"Teknologi aplikasi berbasis web pada masa kini sudah semakin maju, tidak hanya mampu menampilkan format berbasis teks namun juga telah mendukung penggunaan file-file multimedia berupa audio, maupun video. Sehingga seharusnya tren dalam e-learning pun mengikuti perkembangan ini. Portal Elearning seharusnya menggunakan file-file multimedia termasuk videoconference, dimana antar pengajar dan pembelajar dapat bertatap muka secara realtime untuk menambah ketertarikan, dan juga pemahaman peserta didik pada pembelajaran jarak jauh melalui Internet. Salah satu sistem e-learning yang mempunyai fitur videoconference ini adalah Dokeos LMS 1.8.5.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa traffik yang dihasilkan oleh fitur videoconference tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan resolusi web camera yang bervariasi (0.3MP, 1.3MP, dan 2.0MP) pada sisi client.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan jika resolusi web camera yang digunakan client semakin besar maka traffik yang dihasilkan akan semakin besar, baik pada fitur virtual classroom maupun virtual meeting. Throughput pada virtual classroom maupun throughput virtual meeting adalah relatif sama jika menggunakan resolusi web camera yang sama. Paket data videoconference pada fitur virtual meeting lebih banyak yang mengalami delay daripada fitur virtual classroom, sehingga kualitas videoconference virtual classroom lebih baik. Namun besar delay videoconference kedua fitur tersebut (sekitar 40ms ) masih memenuhi rekomendasi G.114 ITU-T.

Web-based application technology today are more and more advanced, not only capable of displaying text-based format but also has supported the use of multimedia files such as audio, and video. So, The trend in e-learning should follows the development of web technology. E-learning portal should use multimedia files including videoconference in where between teachers and learners can look each other in real-time to add interest, and also increase students comprehension on distance learning via the Internet. One of the e-learning systems that have videoconference feature is Dokeos LMS 1.8.5.
This study aims to analyze the traffic that is produced by videoconference features on Dokeos. The approach used in this research is to use web camera vary in resolution (0.3MP, 1.3MP, dan 2.0MP) on the client side.
The research shows that the greater web-resolution camera that is used at the client side, the greater traffic will be produced. Throughput on virtual classroom feature and throughput from virtual meeting feature is relatively same if web camera resolution that is used is same. There are many packet data of virtual meeting that experience more delay than virtual classroom packet data, so that the quality of service from virtual classroom feature is better than virtual meeting. But both of videoconference features has delay (about 40ms) that still meet the ITU-T G.114 recommendation.

"Penelitian ini didasari oleh tampilan antarmuka aplikasi LMSKU sebagai platform edukasi keuangan yang masih memiliki sejumlah permasalahan dari segi usability. LMSKU merupakan learning management system (LMS) yang dimiliki oleh lembaga negara dan dirancang dengan tujuan untuk menyediakan edukasi keuangan untuk masyarakat Indonesia. Meskipun LMSKU memiliki kapabilitas yang cukup signifikan, platform ini masih menghadapi sejumlah permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan usability. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi kegunaan usability LMSKU dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan antarmuka dengan tujuan meningkatkan usability aplikasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode user-centered design dengan dua iterasi yang masing-masing menghasilkan desain high-fidelity. Berdasarkan kuesioner daring (n = 65) dan wawancara, baik daring maupun luring (n = 19), terdapat 42 kelompok masalah usability yang dipetakan sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Usability Heuristic. Selanjutnya, hasil pengembangan solusi desain iterasi pertama dievaluasi dengan moderated usability testing (UT) dan penyebaran kuesioner System Usability Scale (SUS) secara daring serta iterasi kedua hanya dengan moderated usability testing (UT) saja. Hasil akhir evaluasi kuantitatif UT menunjukan rata-rata keberhasilan responden menyelesaikan skenario dengan sempurna dengan nilai 91% untuk iterasi pertama dan 96% untuk iterasi kedua. Penting untuk dicatat bahwa persentase ini tidak dapat dibandingkan langsung karena skenario telah mengalami perubahan. Hasil tersebut juga didukung oleh nilai SUS sebelum dan sesudah perbaikan dari 52,42 menjadi 84,58 yang artinya terjadi peningkatan kualitas desain yang dapat diterima pengguna. Hasil akhir evaluasi kualitatif UT menunjukan bahwa mayoritas responden merasa lebih mudah memanfaatkan fitur-fitur yang ada dengan tampilan yang baru. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini mampu meningkatkan usability dari desain aplikasi dan dapat menjadi rekomendasi untuk perbaikan sekaligus sebagai landasan untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

This research is based on the user interface of the LMSKU application, a financial education platform that still has several usability issues. LMSKU is a learning management system (LMS) owned by a governmental institution, designed to provide financial education to the Indonesian public. Despite its significant capabilities, the platform faces various usability challenges. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the usability of LMSKU and provide interface improvement recommendations to enhance the application's usability. The research employs the user-centered design method with two iterations, each resulting in high-fidelity designs. Based on an online questionnaire (n = 65) and interviews, both online and offline (n = 19), 42 usability problem groups were identified and mapped according to Usability Heuristic principles. The first iteration's design solutions were evaluated through moderated usability testing (UT) and the online distribution of the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire, while the second iteration was evaluated solely through moderated usability testing (UT). The final quantitative evaluation of UT showed an average respondent success rate of 91% for the first iteration and 96% for the second iteration. It is important to note that these percentages cannot be directly compared due to changes in the scenarios. These results were also supported by the SUS scores, which increased from 52.42 to 84.58 before and after the improvements, indicating an improvement in user-acceptable design quality. The final qualitative evaluation of UT indicated that the majority of respondents found it easier to use the features with the new interface. Thus, this research successfully improved the application's usability and can serve as a recommendation for further improvements and as a foundation for future research."
