"Riset ini bermaksud untuk menganalisis kinerja modal intelektual perusahaan-perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Demikian juga, tujuan riset ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat keuntungan dan risiko perusahaan terhadap kinerja modal intelektual.
Populasi dalam riset ini adalah 402 perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2007-2009. Dengan metode purposive sampling, riset ini menggunakan 60 sampel perusahaan perbankan. Analisis dalam riset ini menggunakan metode regresi berganda dengan tes asumsi klasik,serta menggunakan t-test untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh variabel independen terhadap kinerja modal intelektual.
Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keuntungan dan risiko perusahaan secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja modal intelektual. Dengan demikian, maka tingkat keuntungan yang lebih tinggi akan meningkatkan kinerja modal intelektual perusahaan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan aset tak berwujud, yakni kemampuan sumber daya manusia sangat penting untuk mencapai keberhasilan perusahaan, dan memotivasi karyawan serta manajer untuk melakukan inovasi."

"Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh modal intelektual terhadap nilai pasar dan kinerja perusahaan asuransi kerugian pada periode 2007 - 2011. Model yang digunakan ialah VAICTM oleh Pulic selanjutnya dikembangkan dalam penelitian Chen et al. dengan menambahkan variabel modal pelanggan. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah modal intelektual secara signifikan terbukti mempengaruhi empat dari lima indikator kinerja perusahaan asuransi kerugian terbuka. Empat indikator tersebut, yaitu Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA), Employee Productivity (EP), dan Growth in Revenue (GR). Sedangkan indikator kinerja perusahaan asuransi kerugian terbuka yang tidak dipengaruhi modal intelektual ialah Market to Book Value (MBV). Market to Book Value (MBV) sendiri menggambarkan seberapa besar pasar menghargai nilai buku saham suatu perusahaan. Hal ini berarti pada asuransi kerugian terbuka, modal intelektual belum dapat mempengaruhi Market to Book Value (MBV) dan belum menjadi penentu kepercayaan pasar akan prospek perusahaan asuransi kerugian terbuka di Indonesia.

The study aimed to analyze the influence of intellectual capital to market value and firm performance of general insurance in 2007-2011. The study is based on Pulic's VAICTM which developed by Chen et al. by adding customer capital variable. The result of this study is intellectual capital significantly influence four of five firm performace indicators. The indicators are Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA), Employee Productivity (EP), dan Growth in Revenue (GR). Market to Book Value (MBV) reflected the market respon of the book value of firm’s share. Intellectual capital not yet affected Market to Book Value (MBV) of listed general insurance."

Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan estimasi pengaruh eksternalitas aglomerasi berupa knowledge spillovers (MAR/spesialisasi, Jacobs/diversity, dan Porter/kompetisi) serta eksternalitas modal manusia terhadap pertumbuhan tenaga kerja berdasarkan tingkat intensitas teknologi dalam industri dan melakukan estimasi pengaruh modal manusia dalam meningkatkan pengaruh knowledge spillovers. Penelitian ini menggunakan data ISIC 2-digit industri manufaktur  kabupaten dan kota seluruh Indonesia tahun 2010 dan 2015, menggunakan metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS).  Hasil estimasi menunjukkan bahwa spesialisasi berdampak negatif terhadap pertumbuhan tenaga kerja sedangkan diversity berdampak positif namun tidak signifikan di semua tingkat intensitas teknologi industri. Terdapat perbedaan dampak kompetisi dan modal manusia berdasarkan intensitas teknologi dalam industri. Modal manusia dapat menahan dampak negatif kompetisi dan menurunkan dampak positif diversity terhadap pertumbuhan tenaga kerja.

 


This study aims to estimate the effect of agglomeration externalities in the form of knowledge spillovers (MAR / specialization, Jacobs / diversity, and Porter / competition) and human capital externalities on employment growth based on the level of technological intensity in the industry and estimating the effect of human capital on increasing the influence of knowledge spillovers . This research uses ISIC 2-digit manufacturing industry in districts and cities throughout Indonesia in 2010 and 2015, using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The estimation results show that specialization has a negative impact on employment growth while diversity has a positive effect but is not significant at all levels of industrial technology intensity. There are differences in the impact of competition and human capital based on the intensity of technology in the industry. Human capital can resist the negative impact of competition and reduce the positive impact of diversity on employment growth."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor determinan yang mempengaruhi struktur modal pada siklus bisnis yang berbeda. Sampel penelitian adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di sektor energi yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama 2011-2022. Terdapat empat siklus bisnis dalam penelitian ini yaitu peak, trough, expansion dan sideway cycle. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap struktur modal di setiap business cycle. Hasil ini juga berlaku untuk variabel independen lainnya (tangibilitas, ukuran perusahaan, pertumbuhan perusahaan dan kepemilikan terpusat), yang menunjukkan pengaruh yang berbeda di setiap siklus. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus bisnis trough, expansion dan sideway, teori yang dapat mendukung perilaku penentuan struktur modal adalah pecking order theory, sementara pada saat peak cycle teori yang mendukung adalah trade off theory

This study aims to analyze the determinants factors of capital structure in different business cycles. The research sample consists of companies in the energy sector that are listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for 2011-2022 period. There are four economic cycles in this study, namely peak, trough, expansion and sideways cycle. The results show that profitability has a significant negative relationship with capital structure in each cycle. These results also apply to other independent variables (tangibility, firm size, firm growth, and ownership concentration), showing different significance and relationship outcomes in each cycle. The results of this study also shows during trough, expansion and sideways cycle, theory that support firm’s capital structure decision is pecking order theory while in the peak cycle the theory supports trade-off theory."

"Penentuan struktur modal perusahaan yang optimal menjadi hal yang penting untuk diputuskan oleh manajemen karena dapat mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan. Selain itu, faktor eksternal perusahaan yakni kondisi makroekonomi suatu negara juga akan memberi dampak pada nilai perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjukkan pengaruh struktur modal, yang dicerminkan dengan rasio Debt to Equity (DER), serta faktor makroekonomi, yang diwakili oleh tingkat suku bunga, terhadap penciptaan economic value added (EVA), Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) dan nilai pasar perusahaan yang dicerminkan dengan rasio Tobin’s Q. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi regresi data panel dengan sampel data yaitu BUMN Infrastruktur. Hasil penilitian menunjukkan bahwa DER berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap EVA dan ROIC dan tidak berpengaruh terhadap Tobin’s Q, serta tingkat suku bunga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap EVA, ROIC dan Tobin’s Q.

Determining the optimal capital structure of the company becomes an important thing to be decided by the management because it can affect the value of the enterprise. In addition, the external factors of the company, i.e. the macroeconomic conditions of a country, will also affect the company’s value. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the influence of capital structures, reflected in the Debt to Equity ratio (DER), as well as macroeconomic factors, represented by interest rates, on the creation of economic added value (EVA), Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) and the company’s market value reflected by Tobin’s Q ratio. This research uses a panel data regression methodology with data samples from Infrastructure SOE. The results of the assessment showed that DER had a negative and significant impact on EVA and ROIC and had no impact on Tobin’s Q, while the interest rate level had a positive and significant effect on EVE, ROIC, and Tobin's Q."
