ABSTRACT3D printer is a growing resources that number of users keep increasing. Both are used from small to industrial consumers. The use of 3D printers in general is still using conventional methods where the user have to operate the printer directly. This study aims to design remote web-based 3D Printer so it can be operated wirelessly, then analyze the communication performance of Remote 3D printer in indoor scenario which varied by the kind of barrier used into 6 scenarios to obtain optimal conditions of the device in order to work optimally. Raspberry pi works as a server between 3D printers and users so that users can monitor and control 3D printers from other devices on a web-based basis. Based on the testing, it is found that the system performance works with the optimum in the LoS scenario with a RSSI value of -65 dBm and a throughput value of 1.4 x 107 Bits / s for the monitoring system.

3D Printing is an additive manufacturing method that creates 3D objects from a digital model. Objects are built layer-by-layer using materials like plastic, metal, or organic matter on a printer bed. For objects larger than the printer bed, they are divided into sections and joined using interlocking methods. This research tested four types of beams (U beam, H beam, bar beam, and hollow beam) made from High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA) material with three types of loading (bending, axial, and torsion). The interlocking mechanism used male-to-female locking with variations in the male locker length. Stress analysis was conducted using Autodesk Inventor software. Results showed the best mechanisms: U beam - male locker length of 10 cm with the fastener position 5 cm from the base; bar beam and H beam model 1 - male locker length of 10 cm with the fastener position 1.67 cm from the base; H beam model 2 - male locker length of 20 cm with the fastener position 13.33 cm from the base; and hollow beam - male locker length of 5 cm with the fastener position 1.67 cm from the base. These lengths and positions yielded the largest safety factors, making them suitable for applications with those loads."

ABSTRACTCreating a three dimensional object using 3D printer basically need a microcontroller which could work optimal to control the movement of hot end to build a 3D object with best quality. Object creation process usually took hours, furthermore if there is sudden electricity supply cut, 3D printer must start the process from zero again. Hot end temperature need to be controlled at setpoint value based on filament characteristic that used altough sometimes hot end temperature did not controlled carefully indicate from temperature deviation from set point around 20-30 Celcius degree. Following that, level measurement on 3D printer heating bed which still use waterpass has small measurement accuracy. 3D printer need to be add some features such as auto continue printing based on latest line command that run by 3D printer, hot end PID tuning to get optimum PID constant, and auto bed levelling. All of that features are based on microcontroller Arduino Mega 2560 and Raspberry Pi 3 single board computer using C++ and programming language."

"This book provides a wealth of practical guidance on how to design parts to gain the maximum benefit from what additive manufacturing (AM) can offer. It begins by describing the main AM technologies and their respective advantages and disadvantages. It then examines strategic considerations in the context of designing for additive manufacturing (DfAM), such as designing to avoid anisotropy, designing to minimize print time, and post-processing, before discussing the economics of AM.
The following chapters dive deeper into computational tools for design analysis and the optimization of AM parts, part consolidation, and tooling applications. They are followed by an in-depth chapter on designing for polymer AM and applicable design guidelines, and a chapter on designing for metal AM and its corresponding design guidelines. These chapters also address health and safety, certification and quality aspects. A dedicated chapter covers the multiple post-processing methods for AM, offering the reader practical guidance on how to get their parts from the AM machine into a shape that is ready to use. The books final chapter outlines future applications of AM. "
