"Perilaku kesehatan masyarakat masih kurang baik menyebabkan masalah kesehatan gigi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh buku saku terhadap perbedaan perubahan perilaku antara kelompok remaja dan dewasa. Pada 30 orang pada setiap kelompok diberikan buku saku selama 1 minggu. Sebelum dan sesudahnya diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner pra dan paska-tes untuk dilihat perubahan perilaku yang terjadi. Kemudian perubahan tersebut dilihat perbedaannya antara kedua kelompok. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan perilaku bermakna pada kelompok remaja (p=0,002) dan dewasa (p=0,008), namun tidak terjadi perbedaan bermakna peningkatan perilaku antara remaja dan dewasa (p>0,05). Buku saku memiliki pengaruh yang sama terhadap peningkatan perilaku kelompok remaja dan dewasa.

The lack of health behavior causes dental health problems. Purpose of the research is to know the influence of pocketbook towards behavioral changes of adolescent and adult. The pocketbooks were given to 30 people from each groups. The subjects were expected to fill the pre and post questionnaire, then compared inter and intra groups. The behavior of adolescent and adult were improved, with p=0,002 and p=0,008, but they were not significantly different. The pocketbook has same effect in improving behavior of adolescent and adult."
