"Latar Belakang: Tahun pertama tahap pendidikan merupakan fase yang cukup berat bagi mahasiswa kedokteran. Seleksi mahasiswa menjadi tugas yang sulit dalam menyaring calon mahasiswa yang diprediksi dapat optimal mengikuti proses pendidikan sejak tahun pertama hingga tahap akhir pendidikan. Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Malahayati (FK UNIMAL) melaksanakan ujian tulis sebagai seleksi mahasiswa. FK UNIMAL melakukan pemeriksaan psikologi (instrumen SPM) sebagai tambahan (data formatif) setelah mahasiswa diterima untuk mengetahui potensi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil seleksi ujian tulis dan hasil pemeriksaan psikologi mahasiswa dapat menjadi prediktor performa mahasiswa FK UNIMAL angkatan 2013 pada tahun pertama. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kohort retrospektif menggunakan data seluruh mahasiswa FK UNIMAL angkatan 2013 (total sampling). Data terdiri atas hasil seleksi ujian tulis, hasil pemeriksaan psikologi (instrumen SPM), dan performa mahasiswa tahun pertama (Indeks Prestasi /IP semester 1, IP semester 2 dan IP Kumulatif /IPK tahun pertama). Data yang diperoleh di analisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji komparatif Mann-Whitney dan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil: Data yang diperoleh secara lengkap sejumlah 431. Terdapat hubungan dengan korelasi yang lemah antara hasil seleksi ujian tulis dengan IPK tahun pertama (r=0.100, p=0.039) dan dengan IP semester 1 (r=0.122, p=0.011). Terdapat hubungan antara hasil pemeriksaan psikologi (instrumen SPM) dengan seluruh performa mahasiswa pada tahun pertama (p<0.001). Terdapat hubungan antara asal sekolah dengan IPK tahun pertama (p=0.017). Terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin dan asal sekolah dengan IP semester 2 (p<0.05). Kesimpulan: Hasil pemeriksaan psikologi (instrumen SPM) merupakan prediktor positif terhadap seluruh performa mahasiswa FK UNIMAL angkatan 2013 pada tahun pertama. Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungannya dengan performa mahasiswa pada tahap pendidikan tahun berikutnya hingga menjadi dokter.

Background: The first year of medical education is a difficult phase for medical students. Student selection is a difficult task to screen candidates that are predicted to be able optimally to follow the educational process from the first year until the final stage of education. Faculty of Medicine, University of Malahayati (FK Unimal) has implemented a written entry test as student selection. FK Unimal also implemented psychological test using standard progressive matrics (SPM) instruments as a supplement (formative data) to the students who are accepted, to determine the potential of students. This study aims to determine wether the result of the written selection test and the psychology test can be a predictor for the performance of first year medical students batch 2013of Malahayati University.

Method: This study is a retrospective cohort study using data of all students of FK Unimal batch 2013 (total sampling). The data consists of the written test selection results, psychology test results (SPM instruments), and first year medical student performance (gradepoint index, or Indeks Prestasi/IP of semester 1, IP of semester 2, and a first-year grade-point average/IPK). The data obtained are analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis using the Mann-Whitney comparative test and Spearman correlation test.

Result: The complete data are obtained from 431 students. There is weak correlation between the written test selection results with the first-year IPK (r=0,100, p=0,039) and with IP of semester 1 (r = 0.122, p = 0.011). Correlation is also seen between the psychology test results (SPM instruments) with the whole performance of students in the first year (p <0.001). There is correlation between school origin with the first-year IPK (p = 0.048). Correlation is also seen between gender and school origin with IP on semester 2 (p <0.05).

Conclusion: The psychology test results are positive predictor of first year medical student performance FK Unimal batch 2013. Further study is required to determine the correlation with medical student performance in the following years until graduation as a doctor."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran mediasi afek pada hubungan antara work passion dan kinerja karyawan. Self-determination theory digunakan sebagai landasan model penelitian ini. Data diperoleh dari 319 karyawan yang bekerja di berbagai perusahaan dengan berbagai jabatan di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan macro PROCESS Hayes pada IBM Statistics SPSS, ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan tidak langsung antara harmonious work passion dan kinerja melalui afek positif. Selain itu, ditemukan pula bahwa afek positif memediasi secara penuh hubungan antara obsessive work passion dengan kinerja.

This study aims to investigate the mediating role of affect on the relationship between work passion and job performance. This research is based on Self determination theory to explain the relationship among study variables. The data was obtained from 319 employees working in various companies in Indonesia. Using the Hayes rsquo PROCESS macro on IBM Statistics SPSS, it was found that there was an indirect relationship between harmonious work passion and performance through positive affect. In addition, it was also found that positive affect also fully mediate the relationship between obsessive work passion and job performance. "

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan sikap percaya pada pemimpin dan iklim psikologis terhadap komitmen perubahan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di organisasi pemerintahan di Jakarta. Kuesioner yang digunakan diadaptasi dari 3 alat ukur, yaitu: Commitment to Change Inventory, Trust in the Leader Inventory, dan Psychological Climate Inventory. Ketiga alat ukur ini diterjemahkan ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. "Studi ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah kehadiran audiens fisik dan virtual saat melakukan tugas yang mudah mempengaruhi performa individu. Partisipan terdiri dari 30 mahasiswa yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling dan dibagi menjadi tiga kondisi yaitu kondisi tidak ada audiens, kondisi audiens dalam satu ruangan, dan kondisi audiens virtual. Setiap kondisi terdiri dari sepuluh peserta. Peserta diminta untuk membalik dengan benar sebanyak mungkin huruf di tabel dalam waktu dua menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta dalam kondisi audiens fisik dan virtual merasa lebih teramati daripada peserta tanpa audiens. Namun demikian, tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam pengamatan peserta terhadap kondisi fisik dan virtual saat mengerjakan tugas. Selain itu, hasil yang diharapkan peserta untuk melihat perbedaan kinerja peserta dalam kedua kondisi audiens menjadi lebih baik dan melihat fasilitasi sosial yang tidak ditemukan dalam penelitian ini. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya diulas lebih lanjut.

The study aims to see if the presence of the audience, both physical and virtual while doing an easy task impacts individual performance. Participants included 30 university students recruited using the convenience sampling

technique and divided into three conditions, namely no audience condition, physical audience condition, and virtual audience condition. Each condition consists of ten participants. Participants were asked to perform a letter inversion task within two minutes. The results showed that participants in both physical and virtual audience conditions felt more observed than participants in the no audience condition. However, there was no significant difference in how observed the participants feel between the physical and virtual conditions while

doing the task. Moreover, the expected results of a difference in participants’ performance in the audience conditions as a function of social facilitation was not found in this study. Suggestions for future research are further discussed."

"Penelitian ini didasari oleh fenomena pentingnya mengunjungi perpustakaan. Perpustakaan memiliki dampak yang positif menunjang proses belajar pada mahasiswa dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi, membantu kegiatan belajar seperti diskusi dan penyelesaian tugas-tugas karena perpustakaan dianggap sebagai pusat informasi di kampus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara kecemasan perpustakaan dan performa akademis. Alat ukur kecemasan perpustakaan "Library Anxiety Scale" (LAS) yang dikembangkan oleh Bostick (1993) yang terdiri dari 32 item dan responden sebanyak 193 mahasiswa dari Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Indonesia dengan teknik pengambilan data melalui accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis null diterima (r= .034, p <.05), yang berarti tidak terbukti hubungan signifikan antara kecemasan perpustakaan dengan Performa akademis. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah mampu menjelaskan kecemasan perpustakaan di fakultas psikologi terhadap perpustakaan psikologi universitas indonesia. Hasil penelitian juga menjelaskan secara kualitatif bagaimana respon yang muncul dari bentuk kecemasan perpustakaan yang kemudian berimplikasi pada performa akademis.

This study is based on the phenomenon of the importance of visiting the library. Libraries have a positive impact on student learning support with the aim of improving the literacy skills, helping and learning activities such as discussions and completion of tasks because the library is considered as an information center on campus.

This study aims to clarify the relationship between library anxiety and academic performance. Measuring tool library anxiety "Library Anxiety Scale" (LAS) developed by Bostick (1993), which consists of 32 items and the respondent as many as 193 students from the Faculty of Psychology, University of Indonesia with the data collection technique through accidental sampling.

The results showed that the null hypothesis is accepted (r = .034, p <.05), which means not proved a significant association between library anxiety with academic performance. The implication of this study is able to explain library anxiety in the psychology department of the library of the university psychology Indonesia. The results also explain qualitatively how the responses that emerged from the shape library anxiety that then has implications for academic performance."
