"Permasalahan mengenai tingginya emisi karbon dari aktivitas bangunan meningkatkan urgensi untuk pengaplikasian bangunan hijau. Sistem yang digunakan untuk menilai performa bangunan hijau dinamakan Green Building Rating Systems (GBRS). GBRS ini sudah tersebar di berbagai bagian dunia, dari mulai wilayah Eropa hingga Asia. Namun, studi eksisting mengenai perbandingan GBRS masih terbatas pada analisis poin dari indikator terbarunya. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah mengisi kesenjangan terhadap studi perbandingan GBRS, terutama mengenai perubahan indikator, isu yang melatarbelakanginya serta potensi pengembangannya di masa depan. Penulisan ini secara spesifik berisi tentang analisis perbandingan GBRS Internasional (BREEAM, LEED, DGNB) dengan GBRS Indonesia (Greenship). Perbandingan berbasis LEED dilakukan dengan cara meninjau indikator dan sub-indikator masing-masing GBRS dari instruksi manual. Hasil perbandingan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa keterbukaan jumlah poin adalah aspek yang krusial dalam proses penilaian. Studi ini juga menunjukkan bahwa tingginya biaya sertifikasi tidak selalu menunjukkan lembaga for-profit. Selain itu, setiap GBRS yang dibanding memiliki ruang untuk berkembang, terutama dari GBRS lainya.

Environmental issues such as the high carbon emissions from building activities increased the urgency of green building application. The system that is used to assess the performance of green buildings is called Green Building Rating Systems (GBRS). GBRS have spread in various parts of the world, from Europe to Asia. However, existing studies on comparisons of GBRS are limited to weight analysis of the most recent version of manuals. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to fill the gaps in the comparative studies of the Green Building Rating System, especially regarding changes in indicators, underlying issues, and potentials for future developments. This writing specifically contains a comparative analysis of the International GBRS (BREEAM, LEED, DGNB) with the GBRS from Indonesia (Greenship). LEED-based comparisons were made by reviewing the indicators and sub-indicators of each GBRS from the instruction manuals. The result of this comparison shows that the disclosure of the number of points is a crucial aspect in the assessment process. This study also shows that the high cost of certification does not always indicate a for-profit institution. In addition, every GBRS that is compared has room to grow, especially from other GBRS."
