Film ini ditujukan untuk ribuan masyarakat adat dan masyarakat lokal di seluruh Indonesia, yang lahannya berdekatan atau berada di dalam wilayah konsensi HTI, atau di wilayah di mana izin baru HTI direncanakan.Film ini bedasarkan suara-suara masyarakat dari 8 komunitas di Papua, Sumatra Utara, Riau dan Jambi, yang telah kehilangan sebagian atau semua tanah leluhur mereka untuk dijadikan HTI. Kita akan mendengar dampak yang sudah mereka alami terkait ekonomi, kampung, air, budaya, bahan pangan serta hak-hak atas tanah mereka. Film ini juga memperlihatkan bagaimana masyarakat mengorganisir diri untuk menghadapi tantangan tersebut."
