"[ABSTRAK
Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas hidup adalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Keadaan gigi dan mulut anak usia 12 tahun sangat rentan. Tujuannya menganalisis status kesehatan gigi dan mulut dihubungkan dengan kualitas hidup anak menggunakan COHIP-SF versi Indonesia. Penelitian analitik dengan desain cross-sectional, pada 300 anak usia 12 tahun, wawancara dan pemeriksaan. Diketahui rerata DMF-T 2,51, rerata PUFA 0,49 gigi perorang, dan OHI-S 1,70. Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara DMF-T dengan COHIP-SF versi Indonesia(rs=-0,1, p=0,017), PUFA(rs=-0,16, p=0,005) dan OHI-S(rs=-0,16, p=0,004) dengan COHIP-SF versi Indonesia. Kesimpulannya semakin baik status kesehatan gigi anak maka kualitas hidup anak akan semakin baik.

"Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia which is surrounded by its satellite cities Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi.
Nonetheless, scarce information are available of the current oral health of children. Objective: The study aims to
describe caries and gingival status among 5 and 12 years old children in Jabodetabek. Jabodetabek is an abbreviation
of Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, and the satellite cities in its surrounding (Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi).
Methods: The survey was done in 2014 and had already got ethical approval. Design of this study was crosssectional.
Subjects were 5-year-old and 12-year-old Indonesian children living in Jabodetabek, selected using cluster sampling
method. One trained examiner performed the clinical examination. Caries experience was measured using DMFT
index, severity of decayed teeth was assessed using PUFA index, gingival status and oral hygiene were measured
by Loe and Sillness modified index. Results: A total of 390 5-year-old and 458 12-year-old children with balanced
proportion between girls and boys participated in the survey. The prevalence of caries experience among the 5-yearold
children and 12-year-old children were 90% and 84% respectively. The mean DMFT and DT scores among
the 5-year-old children and 12-year-old children were 7.5±5.5 and 6.8±4.8; 3.2±2.2 and 2.9±2.1 respectively. Pulp
involvement were apparent in 45% and 23% of caries in 5 and 12-year-old children respectively. Most children, 45%
5-year-old children and 92% 12-year-old children had substantial amount of plaque. Moreover, 68% 12-year-old
children had gingivitis. Conclusion: Dental caries were prevalent among 5 and 12-year-old Indonesian children in
Jakarta and its satellite cities. The oral health condition of most of the children were poor."

"Latar Belakang: Kondisi kesehatan gigi dan mulut merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari individu dan mempengaruhi kesejahteraan secara keseluruhan. Usia 7-9 tahun merupakan masa yang krusial dalam pertumbuhan gigi karena gigi susu mulai rontok satu per satu dan gigi permanen pertama telah tumbuh. Pencegahan melalui pendidikan kesehatan perlu dilakukan untuk menghindari terjadinya karies gigi. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media buku cerita dan powerpoint dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan gigi dan mulut dan menurunkan skor plak pada anak usia 7-9 tahun. Metode: Penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain non-equivalent group pretest posttest design menggunakan convenience sampling sebagai metode pengambilan sampel. Subyek penelitian berasal dari 4 SD di Kecamatan Cipinang Besar Utara yang berjumlah 197 anak yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok intervensi yang diberikan pendidikan kesehatan gigi melalui media buku cerita dan powerpoint, sedangkan kelompok kontrol diberikan pendidikan melalui media powerpoint. media power point. Pendidikan kesehatan gigi diberikan seminggu sekali selama 4 minggu. Subyek diperiksa plakat awal dan akhir, pengisian angket pre-test dan post-test, pengisian angket evaluasi guru dan pengisian angket sosiodemografi oleh orang tua subjek. Hasil: Terdapat 138 subjek berusia 7-9 tahun yang diteliti dengan kelompok intervensi (n=70) dan kelompok kontrol (n=68). Ada 59 subjek yang dikeluarkan karena tidak memenuhi kriteria usia (n=7), tidak mengumpulkan informed consent (n=11), tidak berpartisipasi dalam semua kegiatan (n=41). Hasil uji wilcoxon pada masing-masing kelompok sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan kesehatan gigi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan (p=0,00). Hasil uji Mann Whitney menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara peningkatan pengetahuan setelah pendidikan pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol (p>0,05). Hasil uji Wilcoxon pada kelompok intervensi menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan pada skor plak akhir (p = 0,02) sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan (p = 0,994). Kesimpulan: Edukasi kesehatan gigi dan mulut melalui media buku cerita dan powerpoint serta melalui media powerpoint dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada anak usia 7-9 tahun di Cipinang Besar Utara. Tidak terdapat perbedaan peningkatan pengetahuan kesehatan gigi dan mulut yang bermakna antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Terjadi penurunan skor plak pada kelompok intervensi.
Background: The condition of dental and oral health is an integral part of the individual and affects overall well-being. The age of 7-9 years is a crucial period in the growth of teeth because the baby teeth begin to fall out one by one and the first permanent teeth have grown. Prevention through health education needs to be done to avoid dental caries. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of using storybooks and powerpoint media in increasing oral health knowledge and reducing plaque scores in children aged 7-9 years. Methods: Quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent group pretest posttest design using convenience sampling as the sampling method. The research subjects came from 4 elementary schools in Cipinang Besar Utara District, totaling 197 children who were divided into two groups, namely the intervention group who were given dental health education through storybooks and powerpoint media, while the control group was given education through powerpoint media. powerpoint media. Dental health education is given once a week for 4 weeks. Subjects were checked for initial and final plaques, filling out pre-test and post-test questionnaires, filling out teacher evaluation questionnaires and filling out sociodemographic questionnaires by subject's parents. Results: There were 138 subjects aged 7-9 years studied with the intervention group (n=70) and the control group (n=68). There were 59 subjects who were excluded because they did not meet the age criteria (n=7), did not collect informed consent (n=11), did not participate in all activities (n=41). Wilcoxon test results in each group before and after dental health education showed an increase in knowledge (p = 0.00). The results of the Mann Whitney test showed that there was no significant difference between the increase in knowledge after education in the intervention group and the control group (p>0.05). The results of the Wilcoxon test in the intervention group showed a significant difference in the final plaque score (p = 0.02) while in the control group there was no significant difference (p = 0.994). Conclusion: Dental and oral health education through storybooks and powerpoint media as well as through powerpoint media can increase dental and oral health knowledge in children aged 7-9 years in Cipinang Besar Utara. There was no significant difference in the increase in knowledge of oral and dental health between the intervention group and the control group. There was a decrease in plaque scores in the intervention group."

Prevalensi karies gigi remaja di Indonesia masih tinggi. Salah satunya karena perilaku kesehatan gigi yang masih buruk. Perilaku remaja yang tidak stabil secara emosional dapat mempengaruhi perawatan kesehatan giginya. Keadaan kesehatan gigi yang buruk akan berdampak pada kepercayaan diri dalam hubungan sosialnya. Oleh karena itu diperlukan evaluasi penilaian determinan kesehatan gigi remaja. Alat ukur yang sesuai dengan karakteristik remaja, sampai saat ini belum tersedia. Tujuan penelitian adalah membuat alat ukur untuk mengukur perilaku kesehatan gigi remaja dan menguji model perilaku kesehatan gigi remaja berdasarkan theory of planned behavior serta menentukan determinannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi deskriptif eksploratif dengan desain cross sectional. Sejumlah 723 siswa SMP berusia 13-15 tahun adalah siswa SMP di Kota Bandung menjadi subjek penelitian. Sampel dipilih dengan metoda probability proportional to size (PPS) menggunakan random group methods. Penelitian terdiri dari: (1) membuat alat ukur dan memvalidasinya; (2) menilai perilaku kesehatan gigi remaja dan plak skor (3) menguji model determinan perilaku kesehatan gigi remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, alat ukur perilaku kesehatan gigi remaja (oral hygiene, dietary habits, dental attendance) berdasarkan theory of planned behavior serta perilaku aktual (oral hygiene, dietary habits, dental attendance), dan dengan dua faktor terkait yaitu harapan hasil sosial dan pengetahuan dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Hasil untuk model struktural ketiga perilaku kebersihan gigi, kebiasaan diet, kunjungan ke Dokter Gigi, berdasarkan theory of planned behaviour, harapan hasil sosial dan pengetahuan hasilnya data fit (sesuai dengan model). Hasil analisis hubungan (1) model struktural perilaku kebersihan gigi: kontrol perilaku, harapan hasil sosial dan pengetahuan kesehatan gigi mempengaruhi skor plak melalui intensi dan perilaku aktual kebersihan gigi, (2) model struktural perilaku kebiasaan diet: kontrol perilaku dan pengetahuan kesehatan gigi mempengaruhi skor plak melalui intensi dan perilaku aktual kebiasaan diet, (3) model struktural perilaku kunjungan ke Dokter Gigi: kontrol perilaku dan pengetahuan kesehatan gigi mempengaruhi skor plak melalui intensi dan perilaku aktual kunjungan ke Dokter Gigi (4) model struktural perilaku kesehatan gigi: ketiga kontrol perilaku (kebersihan gigi, kebiasaan diet dan kunjungan ke Dokter Gigi) berkonstribusi kuat terhadap masing-masing intensi (kebersihan gigi, kebiasaan diet dan kunjungan ke Dokter Gigi), dan yang terbesar konstribusinya adalah kontrol perilaku kebiasaan diet. Kesimpulan, kontrol perilaku yang kuat pada komponen intensi akan menentukan ketiga perilaku kesehatan gigi pada remaja, namun yang secara empiris menentukan adanya hubungan dengan skor plak hanya perilaku kebersihan gigi dan kebiasaan diet.


The prevalence of adolescent caries in Indonesia is still high. Poor oral health behaviour is one of the causes. Unstable emotional behaviour in adolescent can affect their oral health care. Poor oral health condition can affect their self-confident in social environment. Therefore evaluation for adolescent oral health determinant and assessment is needed. Measuring instruments that suitable for adolescent characteristics are not yet available. The purpose for this research is to make an effective measuring instrument to assess adolescent oral health behaviour and to test adolescent the model of oral health behaviour based on theory of planned behavior alongside by determining the determinants. This research uses explorative description with cross sectional design. A total of 723 junior high school students aged 13-15 years in the city of Bandung became the subject of study.The sample was chosen with probability proportional to size (PPS) method using random group methods. The research consist of (1) make an effective measuring instrument and validate it; (2) assessing adolescent oral health behavior and score plaque (3) assessing the determinant model of adolescent oral health behaviour. Research result shown that measuring instrument of adolescent oral health behaviour based on theory of planned behaviour, the expectation of social outcome, oral health knowledge, and actual behaviour confirmed as valid and reliable. The result of third structural oral hygiene behaviour model, dietary habits, dental based on the theory of planned behaviour, expected social outcome and knowledge which resulted of data fit with model. The result of result of relationship analysis consist of (1) structural models of oral hygiene behaviors: perceived behavior control, expectations social outcomes and oral health knowledge influence plaque scores through the intention and actual behavior of oral hygiene, (2) structural models of dietary habits: perceived behavior control and oral health knowledge influence plaque scores through the intention and actual behavior of dietary habits, (3) structural models of dental attandance: perceived behavior control and oral health knowledge influence plaque scores through the intention and actual behavior of dental attendance (4) structural models of oral health behavior: perceived behaviora control (oral hygiene, dietary habits and dental attandance) have a strong contribution to each intention (oral hygiene, dietary habits and dental attandance), and the biggest contribution is perceived behaver control of dietary habits. Conclusion, strong perceived behavioral control on the intention component will determine the three oral health behaviors in adolescents, but which empirically determines the association with plaque scores only oral hygiene behavior and dietary habits.

"Latar belakang: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat oral health literacy (OHL)terhadap status klinis dan perilaku kesehatan gigi dan mulut serta denga faktor sosiodemografis pada lansia independen.
Metode: Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross-sectional dengan total 195 subjek lansia di Kota Depok berusia 60 tahun ke atas dengan pengisian data sosiodemografis, kuesioner dengan metode wawancara mengenai tingkat oral health literacy menggunakan HeLD-29, dan kuesioner perilaku menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Status klinis dinilai melalui pemeriksaan klinis menggunakan indeks DMF-T, status periodontal menggunakan CPI-modified, status pemakaian gigi tiruan, status kebersihan mulut menggunakan indeks OHI-S, serta penilaian kemampuan mastikasi secara subjektif.
Hasil: Rerataskor oral health literacy pada penelitian ini adalah 3,45±0,67. Nilai Cronbachs alpha = 0.945. Validitas diskriminan memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan kemampuan mastikasi (p<0,01) dan validitas konvergen memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan gigi hilang, skor DMF-T, dan kemampuan mastikasi (p<0,01), serta gigi yang direstorasi (p<0,05). Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara beberapa domain HeLD-29 dengan status klinis kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Perbedaan bermakna secara statistik juga terdapat pada jumlah gigi yang hilang, gigi yang direstorasi, dan poket periodontal antara kelompok dengan oral health literacy rendah dengan kelompok dengan oral health literacy tinggi (p<0,05). Didapatkan pula perbedaan rerata skor oral health literacy yang bermakna pada variabel usia dan tingkat pendidikan, serta adanya hubungan signifikan antara nilai DMF-T dengan frekuensi kunjungan ke dokter gigi dan antara perdarahan gingiva dengan status merokok.
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara tingkat oral health literacy dengan status klinis kesehatan gigi dan mulut serta dengan faktor sosiodemografis yaitu usia dan tingkat pendidikan pada lansia independen. Terdapat hubungan antara status klinis dengan perilaku kesehatan gigi dan mulut.

Background: The aim of this study is to evaluate the association between oral health literacy(OHL), oral healthstatus, and oral health behavior of independent elderly.
Methods: Cross-sectional study involved 195 independent living elderly in Depok aged 60 and above. The subjects completed a self-administered questionnaire collectin information about socio-demographics, Health Literacy in Dentistry (HeLD-29) questionnaire to assessed oral health literacy, and oral health behavior questionnaire by interviewing subjects. Oral health status was recorded by clinical oral examination using DMF-T index, CPI-modified, denture status, OHI-S, and the masticatory performance wasassessed subjectively.
Results: Oral health literacy mean score in this study is 3,45±0,67. The Cronbachs alpha = 0.945. The discriminant validity were confirmed by HeLD scores being significantly associated with mastication ability(p<0.01). The convergent validity were confirmed by HeLD score being significantly associated with amount of tooth loss, DMF-T score, and mastication ability (p<0,01) also with amount of filled teeth (p<0,05). There were correlations between some HeLD-29 domain with oral health status. There were significant differences of amount of tooth loss (M-T), amount of filled teeth (F-T), and amount of deep pocket between the group with low oral health literacy and the group with high oral health literacy (p<0,05). Statistical differences were also found between oral health literacy mean score amongst age and education level group. There were also correlations between DMF-T score and dental visits and between amount of bleeding on probing and smoking status of the subjects.
Conclusion: Oral health literacy was associated with oral health status and the socio-demographics such as age and education level there is a relationship between oral health status and oral health behavior in independent elderly.

"Latar belakang: Stunting masih menjadi salah satu masalah gizi kronis dengan prevalensi yang cukup tinggi di dunia. Saat ini, di Indonesia, prevalensi kondisi stunting masih melebihi batasan dari ketentuan WHO (World Health Organization) yaitu ambang batas prevalensi masalah stunting sebesar <20%. Penyakit karies dan status gizi seseorang dapat saling berhubungan satu sama lain. Karies gigi sulung yang tidak dirawat dapat berpengaruh terhadap status gizi seseorang. Tujuan: Mengetahui prevalensi stunting dan karies pada anak usia 5 tahun di Indonesia serta melihat hubungan antara status kesehatan gigi dan mulut dengan stunting anak usia 5 tahun. Metode: Penelitian cross-sectional pada 410 anak berusia 5 tahun melalui kuisioner data Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas) 2018 dan pemeriksaan klinis gigi. Hasil: Prevalensi stunting pada 410 anak usia 5 tahun adalah 25,4%. Tingkat keparahan karies paling banyak ditemukan pada kategori S-ECC sebesar 260 anak (63,5%). Berdasarkan uji Chi-square, terdapat hubungan (p= 0,001) antara stunting dengan tingkat pendidikan orang tua dan sosial ekonomi. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara karies dengan stunting. Kesimpulan:Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara tingkat pendidikan orang tua dan status sosioekonomi dengan status gizi berupa stunting.

Background: Stunting, is one of the chronic malnutrition problems with a relatively high prevalence in the world. Nowadays, in Indonesia, the prevalence of stunting conditions still exceeds the limits of threshold prevalence of the World Health Organization (WHO) provisions which is <20%. Caries disease and nutritional status can be related to one another. Untreated caries in deciduous teeth can affect a nutritional status in individuals. Objective: This study aims to determine the prevalence of stunting and caries disease of 5 year old children in Indonesia and to determine the relationship between oral health status with stunting of 5 year-old children. Method: A cross-sectionl study of 410 children aged 5 years old through clinical tooth examinations and questionnaire of National Health Survey 2018. Results: The prevalence of stunting in 410 children aged 5 years old was 25,4%. Caries severity was mostly found in the S-ECC category of 260 children (63,5%). Based on the Chi-square test, there is a correlation (p=0,001) between stunting with the level of parenteral education and sosioeconomic status. There is no correlation between caries and stunting. Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between the level of parenteral education and socioeconomic status with nutritional status in the form of stunting."

"Latar Belakang: Kesehatan gigi dan mulut merupakan salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan pada dengan keterbatasan pendengaran. Untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dalam menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut, diperlukan sebuah metode edukasi kesehatan gigi yang efektif. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menguji metode edukasi penayangan video bahasa isyarat dan permainan kartu interaktif terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan praktik kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak disabilitas rungu.
Metode: 40 anak disabilitas rungu pada sebuah sekolah khusus tunarungu dibagi secara acak ke dalam dua kelompok. Kelompok 1 mendapatkan intervensi edukasi penayangan video bahasa isyarat dan kelompok 2 mendapatkan intervensi edukasi permainan kartu interaktif. Pengetahuan, sikap dan praktik kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak disabilitas rungu dinilai dengan kuesioner, dan status kebersihan gigi dan mulut dinilai dengan indeks Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified (OHI-S) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dilakukan.
Hasil: Terdapat hasil signifikan pada peningkatan sikap dan praktik pada kelompok penayangan video, dan hasil signifikan pada peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, praktik dan penurunan skor OHI-S pada kelompok permainan kartu dalam interval 1 bulan.
Kesimpulan: Kedua jenis intervensi dapat digunakan sebagai metode edukasi pada anak disabilitas rungu. Edukasi interaktif lebih signifikan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, praktik kesehatan gigi dan mulut serta menurunkan skor OHI-S.

Background: Oral health is one thing that needs to be considered in children with hearing impairments. To increase independence in maintaining oral and dental health, an effective dental health education method is needed. The aim of the study was to test education with video and interactive games method on the increase of oral health knowledge, attitudes and practices of children with hearing disabilities.
Method: 40 children with hearing disabilities in a special school were randomly divided into two groups. Group 1 received a one-way educational intervention by showing video with sign language and group 2 received an interactive educational intervention by playing cards game. Oral health knowledge, attitudes practices of children with hearing disabilities were assessed by a Knowledge-Attitude-Practice questionnaire, and oral hygiene status was assessed by the Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified (OHI-S) index before and after the intervention was carried out.
Results: There were significant results in increasing attitudes and practices in the video group, and significant results in increasing knowledge, attitudes, practices and decreasing OHI-S scores in the interactive card game group after 1 month interval.
Conclusion: Both type of interventions can be used as educational methods for children with hearing disabilities. Interactive education is more significant in increasing knowledge, attitudes, dental and oral health practices and decreasing OHI-S scores.

"Latar Belakang : Trauma di rongga mulut memiliki prevalensi yang tinggi, terutama pada anak-anak. Avulsi gigi merupakan kasus trauma di rongga mulut yang paling berat dan sering terjadi di sekolah. Sekitar 64,5% kasus avulsi gigi tidak mendapatkan penanganan yang tepat karena kurangnya pengetahuan guru sekolah terhadap pertolongan pertama avulsi gigi. Oleh karena itu, guru sekolah membutuhkan edukasi untuk meningkatkan prognosis perawatan pada anak. Salah satu media edukasi yang dapat digunakan yaitu poster. Penelitian mengenai pengaruh poster edukasi terhadap perubahan tingkat pengetahuan guru sekolah dasar mengenai pertolongan pertama mandiri avulsi gigi belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya di Indonesia. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan guru sekolah dasar sebelum dan sesudah membaca poster edukasi “Pertolongan Pertama Mandiri Gigi Avulsi pada Anak” Metode Penelittian : Penelitian ini dilakukan di 13 sekolah dasar negeri di Jakarta Pusat, dengan total 54 guru yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Setelah mengisi informed consent, pengetahuan awal diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner kemudian guru membaca poster edukasi mengenai pertolongan pertama avulsi gigi. Setelah membaca poster, guru mengisi kembali kuesioner yang berisi pertanyaan yang sama. Perbedaan total skor pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah membaca poster edukasi diuji secara statistik. Hasil : Nilai median total skor sebelum membaca poster adalah 5 sedangkan nilai median setelah membaca poster adalah 10. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai p=0.000 yang menandakan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan guru sekolah dasar sebelum dan sesudah membaca poster edukasi Kesimpulan : Terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan guru sekolah dasar sebelum dan sesudah membaca poster edukasi “Pertolongan Pertama Mandiri Gigi Avulsi pada Anak” yang menandakan poster edukasi merupakan media edukasi yang efektif. 

Background : Oral trauma has a high prevalence, especially in children. Dental avulsion is the most severe type of oral trauma and school is the common place where dental avulsion occurs. Arround 64.5% of dental avulsion cases did not get proper treatment due to inadequate teachers’ knowledge about first aid management of dental avulsion; therefore, teachers need education to improve the prognosis of treatment. One of the educational media that can be used is poster. Research on educational poster’s effect on the knowledge of elementary school teachers regarding first aid management of dental avulsion has never been done in Indonesia. Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyse the difference of level on the knowledge of Elementary School Teachers Before and After Reading Educational Posters “First Aid Management Of Dental Avulsion on Children” Methods : This study was conducted in 13 public primary schools in central Jakarta, with a total of 54 teachers who met the inclusion criteria. After filling out the informed consent, initial knowledge was measured using a questionnaire, then the teacher read an educational poster about the first aid management of dental avulsion. After reading the poster, the teachers answered the questionnaire, which included the same questions as the first questionnaire. The difference between total knowledge scores before and after reading the educational poster was statistically counted. .Results : The median of total score before reading the poster was 5 while the median of total score after reading the educational poster was 10. The Wilcoxon test showed a significant difference (p=0.000) between the level of knowledge of elementary school teachers before and after reading the educational poster. Conclusion : There is a difference in the level of knowledge of elementary school teachers before and after reading the educational poster "Independent First Aid for Children's Avulsion Teeth" which indicates that the educational poster is an effective educational tool. "
