"The aim of this paper is to expose an informal entrepreneurial learning pattern that is undertaken by the Minangkabau tribe in Indonesia and relate it to cultural dimension and perceived value of a society. This informal entrepreneurial learning pattern is called as ‘Merantau’ - which can simply be meant as ‘to emigrate’, in which the young males (mostly during the ages of 15-20, or even younger) leave their homeland; move to other places nationwide or abroad, and running entrepreneurial activities for their daily life. The existence of merantau as an informal cultural based entrepreneurial learning for the young Minangkabau tribe combined with their cultural dimension and perceived values have contributed to the creation of and bring positive impacts to entrepreneurial culture of the Minangkabau tribe. The Minangkabau tribe, as one of tribes in Indonesia, experiences very supportive social environment in which entrepreneurial culture is recognised as part of the way of life. Therefore, Minangkabau tribe is known as one of the most entrepreneurial tribes in Indonesia. This paper considers perceived value and cultural dimension that may bring consequence to entrepreneurial culture of a society, with particular analysis to Minangkabau tribe in Indonesia. Analysis is undertaken by considering the elements and index of cultural dimension and perceived values of a society that can create and intiate entreprenuerial habits and relate them to entrepreneurship. Result of the analysis shows an evidence that culture of a society also plays an important role to create and maintain entrepreneurial habits and experience of a society. Together with cultural dimension of a society, perceived values that a society has, also contributes to the creation of entrepreneurial culture of that society. This is shown in the context of the Minangkabau tribe who is well known as an entrepreneurial tribe in Indonesia. However, this study analyses one single cultural background from a specific tribe in Indonesia and since it was undertaken to a single cultural background, it will be worth to extend this study and investigation into several cultural and value backgrounds from various ethnic groups/tribes in Indonesia or any other countries. Comparatively, this will add knowledge and dimension regarding entrepreneurship and its relationship to cultural dimension and perceived values of a society/community/ethnic group."

"Previous studies found that culture significantly affects innovation in different settings. Nevertheless, the extensive body of literature places greater emphasis on the presumption that a country's culture is unified across the nation. Hence, the examination of this research holds particular significance within the context of Indonesia, a multicultural nation comprises of numerous distinct ethnicities and sub-ethnicities. The aim of this study is to examine the influence of Hofstede’s cultural dimension on the entrepreneurial innovativeness (EI) of East Javanese and Sundanese entrepreneurs. This study applies Hofstede's cultural dimensions: power distance, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance, collectivism, long-term orientation, and indulgence on entrepreneurs. Using the sub-ethnicities East Javanese and Sundanese as cases in point, the data from online survey were analyzed using simple regression technique for partial influence and multiple regression for the simultaneous influence of the six dimensions. To have a more comprehensive outlook of the findings, the Mann-Whitney U test and crosstabs were applied to each sub-ethnicity cultural dimension.

Literatur yang ada telah menunjukkan bahwa budaya memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap inovasi pada suatu perusahaan atau negara. Namun, literatur yang ada lebih banyak fokus pada asumsi bahwa sebuah negara tersusun atas satu budaya yang sama. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menjadi menarik untuk diteliti di negara multikultural seperti Indonesia yang memiliki ratusan etnik dan budaya berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komparatif nilai budaya nasional terhadap entrepreneurial innovation (EI) pada pengusaha Jawa Timur dan Sunda. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Hofstede yang meneliti kebudayaan nasional menggunakan enam dimensi, yaitu: power distance, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance, collectivism, long-term orientation, and indulgence. Dengan melakukan online survey pada para pengusaha Jawa Timur dan Sunda, data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknis analisis regresi sederhana untuk melihat pengaruh aspek budaya secara parsial dan regresi berganda untuk melihat pengaruh aspek budaya secara bersama-sama terhadap EI. Uji beda berdasarkan tes Mann-Whitney dan tabel silang dilakukan terhadap masing-masing kelompok responden untuk memberikan pemahaman terhadap hasil yang lebih baik."

"Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan salah satu penyumbang terpenting bagi perekonomian Indonesia. Di era digital, pemanfaatan e-commerce menjadi salah satu strategi untuk menghadapi persaingan dalam dunia bisnis yang semakin meningkat. Namun, UMKM di Indonesia masih dihadapkan pada berbagai kendala, terutama terkait penguasaan teknologi yang masih lemah dan pemanfaatan e-commerce yang belum optimal di dalam bisnis. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, diperlukan penyelidikan terhadap beberapa faktor yang mana dapat mendorong peningkatan kinerja UMKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan, kesiapan organisasi, manajemen pengetahuan, dan adopsi e-commerce yang diharapkan dapat mendorong peningkatan kinerja UMKM di era digital. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan di antara variabel-variabel ini adalah Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Penelitian ini melibatkan 241 pemilik/pengelola UMKM yang telah mengadopsi e-commerce dalam bisnisnya di industri makanan dan minuman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan organisasi, orientasi kewirausahaan, manajemen pengetahuan, dan adopsi e-commerce dapat meningkatkan kinerja UMKM yang menjalankan bisnis di industri makanan dan minuman. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik kepada pelaku UMKM untuk meningkatkan sumber daya internal organisasi secara optimal guna mencapai keunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan dan kinerja bisnis yang superior.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are among the most important contributors to the Indonesian economy. In the digital era, using e-commerce is one of the strategies to face the increasing competition in the business world. However, MSMEs in Indonesia are still faced with various obstacles, primarily related to the lack of mastery of technology and the unoptimized utilization of e-commerce in business. It is necessary to check the factors that can enhance MSME performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational readiness, entrepreneurial orientation, knowledge management, and e-commerce adoption, which are expected to improve MSME performance in the digital era. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) is used to test the relationship between these variables. This study involved 241 MSME owners/managers who have adopted e-commerce in their businesses in the food and beverage industry. The results showed that organizational readiness, entrepreneurial orientation, knowledge management, and e-commerce adoption can significantly improve the performance of MSMEs in food and beverage businesses. These findings better explain how MSME players can optimally improve their internal organizational resources to achieve sustainable competitive advantage and superior business performance.

Orientasi kewirausahaan dan kapabilitas dinamik telah menjadi subjek
penelitian yang menarik berkaitan dengan organisasi yang menghadapi
ketidakpastian lingkungan eksternal. Implementasi dari orientasi kewirausahaan
dan kapabilitas dinamik diharapkan mampu mendorong kinerja organisasi ke
tingkat yang lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini mengenai analisis pengaruh dari orientasi
kewirausahaan dan kapabilitas dinamik terhadap kinerja dalam menghadapi
ketidakpastian lingkungan eksternal.
Unit analisisnya merupakan karyawan manajerial bandar udara yang
dikelola salah satu Badan Usaha Milik Negara di Indonesia. Hasil temuannya
adalah walaupun orientasi kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh yang positif
terhadap kapabilitas dinamik, namun orientasi kewirausahaan tidak memiliki
pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kinerja. Kombinasi antara orientasi kewirausahaan
dan kapabilitas dinamik merupakan sumber potensial untuk menciptakan
keunggulan kompetitif dan peningkatan kinerja dalam menghadapi ketidakpastian
lingkungan eksternal.

ABSTRACT
Orientation entrepreneurial and dynamic capability have been the subject of
interesting research related to organization facing uncertainty of the external
environment. Implementation of entrepreneurial orientation and dynamic
capability are expected to drive performance of the organization to a higher level.
This study about the effect of entrepreneurial orientation and dynamic capabilities
on performance in the face of the uncertainty of external environment.
The unit of analysis are airports managerial employees managed by one of
the State-Owned Enterprises in Indonesia. Although its findings are

"Penggunaan aplikasi yang semakin beragam di perusahaan maupun organisasi menuntut adanya proses integrasi antar aplikasi. Hal ini dikarenakan untuk menjaga integritas dari data dan aplikasi. Salah satu metode pengintegrasian aplikasi pada perusahaan yang umum digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan Enterprises Service Bus (ESB). Minimnya pembahasan dan praktik mengenai penggunaan ESB pada perkuliahan Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) di Fasilkom UI membuat perlu adanya pengembangan learning environment penerapan ESB. Learning Environment ini dibuat dengan tujuan agar mahasiswa mendapatkan pengalaman dalam menggunakan ESB. Pada proses pengembangan turut dibandingkan dua buah open source software ESB yakni WSO2 ESB dan MuleSoft ESB. Perbandingan bertujuan untuk mengetahui ESB yang lebih sesuai untuk digunakan pada learning environment. Hasil perbandingan memaparkan kelebihan dan kekurangan masing-masing, serta kesesuaian ESB untuk digunakan pada learning environment.

Various application usage in enterprise or organizational level strives for the need of integration between applications. This happened to keep data and application integrity in enterprises or organization. One from many approach for integrating application in enterprises is using Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). The minimum number of practice about ESB in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) course at Faculty of Computer Science Universitas Indonesia makes the need of learning environment development for applying ESB. This learning environment aims to make students experienced with the usage of ESB. In the learning environment development process, there’s also benchmarking between two open source ESBs WSO2 ESB and Mulesoft ESB. This aims to know which ESB is more appropriate for the usage in learning environment. The results roll out the advantage and disadvantage of each ESB for the use in learning environment."

"Entrepreneurial education sangat diperlukan dalam upaya meningkatkan entrepreneurial mindset mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh entrepreneurial education terhadap entrepreneurial mindset mahasiswa dengan self-efficacy sebagai variabel mediasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melakukan survei terhadap 300 mahasiswa di Universitas Indonesia. Data diolah dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) menggunakan tools SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa entrepreneurial education berpengaruh positif terhadap entrepreneurial mindset mahasiswa, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi self-efficacy. Selain itu, self- efficacy juga diketahui memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap entrepreneurial mindset mahasiswa.

Entrepreneurial education plays a crucial role in fostering entrepreneurial mindset among students. This study aims to examine the impact of entrepreneurial education on students' entrepreneurial mindset, with self-efficacy serving as a mediating variable. Employing a quantitative approach, the research surveyed 300 students at University of Indonesia and applied Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS 4 software for data analysis. The findings reveal that entrepreneurial education positively influences students' entrepreneurial mindset, both directly and indirectly through the mediation of self-efficacy. Furthermore, self-efficacy is identified as exerting a positive influence on students' entrepreneurial mindset."

Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti juga menambahkan variabel moderasi yaitu turbulensi lingkungan dan Networking Capability untuk menguji apakah masing-masing variabel tersebut dapat meningkatkan pengaruh Orientasi pasar dan Orientasi Wirausaha terhadap kinerja pengembangan produk baru. Alat uji yang digunakan adalah SEM PLS. Penelitian ini berimplikasi secara teoritis dan manajerial. Secara teoritis, penelitian ini berkontribusi memperkaya konsep strategic entrepreneurship dan secara manajerial memberikan arah kepada manajer maupun pelaku usaha dalam menerapkan Oreintasi Pasar dan Orientasi Wirausaha dan juga factor yang mempengaruhinya terhadap pengembangan produk baru. Dengan demikian tingkat manajerial dapat menciptakan faktor-faktor pendukung yang kuat dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja dari Pengembangan produk baru.

This study examines the effect of market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of new product development in the fashion industry in DKI Jakarta. In this study, researchers also added moderating variables namely environmental turbulence and Networking Capability to test whether each of these variables can increase the influence of market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of new product development. Test equipment used is SEM PLS. This research has theoretical and managerial implications. Theoretically, this research contributes to the enrichment of the concept of strategic entrepreneurship and managerially provides direction to managers and business people in implementing Market Ore across and Entrepreneurial Orientation and also the factors that influence it on new product development. Thus the managerial level can create strong supporting factors in order to improve the performance of new product development."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh orientasi kepada pelanggan
dan orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap persepsi mengenai efisiensi dan efektivitas
ritel kecil. Data untuk penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu
penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung pada 130 pemilik ritel kecil dan diolah
menggunakan program SPSS 22 dan LISREL 8.51. Penelitian ini dilakukan di
Kota Depok, Jawa Barat. Setelah penelitian dilakukan selama bulan April hingga
Juni 2015 didapati penerapan strategi orientasi pelanggan pada ritel kecil
berpengaruh secara positif terhadap kinerja bisnis. Lain halnya dengan orientasi
kewirausahaan yang tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kinerja bisnis
melainkan harus mempengaruhi orientasi pelanggan terlebih dahulu. Dimana
orientasi kewirausahaan juga mempengaruhi terjadinya orientasi pelanggan.
Kinerja bisnis yang dimaksudkan pada penelitian ini yakni efisiensi dan
efektivitas.
ABSTRACT
This study aimed to analyze the effect of orientation to customer and
entrepreneurial orientation towards effectiveness and efficiency perceptions of
small retail. Data for this research using quantitative methods for distributing
questionnaires directly to the 130 owners of small retail and processed using SPSS
22 and LISREL 8.51. This research was conducted in Depok City, West Java.
After the study was conducted during the months of April to June 2015 found the
application of the strategy of customer orientation on small retail impact
positively on the performance of the business. As with the entrepreneurial
orientation that does not directly affect business performance, but should affect
customer orientation first. The entrepreneurial orientation also affect the
occurrence of customer orientation. Business performance intended in this
research are effectiveness and efficiency."

"Kontribusi UKM pada perekonomian Indonesia mencapai 60%. UKM memiliki kekuatan dan keterbatasan yang berbeda dengan perusahaan besar. Tujuan utama dari studi ini adalah untuk mencari tahu cara memaksimalkan kinerja pemasaran UKM dengan menganalisis dimensi entrepreneurial marketing dan kelompok strategi pemasaran. Berdasarkan data dari 130 UKM di Indonesia, studi ini berhasil mengidentifikasi tujuh dimensi entrepreneurial marketing dan lima kelompok UKM berdasarkan strategi pemasarannya. Dengan menggunakan profile deviation pada concept of fit, ditemukan bahwa kelompok UKM pemasar tradisional yang dikombinasikan dengan orientasi proaktif akan menghasilkan pertumbuhan pasar yang maksimum, sedangkan kelompok UKM pemasar masal dengan orientasi yang terfokus pada pelanggan, akan menghasilkan profit yang paling maksimum.

SME contribute to 60% of Indonesia’s GDP, with its strengths and limitations, SME differ from established companies. The aim of this study is to analyse how to maximise SME marketing performance by combining its entrepreneurial marketing dimensions and marketing strategy clusters. Based on 130 Indonesia SMEs, this study identified seven entrepreneurial marketing dimensions and five marketing strategy clusters. The traditional marketers cluster combined with proactive orientation will get the maximum market growth, while the mass marketer cluster combined with customer focus orientation will result in maximising profitability."
