Apoteker bertanggung jawab dalam menangani pengelolaan Sediaan Farmasi,
Alat Kesehatan, dan Bahan Medis Habis Pakai serta pelayanan farmasi klinik
di apotek. Praktek Kerja Profesi (PKP) di Apotek SAFA diperlukan untuk
mengetahui dan memahami peran dan tanggung jawab Apoteker di apotek serta
memahami praktik kegiatan teknis kefarmasian dan non teknis kefarmasian di
Apotek SAFA. Apoteker bertugas dalam memimpin, mengatur, mengawasi,
dan bertanggungjawab terhadap seluruh kegiatan apotek. Apoteker Pengelola
Apotek (APA) di Apotek SAFA belum sepenuhnya menjalankan fungsinya
sesuai dengan Undang-Undang dan peraturan yang berlaku dalam mengelola
semua kegiatan yang berlangsung di Apotek SAFA baik manajerial maupun
pemberian pelayanan kefarmasian yang baik bagi pelanggan Apotek SAFA.
Pengelolaan apotek di Apotek SAFA mencakup administrasi, manajemen pengadaan, penyimpanan, penjualan dan pelayanan telah berjalan dengan cukup baik.

Tugas khusus yang diberikan berjudul Rekapitulasi Penolakan Permintaan Resep Bulan Februari 2016 dan Barang Non Resep Bulan Februari 2016 di Apotek Safa.
Tujuan dari tugas khusus ini adalah untuk mengetahui data sepuluh jenis obat resep terbanyak ditolak pada bulan Februari 2016, barang non resep terbanyak yang ditolak pada bulan Februari 2016, omzet yang seharusnya diperoleh jika tidak terjadi penolakan tersebut, jenis barang yang paling sering ditolak serta alasan penolakannya.
Pharmacy is a place for pharmacists to do their pharmaceutical care. The pharmacy is organized by a pharmacist called Apoteker Pengelola Apotek (APA). Apoteker Pengelola Apotek (APA) should have a good ability in pharmacy knowledge and management. Apothecary Profession Internship at Apotek Safa aims to make students understand the role of Apoteker Pengelola Apotek (APA) in the activities of pharmacy service at Pharmacy and understand the management and activities at Pharmacy.
A special assignment report which is given has title Recapitulation of Rejection Request of Prescription in February 2016 and Non Prescription Goods in February 2016 at Apotek Safa.
The purpose of spesial assignment is to determine data ten types of prescription drugs most rejected in February 2016, non prescription goods that most rejected in February 2016, the turnover of which should be obtained in the absence of such rejection, the most frequent type of goods rejected and reason for refusal."

Tugas khusus yang diberikan berjudul Perencanaan Pengadaan dan Pengendalian Sediaan di Apotek Safa pada Bulan April Tahun 2016. Tujuan dari tugas khusus ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan penulis, untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang perlu diperhatikan dalam melakukan perencanaan pengadaan dan pengendalian yang efektif dalam pengelolaan sediaan di apotek.

"Apotek adalah sarana pelayanan kefarmasian tempat dilakukan praktik kefarmasian oleh Apoteker. Praktik kefarmasian yang dimaksudkan meliputi pembuatan termasuk pengendalian mutu sediaan farmasi, pengamanan, pengadaan, penyimpanan dan pendistribusian obat, pelayanan obat atas resep dokter, pelayanan informasi obat serta pengembangan obat, bahan obat dan obat tradisional harus dilakukan oleh tenaga kesehatan yang mempunyai keahlian dan kewenangan sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan. Dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, seorang Apoteker harus berdasar pada standar pelayanan kefarmasian. Pelayanan kefarmasian yang dilakukan oleh Apoteker didasarkan pada dua fungsi, yaitu fungsi klinik (direct patient care) dan fungsi non klinik (manajemen). Oleh karena itu, selain harus memiliki ilmu farmasi yang baik, Apoteker juga dituntut untuk memiliki jiwa wirausaha dan manajemen yang baik agar usaha apotek berjalan dengan baik. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di Apotek merupakan salah satu sarana bagi mahasiswa calon apoteker untuk lebih memahami dan mengembangkan teori yang telah diperoleh mengenai peranan Apoteker di apotek, kegiatan rutin organisasi, manajemen dan pelayanan kesehatan di apotek.
Pharmacy is a pharmacy service means to do the practice of pharmacy by a pharmacist. Pharmacy practice intended include manufacturing, including quality control of pharmaceutical preparations, security, procurement, storage and distribution of drugs, drug services on prescription, drugs information service and the development of drugs, drug ingredients and traditional medicine should be done by health workers who have the expertise and authority under with the provisions of the legislation. In performing its duties, a pharmacist must be based on the standard of pharmacy services. Pharmaceutical services performed by pharmacists is based on two functions, namely the function of the clinic (direct patient care) and non-clinical functions (management). Therefore, in addition must have a good pharmaceutical science, Pharmacists are also required to have an entrepreneurial spirit and good management that the pharmacy business is going well. Praktek Kerja Profesi (PKPA) in Pharmacy is one tool for prospective student pharmacists to better understand and develop theories that have been obtained regarding the role of pharmacists in the pharmacy, the routine activities of the organization, management and health services in pharmacies."

"Apotek merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang berperan dalam upaya peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat. Dalam rangka memahami dan mempraktikkan manajemen dan pelayanan kefarmasian di Apotek, Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia bekerja sama dengan Apotek Safa untuk melaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA).
Tujuan pelaksanaan PKPA di Apotek Safa adalah agar calon Apoteker mampu memahami tugas dan tanggung jawab Apoteker dalam rangka pengelolaan Apotek serta melakukan praktik pelayanan kefarmasian sesuai dengan ketentuan perundang-undangan yang berlaku; memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman praktis untuk melakukan praktik kefarmasian di Apotek; dan memiliki gambaran nyata tentang permasalahan praktik kefarmasian serta mempelajari strategi dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan dalam rangka pengembangan praktik kefarmasian. Selama masa PKPA, mahasiswa mempelajari penataan dan seluruh alur manajemen dan pelayanan yang dilakukan di Apotek Safa, meliputi pemesanan, penerimaan, penataan, pencatatan penjualan, dan pembayaran obat, serta pelayanan resep dan non-resep.
Berdasarkan PKPA yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Apoteker memiliki peran yang penting dalam mengelola apotek, baik sebagai Apoteker Penanggungjawab Apotek maupun Apoteker Pendamping; Apoteker perlu memliki kemampuan berwirausaha dan komunikasi yang baik utuk dapat mengelola apotek; dan permasalahan yang dihadapi Apotek Safa selama PKPA adalah terjadinya kekosongan beberapa item obat dengan tingkat penjualan yang tinggi yang disebabkan karena kekosongan dari produsen. Selain itu, terjadi ketidakseimbangan antara uang yang didapat dan barang yang terjual karena pencatatan penjualan yang tidak lengkap.
Pharmacy is one of the important factors that play a role in improving public health. In order to understand and practice management and pharmacy services in Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia in collaboration with Apotek Safa to do the Pharmacy Practice (PKPA).
The aims of this PKPA is that prospective Apothecary are able to understand the duties and responsibilities of Apothecary in the management of pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical services in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation; have the insight, knowledge, skills, and practical experience to do the practice of pharmacy in pharmacy; and have a real picture of the problems pharmacy practice and learn the strategies and activities that can be done in order to develop the practice of pharmacy. During the period PKPA, students study the arrangement and the entire workflow management and services performed in Apotek Safa, including ordering, receiving, arrangement, recording sales, and payment of drugs, as well as the services of prescription and non-prescription.
Based on PKPA that has been done, it can be concluded that Apotehcary has an important role in managing the pharmacy, either as a Responsible Apothecary Pharmacy and Apothecary Assistants; Apotehcary has to be good in entrepreneurship skills and communication to be able to manage the pharmacy; and the problems faced during PKPA in Apotek Safa is a vacuum in some drug items with a high level of sales due to the emptiness of the manufacturer. In addition, there is an imbalance between the money raised and the goods sold for incomplete recording sales."
