Bentuknya yang khas dan unik telah meninggalkan ciri tersendiri dan merupakan tahap lanjutan dari periode arsitektur Hindia Belanda yang menandai era peralihan dari kolonial ke langgam Indonesia modern."

The matter of identity has always been an on-going discussion through out the history of Indonesian Architecture. For a long time now, the idea of identity changes from one period to the other, and architecture grows in accordance to its society and recent happenings. This thesis is a descriptive writing discussing the identity of Indonesian Architecture; finding a common denominator as we look through the history of Indonesian Architecture. This thesis aims to understand further on what identity of Indonesian Architecture is in the contemporary era, and how the identity of Indonesian Architecture is represented in the current era by looking at some of the newly renovated buildings in Gelora Bung Karno as examples."

"Komik merupakan medium unik yang menggabungkan dua jenis representasi yaitu gambar dan teks untuk menyampaikan informasi dengan harapan dapat menghasilkan respon tertentu dari pembaca. Arsitektur di dalam komik tidak hanya digunakan sebagai background untuk menginformasikan kepada pembaca dimana suatu adegan terjadi (sense of place) dan untuk membangun emosi tertentu (sense of depth), namun arsitektur juga dapat digunakan sebagai elemen pembangun cerita di dalam komik. Studi kasus yang digunakan adalah komik "Yes is More, An Archicomic of Architectural Evolution" oleh BIG dan komik "Durarara" oleh Ryohgo Narita, Suzuhito Yasuda dan Akiyo Satorigi.

Comic book is a unique medium which combines two kinds of representations, images and words, to convey informations in hope to gain response from the readers. Architecture in comic book is not only used as background to establish sense of place and sense of depth to the readers, but also can be used as the constructor elements of the story in the comic book. The cases study for this topic are "Yes is More, An Archicomic of Architectural Evolution", a comic book by BIG and "Durarara", a comic book by Ryohgo Narita, Suzuhito Yasuda and Akiyo Satorigi."

"Integrated urban space is that if the elements inside funtionally comprehensible links, structurally in clear spatial order, and think about the importance of historical, cultural and social values. In this study, the urban area of Surakarta is look into part of that objective: how is the condition of norm and function factors of integration. The process of analysis utilized description and exploration method to procure norm and function condition. The output is integration of Surakarta area faces problems -- especially about those two factor and should be merged into a whole."
