"Smooth Cayenne is the largest pineapple type cultivated in Indonesia, but its vegetative planting materials for mass propagation are limited. Somatic embryogenesis is a potential method to be applied. The aim of this study was to investigate the somatic embryogenesis regeneration under the effect of picloram and light. Callus formation was induced by picloram (21, 41 and 62 μM) added with 9 μM thidiazuron. The calli were transferred onto MS or Bac medium enriched with N-organic compounds with or without addition of 21 μM picloram under dark or light condition. The compact calli were subcultured onto MS medium supplemented with 4.65 μM kinetin, while the friable calli were transferred onto BIG medium (modified MS + 1.1 μM benzyl adenine + 0.9 μM indole butyric acid + 0.09 μM giberelic acid) or B medium (MS + 0.018 mM benzyl adenine). The results showed that the events of somatic embryogenesis were started from cell polarization, asymmetrical division, proembryo formation as embryogenic tissues and friable embryogenic tissues, and embryo development. The best treatment for callus induction was 21 μM picloram. The addition of 21 μM picloram on N-organic enriched medium and the use of light condition proliferated embryogenic calli. The N-organic enriched Bac medium and light condition yielded the highest number of mature somatic embryos (17 embryos per
explant in 2 months). The B medium was better than BIG medium to develop somatic embryos from friable embryogenic tissues. The somatic embryogenesis method presented is potential for pineapple mass propagation and artificial seed
production."

"This study investigates the impact of the Indonesia-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (IJEPA) on Indonesia's agricultural exports to Japan, focusing on how tariff reduction or eliminations under the agreement influence Indonesia’s agricultural exports. Utilizing a gravity model and Difference-in-Difference (DiD) method, the findings reveal that while tariff reductions are crucial for enhancing trade, the anticipated benefits of IJEPA on Indonesia’s overall agricultural exports may not be immediately evident. However, the agreement has shown a positive and significant impact on the export of raw agricultural products, suggesting that Indonesia could benefit from focusing on these goods. This highlights the need for addressing non-tariff measures, improving export infrastructure, and leveraging the comparative advantages offered by IJEPA to boost raw agricultural exports to Japan.

Penelitian ini menganalisis dampak Indonesia-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (IJEPA) terhadap ekspor agrikultur Indonesia ke Jepang, dengan fokus pada bagaimana penghapusan atau penurunan tarif dalam perjanjian tersebut mempengaruhi ekspor agrikultur Indonesia ke Jepang. Penelitian ini menggunakan model gravity dan metode Difference-in-Difference (DiD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pengurangan tarif sangat penting untuk meningkatkan perdagangan, manfaat yang diharapkan dari IJEPA terhadap ekspor agrikultur Indonesia mungkin tidak segera terlihat. Namun, perjanjian tersebut menunjukkan dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap ekspor produk agrikultur mentah, yang mengindikasikan bahwa Indonesia dapat mengambil manfaat dengan fokus pada produk-produk ini. Hal ini menekankan perlunya mempertimbangkan hambatan non-tarif (non-tariff measures), meningkatkan infrastruktur ekspor, dan memanfaatkan keunggulan komparatif yang ditawarkan oleh IJEPA untuk meningkatkan ekspor produk agrikultur mentah ke Jepang."

"Sektor pertanian berkontribusi besar terhadap perekonomian Indonesia. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan kontribusi yang besar terhadap PDB dan penyerapan tenaga kerja. Akan tetapi, masih banyak petani masuk dalam kategori penduduk miskin. Pemerintah melakukan kebijakan pemberian subsidi pupuk kepada petani sebagai bentuk kehadiran pemerintah untuk membantu kesejahteraan petani. Kesejahteraan petani diukur dengan nilai tukar petani. Tren realisasi subsidi pupuk semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Sedangkan nilai tukar petani cendrung berfluktuatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kebijakan subsidi pupuk pemerintah berpengaruh terhadap nilai tukar petani di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel dari seluruh provinsi di Indonesia selama 6 tahun (2016-2021). Analisis data menggunakan model fixed effect. Variabel kontrol pada penelitian ini adalah PDRB, inflasi, dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Hasilnya adalah subsidi pupuk terbukti secara statistik berpangaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai tukar petani. Hal ini berarti subsidi pupuk mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani Variabel PDRB dan pertumubuhan ekomi juga terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan. Sedangkan inflasi tidak berpengaruh terhap nilai tukar petan

The agricultural sector makes a major contribution to the Indonesian economy. This is proven by the large contribution to GDP and employment. However, there are still many farmers who fall into the category of poor people. The government carried out a policy of providing fertilizer subsidies to farmers as a form of government presence to help the welfare of farmers. Welfare of farmers is measured by the exchange rate of farmers. The trend of fertilizer subsidy realization is increasing from year to year. Meanwhile, farmer exchange rates tend to fluctuate. This study aims to determine whether the government's fertilizer subsidy policy affects farmers' exchange rates in Indonesia. This research uses panel data from all provinces in Indonesia for 6 years (2016- 2021). Data analysis uses a fixed effect model. Control variables in this study are GRDP, inflation, and economic growth. The result is that fertilizer subsidies are statistically proven to have a significant positive effect on farmers' exchange rates. This means that fertilizer subsidies are able to increase the welfare of farmers. GRDP variables and economic growth have also proven to have a significant positive effect. While inflation has no effect on farmers' exchange rates."

Ketahanan pangan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu ketersediaan pangan, aspek pangan, pemanfaatan pangan dan kerentanan pangan. Aspek yang dapat mempengaruhi  kerentanan pangan adalah penurunan produktivitas pangan, salah satunya adalah tanaman padi yang merupakan pangan pokok di Indonesia. Penyebab penurunan produktivitas padi adalah kondisi kerentanan lingkungan suatu wilayah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyusun model spasial produktivitas padi berdasarkan kerentanan lingkungan pada tiap fase tanam dengan menggunakan pendekatan teknologi inderaja dan SIG. Model spasial ini disusun berdasarkan hasil aplikasi dua model yaitu model spasial fase tanam dan model produktivitas padi. Pemodelan spasial untuk melihat sebaran fase tanam padi menggunakan metode klasifikasi random forest mempunyai akurasi keseluruhan sebesar 0,92 yang membagi fase tanam padi menjadi fase awal tanam, fase vegetatif, fase generatif dan fase bera. Variabel yang digunakan untuk membangun model spasial fase tanam padi adalah kombinasi indeks vegetasi yaitu NDVI, EVI, SAVI, NDWI, dan variabel waktu. Pemodelan spasial untuk estimasi produktivitas padi juga menggunakan model regresi dengan variabel rawan bencana yaitu bencana banjir, kekeringan, longsor dan variabel curah hujan. Algoritma dibangun berdasarkan kondisi fase tanam padi. Estimasi produktivitas padi berdasarkan pengaruh kerentanan lingkungan ini memiliki akurasi paling baik dilakukan pada fase vegetatif yaitu sebesar 0,63  dan fase generatif sebesar 0,61, sedangkan pada fase awal tanam tidak dapat digunakan untuk mengestimasi produktivitas padi karena memiliki hubungan yang lemah dengan  akurasi sebesar 0,35.


Food security is influenced by several factors, such as food availability, food aspect, food utilization and food vulnerability. An aspect that can affect food vulnerability is food productivity decline, such as rice. Since rise is the staple food in Indonesia, its productivity decline most likely will affect Indonesia`s food vulnerability. The cause of the rice productivity decrement is the condition of environmental vulnerability of a region. The purpose of this study is to build a spatial model of rice productivity based on environmental vulnerability in each planting phase using remote sensing and GIS technology. Spatial model is built based on the result of implementation of two models which are planting phase model and rice productivity model. Spatial modelling that is built to understand the distribution of rice planting phases applied random forest classification method with an overall accuracy of 0,92. The classification result divides the rice planting phase into the initial phase of planting, vegetative, generative and fallow phase. The variables used to build spatial model of the rice planting phase are a combination of vegetation indexes namely NDVI, EVI, SAVI, NDWI, and time variables. Spatial modeling for estimating rice productivity also uses regression model with disaster-prone variables, namely floods, droughts, landslides and rainfall variables. The algorithm is built based on the condition of the rice planting phase. Estimation of rice productivity based on the influence of environmental vulnerability has the best accuracy in the vegetative phase equal to 0,63 and generative phase 0,61, whereas in the initial phase of planting it cannot be used to estimate rice productivity due to its weak relationship with accuracy 0,35.

Analisa pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisa deskriptif yang menjelaskan terjadinya peralihan potensi lahan menjadi kawasan industri. Potensi lahan di dapatkan dari hasil scoring dan overlay. Pemberian nilai ini mengacu pada variabel (topografi, litologi, kemampuan tanah dan hidrologi) yang di jumlah dan di kali dengan variabel pembatas (banjir, erosi, dan salinitas tanah) untuk selanjutnya di analisa mengenai peralihan potensi lahan, dimana lahan yang harusnya sangat baik untuk pertanian beralih fungsi menjadi kawasan industri.
