"Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang reformasi yang terjadi pada awal berdirinya Republik Turki. Fokus penelitian ini adalah reformasi bahasa yang terjadi di Turki pada periode 1928 hingga 1938. Melalui penelitian ini penulis menemukan fakta bahwa sebenarnya para sastrawan Turki telah mencoba untuk memodifikasi Bahasa Turki sejak abad ke 19. Upaya tersebut kemudian berlanjut hingga di bawah pemerintahan Mustafa Kemal Atatűrk. Reformasi Bahasa Turki dibagi menjadi dua fase yaitu pengadopsian huruf latin untuk menggantikan huruf Arab dan dilanjutkan dengan pemurnian Bahasa Turki untuk menghapuskan kosakata Arab dan Persia yang terdapat dalam bahasa Turki.

The research explains the reforms that occurred in the early days of the Republic of Turkey. The focus of this research is that language reform in Turkey in the period 1928 to 1938. Through this research the authors found that in fact the Turkish writers have tried to modify the Turkish language since the 19th century. The efforts are then continued until under Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Turkish Language Reform is divided into two phases, namely the adoption of Latin script to replace the Arabic alphabet and followed by purification to eliminate Turkish Arabic and Persian vocabulary contained in the Turkish Language."

"Kata pinjaman merupakan hasil dari peminjaman kata yang dapat terjadi akibat dari adanya kontak antara penutur satu bahasa dengan bahasa lainnya. Kontak bahasa yang terjadi antara penutur bahasa Arab dengan penutur bahasa Turki pada kekuasaan Islam di Turki telah mempengaruhi bahasa Turki. Salah satu pengaruh yang dapat kita lihat dari kontak bahasa adalah penyerapan kosakata dari bahasa Arab ke kosakata bahasa Turki. Penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai perubahan fonetis kata pinjaman bahasa Turki yang berasal dari bahasa Arab.Melalui penelitian ini penulis menemukan bahwa perubahan bunyi yang terjadi pada bahasa Turki yang berasal dari bahasa Arab dapat dikelompokan menjadi disimilasi, syncope, apocope, penambahan bunyi vokal, dan penyesuaian diftong. Meskipun dari segi fonetis mengalami berbagai perubahan, tetapi dari segi makna tidak mengalami perubahan yang berarti.

The research explain the change in phonetic.Through this research the author found that the sound changes occur in Turkish loanwords origin from Arabic can be classified into dissimilation, syncope, apocope, addition of the vowels, and diphtong sound adjustment.
