"Penelitian ini membahas tentang perilaku informasi para pemain Genshin Impact. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kebutuhan informasi, sumber informasi, dan perilaku pencarian informasi pemain Genshin Impact. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan penelitian ini ditetapkan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara secara daring kepada para pemain Genshin Impact. Data yang telah didapatkan kemudian diolah dengan melakukan reduksi data, display data, serta verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan informasi pemain Genshin Impact adalah mekanik permainan berupa elemental reaction dan combat, eksplorasi berupa eksplorasi peta dan cerita, serta team building. Sumber informasi yang digunakan oleh pemain Genshin Impact seluruhnya berasal dari internet dengan sumber berupa penyedia layanan video, komunitas online, maupun hasil diskusi dengan pemain lain. Kemudian, perilaku pencarian informasi para pemain Genshin Impact mengikuti seluruh tahapan pada model Information Search Process milik Kuhlthau dengan perbedaan pada tahapan exploration. Perbedaan ini dapat dikaitkan dengan pengalaman dalam bermain dan mencari informasi yang telah dimiliki oleh para informan.

This research discusses the information behavior of Genshin Impact players. The purpose of this research is to analyze the information needs, information sources, and information seeking behavior of Genshin Impact players. This research method was carried out with a qualitative approach. The informants of this study were determined using purposive sampling method. Data collection was carried out by online interviews with Genshin Impact players. The data that has been obtained is then processed by reducing data, displaying data, and verifying and drawing conclusions The results showed that the information needs of Genshin Impact players are game mechanics in the form of elemental reaction and combat, exploration in the form of map and story exploration, and team building. The sources of information used by Genshin Impact players all come from the internet with sources in the form of video service providers, online communities, and the results of discussions with other players. Then, the information search behavior of Genshin Impact players follows all stages in Kuhlthau's Information Search Process model with differences at the exploration stage. This difference can be attributed to the experience in playing and seeking information that the informants have had."
