on the results of a fi eldwork project carried out in the Kingdom of Tonga in Polynesia. It challenges some existing assumptions in linguistics, cognitive anthropology and cognitive science and proposes a new foundational cultural model, ‘radiality’, to show how space, time, and social relationships are expressed both linguistically and cognitively. A foundational cultural model is knowledge that is repeated in several domains and shared within a culturally homogeneous group. These knowledge structures are lenses through which we interpret the world and guide our behavior"

Nutritional status has been proven to have an effect on the hormonal system of the body, thus it may also be an important factor to the development of menstrual disorders. This study was conducted to know the kinds of menstrual disorders that occur in female medical students of Universitas Indonesia and whether nutritional status plays a role in them. The results were collected from a questionnaire distributed through social media in April 2020. 188 students participated in the study, ranging from the first until the fifth year students of Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics software and using various statistical tests. Body mass index showed one significant relation with menstrual frequency disorder (P < 0.05). Waist circumference was proven to not have any effects towards menstrual frequency disorders, dysmenorrhea, menstrual duration disorders, and menstrual bleeding loss disturbance (P > 0.05 for all values). Abnormal nutritional status using BMI seems to be relatively prevalent among female medical students of Universitas Indonesia and menstrual disorders that were found to be highly prevalent were menstrual blood loss disturbance and dysmenorrhea, 68,4% and 67.1% respectively."

"ABSTRACT
The focus of this sociolinguistic study is the relationship between social economic status (socionomic status) and the linguistic code, especially the sentence complexity. The purposes of the study are (1) to measure sentence patterns' among groups of speaker socionomic lower-low, upper-low, lower-middle, and upper-middle; (2) to measure the index of sentence complexity based of the average sentence length (ASL), the index of sentence complexity based on average block length (ABL), and the index of sentence based of the average clause depth (ACD) of four socionomic status groups; (3) to measure the variety of sentence complexity among four socionomic status groups; (4) to measure the effect of socionomic status on the sentence complexity; (5) to measure the contributions of each subvariable of socionomic status to the sentence complexity, and; (6) to measure the close relationship between socionomic status and sentence complexity.
This study used two approaches, namely lingustic and sociological approaches. The relationship between socionomic status and sentence complexity was analyzed in terms deficit theory. The subjects of this study were the native speakers of the Minangkabau language in Municipality of Padang. The data were sentences spoken by informants and individual reports about the social, economic, and cultural conditions of the informants. The data were collected by using recording and questionnaire. The data in the form of sentence were analyzed by using the technique of sentence patterns measurement and sentence complexity according to Cook (1979). Data that were collected by using questionnaire were analyzed by using Hollingshead and Redlich's (1958) and Labov's techniques (1966) to measure the socionomic status of the speakers. Sentence complexity variation among the four socionomic status groups was measured by using one-way variant analysis. The effect of socionomic to the sentence complexity and the contributions of each socionomic's subvariables to sentence complexity were measured by using double regresion analysis technique.
The findings of this study include the following.
There is no significant different between sentence patterns and the index of sentence complexity of oral Minangkabau language spoken by lower-low, upper-low, lower-middle, and upper-middle socionomic status speaker. The sentence patterns and sentence complexity do not indicate the socionomic status of its speakers. There is no difference of linguistic codes in sentence complexity among the four socionomic status groups.
There is no significant effect between socionomic and ASL. On other side, socionomic status gives significant effect to ABL and ACD. All socionomic's subvariables (Job, education, and income) do not give significant contribution to ASL. Among the three subvariables of socionomic, it is only the income that gives significant contribution to ABL and ACD. Although the effect of socionomic to ASL is minimal, it indicates positive correlation between the socionomic status and ASL, ABL, and ACD.

"Considering all that Conrad said about men, his putlook on the human race is very gloomy. No happiness or joy lasts long in his stories, and certainly no happy endings conclude his novels. Even on the successful characters he commented. He didn't allow men to look forward in life hopefully since he harboured a great mistrust against men, his future and religion. Companies got liquidated, banks went bankrupt, ships ran against derelicts or went down, true love paled..."
