"The European Summer School in Logic, Language and Information (ESSLLI) is organized every year by the Association for Logic, Language and Information (FoLLI) in different sites around Europe. "ABSTRAKPendahuluanEfek samping ekstrapiramidal (EPS) pada pengobatan pasien psikotik merupakan sumber ketidakpatuhan minum obat yang berakibat munculnya kekambuhan. Pemberian obat triheksifenidil berguna untuk mencegah dan mengatasi EPS akibat penggunaan obat antipsikotika. Prosentase pasien psikotik yang diberikan obat triheksifenidil di poliklinik jiwa dewasa RSCM (PJD RSCM) tahun 2010 mencapai 51%. Namun tidak diketahui gambaran pola penggunaan triheksifenidil pada pasien yang mendapat terapi antipsikotika di PJDRSCM.Maka penelitian gambaran dan karakteristik penggunaan triheksifenidil pada pasien yang mendapat terapi obat antipsikotika di PJD RSCM ini perlu untuk dilakukan.TujuanMengetahui gambaran dan karakteristik penggunaan triheksifenidil pada pasien yang mendapat terapi obat antipsikotika di PJD RSCM pada bulan Agustus 2010 sampai dengan bulan Juli 2011.MetodePenelitian ini merupakan studi potong lintang. Pengambilan sampel ditetapkan secara random sampling. Subyek adalah semua pasien yang mendapat terapi antipsikotika serta obat triheksifenidil di PJD RSCM pada bulan Agustus 2010 sampai dengan Juli 2011 sebanyak 97. Data demografi dan data sampel diperoleh dari data sekunder catatan medis pasien.HasilPola pemberian triheksifenidil pada pasien yang mendapat antipsikotika di PJD RSCM pada bulan Agustus 2010 sampai dengan bulan Juli 2011, yang terbanyak digunakan adalah pemberian obat triheksifenidil langsung bersama dengan obat antipsikotika sejak awal pengobatan atau sebelum muncul EPS yaitu sebesar 91,8%.KesimpulanPada penelitian ini menunjukkan pola pemberian triheksifenidil pada pasien yang mendapatkan obat antipsikotika di PJD RSCM pada bulan Agustus 2010 sampai dengan bulan Juli 2011, pasien langsung diberikan obat triheksifenidil tanpa pemeriksaan EPS terlebih dulu dan tidak dilakukan evaluasi ulang tiap tiga bulan. Sehingga pemberian obat triheksifenidil tidak sesuai dengan panduan pelayanan medis Departemen Psikiatri RSCM tahun 2007 serta dalam konsensus WHO tentang penatalaksanaan EPS.

ABSTRACTBackgroundExtrapyramidal side effects (EPS) in the treatment of psychotic patients contributes to poor compliance and exacerbation of psychiatric symptoms. The use of trihexyphenidyl is beneficial in preventing and treating neuroleptic-induced EPS. In 2010, percentage of psychotic patients who were given trihexyphenidyl at Poliklinik Jiwa Dewasa RSCM (PJD RSCM) have reached up to 51%. However, the pattern of trihexyphenidyl usage in patients receiving antipsychotic therapy at PJD RSCM has not been known. Therefore, a research is needed in finding the pattern and characteristic of trihexyphenidyl usage in patients recieving antipsychotic therapy at PJD RSCM.AimTo find the pattern and characteristic of trihexyphenidyl usage in patients recieving antipsychotic therapy at PJD RSCM during August 2010 until July 2011.MethodThis research is a cross sectional study. Samples in this research were taken randomly. Subjects recruited were 97 patients receiving antipsychotic therapy with trihexyphenidyl at PJD RSCM during August 2010 until July 2011. Demographic and sample data were obtain from patients? medical records.ResultThe most widely used pattern of trihexyphenidyl usage in patients receiving antipsychotic therapy at PJD RSCM during August 2010 until July 2011 was simultaneous use of trihexyphenidyl together with antipychotic since the beginning of treatment or prior to appearance of EPS at approximately 91.8%.ConclusionPada penelitian ini menunjukkan pola pemberian triheksifenidil pada pasien yang mendapatkan obat antipsikotika di PJD RSCM pada bulan Agustus 2010 sampai dengan bulan Juli 2011, pasien langsung diberikan obat triheksifenidil tanpa pemeriksaan EPS terlebih dulu dan tidak dilakukan evaluasi ulang tiap tiga bulan. Sehingga pemberian obat triheksifenidil tidak sesuai dengan panduan pelayanan medis Departemen Psikiatri RSCM tahun 2007 serta dalam konsensus WHO tentang penatalaksanaan EPS.This research have shown pattern of trihexyphenidyl use which was given directly to patients without EPS examination and without evaluation every three months. In consequent, the use of trihexyphenidyl was not in accordance with 2007 medical operational standart of Psychiatric Department RSCM and WHO consensus on the management of EPS."
