Untuk dapat memberikan pelayanan kefarmasian yang baik di rumah sakit, seorang Apoteker harus memiliki kemampuan profesional dan pengetahuan yang memadai serta berorientasi kepada kepentingan pasien. Kemampuan profesional apoteker tidak terbatas pada sisi teknis kefarmasian saja, tapi juga dalam fungsi manajemen kefarmasian di rumah sakit. Oleh sebab itu, Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia bekerjasama dengan Rumah Sakit Kanker "Dharmais" untuk menyelenggarakan program Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker pada 1 April - 30 Mei 2014. Tugas Khusus dengan judul Evaluasi Pemberian Antibiotik Pasien Rawat Inap di Ruang Perawatan Anak periode 16-20 mei 2014 bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kerasionalan pemberian antibiotik di Ruang Perawatan Anak Rumah Sakit Kanker "Dharmais" dan Meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang fungsi, tugas, peran dan tanggung jawab Apoteker Farmasi Klinik di Rumah Sakit Kanker "Dharmais".
Along with the times, the orientation of pharmacy practice has changed which was originally product oriented turned into patient oriented. Pharmacist as professional workers in hospitals has a very important role in implementing health care in the field of pharmacy. To be able to give a good pharmacy services in hospitals, a pharmacist must have professional skills, adequate knowledge, and oriented to patient. The ability of professional pharmacists are not limited to the technical side of pharmacy, but also in pharmacy management functions in the hospital. Therefore, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia coorporating with Dharmais Cancer Hospital organized Pharmacist Internship Program in April - Mei 2014. Specific Assignment titled Evaluation of Antibiotics Use in Pediatric Treatment Room period of May 16th-20th 2014 aims to determine the level of rationality antibiotic use and increase the knowledge about the functions, duties, roles and responsibilities of the Pharmacist in Clinical Pharmacy at the Dharmais Cancer Hospital."

"Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker di Apotek Safa bertujuan untuk memahami peran apoteker dalam kegiatan pelayanan kefarmasian di apotek, memahami kegiatan pengelolaan apotek yang baik melalui pengamatan langsung kegiatan administrasi, pelayanan dan manajemen di Apotek Safa serta mengetahui lokasi, desain eksterior-interior, produk farmasi yang ditawarkan, pelayanan kefarmasian serta harga perbekalan farmasi di apotek pesaing. Sedangkan tugas khusus yang dilakukan adalah mengevaluasi pengadaan persediaan obat dengan metode analisis pareto (ABC) di Apotek Safa periode Agustus - Oktober 2014. Hasilnya diketahui bahwa 199 item merupakan pareto A, 233 item merupakan pareto B, dan 302 item merupakan pareto C.

Tujuan dari tugas khusus ini adalah untuk mengetahui data sepuluh jenis obat resep terbanyak ditolak pada bulan Januari- April 2014, barang non resep terbanyak yang ditolak pada bulan April 2014, omzet yang seharusnya diperoleh jika tidak terjadi penolakan tersebut, jenis barang yang paling sering ditolak serta alasan penolakannya.
