"Background: COVID-19 infection is caused by a novel coronavirus. One of the most used strategies that can be used to control the spread of COVID-19 is the 3T (test, trace, and treatment) strategy. This study aimed to evaluate the 3T strategy to control COVID-19 infection in a COVID-19 Referral Hospital in Depok, West Java, Indonesia. Methods: this is a cross-sectional study conducted at the University of Indonesia Hospital. The study was conducted in June 2020 with 742 participants (staff members) using secondary data from polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test results. We presented data in the descriptive form and performed bivariate analysis using the chi-square/Fischer test for categorical data. Results: the PCR test results were positive in 83 (11.1%) participants, with a case-per-tracing ratio of 1:24 and 1:2 in the first and third phases of tracing, respectively. The COVID-19 case graph for the participants decreased along with the implementation of the 3T strategy. The positivity rate in the first phase of tracing was 20% and decreased to 5% in the third phase of tracing. Staff with confirmed positive test results were advised to isolate themselves (hospital or self-isolation). Hospital isolation was found to be associated with the duration of PCR test conversion (p<0.001). Conclusion: the 3T strategy is effective for controlling the spread of COVID-19. The strategy should be implemented simultaneously with other health precautions to reduce the risk of spreading infection."

Nurse experience in interacting with infection prevention and control nurse (IPCN). Nurse compliance in implementing infection prevention and control practices is influenced by perceptions and experiences in interacting with IPCN. This study is a phenomenological qualitative study that aimed to explore the experience of nurses in interacting with IPCN. The method used was in-depth interviews with 11 nurses, once for about 30-60 min, from 8 service areas in the hospital. Interviews were audio recorded and field note were made then transcripts of interviews were made. Thematic analysis was carried out using five phases of qualitative data analysis, namely: compiling, diassembling, reassembling, interpreting and concluding.
The results of the study found that nurses had minimal interaction with IPCN and found that the implementation of IPCN duties had not been maximized according to the Regulation of the Minister of Health. This study recommends optimizing nurses understanding of the functions of IPCN by involving management, as well as pursue formal education for infection control specialists to IPCN to maximize nursing care.

"Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) infection is still a big issue in gastroenterology field. Its relationship with gastrointestinal malignancies now is widely known and the extra-gastrointestinal manifestation of this epidemic bring new problems. Although the prevalence is decreasing in develop countries, the resistance rate of some strains to standard therapy needs more attention and new strategies. Recent epidemiology studies revealed that H.pylori infection is a specific population disease. Many trials and meta analyses revealed new evidence and horizons in the management of this infection. This review update and highligted pathophysiology, clinical aspects, and new epidemiology data on H.pylori infection which is published in the last five years"
