"This study aims to identify the utilization of repository collection at FMIPA UGM library using Eprints. It is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The subjects were librarians utilizing repository collection. The object was repository collection. Methods of data collection in this study were observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed quantitatively. The result of the study showed that the librarian managed to meet the target of uploading as many as 3100 documents in PDF file within 1 month (July 2014) but the proportion based on department was yet as expected. Average utilization of repository collections at FMIPA UGM library was 70.45%. This was considered as very good. The highest score of satisfaction was found in the quality of repository collection (87.75%) and the lowest was in the number of documents used (35.4%). Respondents used repository collection within 1-2 hours per day (80.0%). Respondents read and took notes (80.0%). As many as 87.75% of respondents considered that repository collection of FMIPA library was of good quality, particularly viewed from aspects of currency and relevance to user needs."

"ABSTRAKSalah satu fungsi perpustakaan perguruan tinggi adalah menyimpan koleksinya. Oleh karena itu, dengan perkembangan teknologi, berbagai koleksi simpanan yang terdapat di perpustakaan universitas kini sudah digital. Koleksi digital yang terdapat di perguruan tinggi membutuhkan kegiatan pelestarian digital untuk keuntungan masa depan. Penelitian ini membahas tentang kegiatan pengawetan digital untuk koleksi sarjana di Layanan E-Paper Perpustakaan Universitas Gunadarma. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perpustakaan Universitas Gunadarma telah melakukan kegiatan preservasi digital untuk Layanan E-Paper melalui kebijakan pelestarian, strategi pelestarian, hak cipta dan perjanjian, kebijakan konten, dan pelestarian keberlanjutan.ABSTRACTOne of the functions of a college library is to store its collections. Therefore, with the development of technology, various collections of deposits in university libraries have now become digital. The digital collections contained in universities require digital preservation activities for future benefits. This study discusses digital preservation activities for undergraduate collections at the Gunadarma University Library E-Paper Service. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and document review. The results showed that the Gunadarma University Library has carried out digital preservation activities for E-Paper Services through preservation policies, preservation strategies, copyrights and agreements, content policies, and sustainability preservation."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecenderungan mahasiswa Ilmu Perpustakaan FIB UI periode 2013-2017 dalam memilih lokasi penelitian dan topik untuk menyelesaikan tugas akhir. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang pola pemilihan lokus dan topik penelitian. Data menggunakan asumsi akhir dari mahasiswa Ilmu Perpustakaan FIB UI periode 2013-2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa cenderung memilih lokus selain pusat informasi atau lembaga informasi seperti perpustakaan dan pusat arsip dan catatan, tetapi melalui sumber lain seperti museum, film, novel, media sosial, penyebaran informasi, dan orang-orang sebagai objek penelitian oleh memeriksa pengetahuan, perilaku, dan perspektif tentang sesuatu. Kemajuan teknologi dan media informasi dan pengembangan ilmiah telah menyebabkan semakin banyak lokus dan topik penelitian yang dapat dieksplorasi dan tidak terbatas pada topik yang terkait dengan pusat informasi atau lembaga informasi, tetapi dapat meluas ke budaya informasi dalam masyarakat. Di sisi lain, penelitian dengan topik yang berkaitan dengan fasilitas dan layanan serta pengelolaan pusat informasi atau lembaga informasi juga banyak dibahas oleh mahasiswa Ilmu Perpustakaan FIB UI. Keberadaan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi fitur dan masukan untuk pertimbangan evaluasi bagi akademisi dan profesional di bidang keilmuan Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi untuk dapat mengembangkan bidang keilmuan menjadi lebih maju dan lebih baik serta dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan waktu

This study aims to determine the tendency of FIB UI Library Science students from 2013-2017 in choosing research locations and topics to complete the final project. This study also aims to get an overview of locus selection patterns and research topics. The data uses the final assumptions from the FIB UI Library Science students from 2013-2017. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The results show that students tend to choose loci other than information centers or information institutions such as libraries and records and records centers, but through other sources such as museums, films, novels, social media, information dissemination, and people as objects of research by examining knowledge, behavior, and perspective on something. Advances in technology and information media and scientific development have led to more and more locus and research topics that can be explored and are not limited to topics related to information centers or information institutions, but can extend to the information culture in society. On the other hand, research on topics relating to facilities and services as well as the management of information centers or information institutions is also widely discussed by UI Science FIB Library students. The existence of this research is expected to be a feature and input for evaluation considerations for academics and professionals in the field of library and information science to be able to develop the scientific field to become more advanced and better and be able to adjust to the time."
