"Latar Belakang: Asam tioglikolat (TGA) yang digunakan sebagai bahan baku corrosion inhibitor dapat menghasilkan H2S (hidrogen sulfida) dan memajan kesehatan pekerja. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis tingkat risiko H2S dari TGA dalam produk CI beserta usulan pengendalian risiko di perusahaan. Metodologi: Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA) menurut DOSH versi 2018 pada dua unit kerja terpajan di PT. X, yaitu Unit kerja 1 (area produksi) dan Unit Kerja 2 (area warehouse). Hasil: Sesuai DOSH, tingkat risiko kesehatan gas H2S termasuk hazard rating (HR) = 5. Analisis exposure rating (ER) secara kualitatif menunjukkan ER area produksi (4) lebih tinggi dari ER di area warehouse (3) karena perbedaan frequency-duration rating (FDR) antar unit kerja. Dengan menghubungkan Magnitude rating (MR) saat aktivitas membuka tutup drum CI = 4, tingkat risiko kesehatan berada pada high risk level (RR = 20 Unit Kerja 1; RR = 15 Unit Kerja 2). Kesimpulan: Risiko kesehatan akibat pajanan H2S dari CI termasuk pada high risk level menurut CHRA DOSH dan langkah utama yang perlu dilakukan adalah subsitusi untuk menurunkan level risiko. Kesesuaian langkah pengendalian teknis, administratif, dan APD sangat penting saat TGA digunakan dalam produk corrosion inhibitor.

Background: Thioglycolic acid (TGA) is used as iron ion reduction in corrosion inhibitor which can produce H2S (hydrogen sulfide) and expose to human health. The purpose of this research is to analyze the risk level of H2S exposure from CI along with the proposed risk control in the company. Methodology: Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA) according to DOSH (2018) in two exposed work units in PT. X (Work Unit 1 as production area and Work Unit 2 as warehouse area). Result: According to DOSH, the hazard rating of H2S is 5. Qualitative exposure rating (ER) analysis shows the ER of the production area (4) is higher than ER in the warehouse area (3) due to the difference in frequency-duration rating (FDR). By considering the Magnitude rating (MR) during drums opening is 4, the level of health risk is at high risk level (RR Work Units 1 = 20; RR Work Units 2 = 15). Conclusion: H2S exposure from CI is at high risk level according to CHRA DOSH and the main required control is substitution to reduce the risk level. Adequacy of technical, administrative, and PPE control measures is critical when TGA is used in corrosion inhibitor."

"Laporan magang ini menganalisis pengendalian internal atas fungsi penagihan pada sebuah perusahaan penyedia alat dan jasa untuk industri migas. Analisis dibatasi pada pengendalian umum dan aplikasi. Selain itu, pembahasan difokuskan pada proses pembuatan tagihan untuk penjualan jasa. Analisis dilakukan dengan membandingkan praktik penagihan yang berjalan dengan SOP yang telah ditetapkan dan mengidentifikasi kelemahan pengendalian pada setiap tahap dalam proses pembuatan tagihan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, penulis memberikan usulan perbaikan SOP penagihan dalam bentuk narasi dan bagan alir untuk mengatasi kelemahan yang telah diidentifikasi.

This internship report analyses internal control over the billing function of a company supplying equipments and services for oil and gas industry. The analysis is limited to general and application controls. Moreover, the discussion is focused on the invoicing process for sales of services. Analysis is done by comparing the ongoing invoicing practice with the determined SOP and identifying control weaknesses in each step of the invoicing process. Based on the analysis, the writer gave an invoicing SOP recommendation in the form of narrative description and flowchart to correct the weaknesses identified."

"Gas – Oil separator is one of the main equipment in Gas Processing Facility. Gas – Oil Separator itself is a pressure vessel used for separating a well stream into gaseous phase and liquid phase. It is installed in the Gas Processing Facility as the first equipment where the production fluid flow through from wells and gathering pipeline. The separator will separate the fluid into gas, condensate, and water. So, the liquid and gas will fill the separator. Liquid volume and gas pressure has to be controlled to obtain a process safety. To prevent the risks, the safety instrumentation components is required to control a fluid so the risk would not be happened. For this case it needs a proper design of liquid control valve to obtain a process safety. Liquid Control Valve is used to control liquid level in the Separator to prevent high and low level liquid in the separator. To provide a reliable Liquid Control Valve we need to run a sizing calculation and design selection to determine the size and type of Liquid Control Valve that suits an operational condition. The Research resulted the size and type of Liquid Control Valve that should be fulfilled to install a capable and reliable Liquid Control Valve in Oil – Gas Separator system.

Gas – Oil Separator merupakan salah satu peralatan utama dalam Fasilitas Pemrosesan Gas Bumi. Gas – Oil Separator merupakan suatu bejana tekan yang berfungsi untuk memisahkan fluida dari sumur migas menjadi fasa gas dan fasa cair. Peralatan ini dipasang pada Fasilitas Pemrosesan Gas Bumi sebagai peralatan pertama yang dilalui oleh fluida produksi yang mengalir dari sumur migas dan jaringan pipa pengumpul. Separator akan memisahkan fluida produksi tersebut menjadi gas, kondensat, dan air. Dengan demikian, cairan dan gas akan memenuhi ruang separator. Volume cairan dan tekanan gas harus dapat dikendalikan untuk menjamin process safety. Untuk mencegah terjadinya risiko keselamatan, komponen instrumentasi keselamatan dibutuhkan untuk dapat mengendalikan fluida di dalam sistem, sehingga risiko tersebut dapat dicegah. Dalam hal ini, salah satunya diperlukan pemilihan desain dan ukuran yang sesuai dari sebuah liquid control valve untuk menjamin process safety. Liquid control valve digunakan untuk mengendalikan ketinggian cairan di dalam separator untuk mencegah fluida dapat mencapai batas ketinggian maksimum maupun minimum cairan di separator. Untuk menghasilkan sebuah liquid control valve yang handal, diperlukan perhitungan sizing dan pemilihan tipe desain yang sesuai dengan kondisi operasional yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perhitungan sizing dan pemilihan desain yang harus dipenuhi untuk mendapatkan sebuah liquid control valve yang tepat dan handal untuk dipasang pada Sistem Gas – Oil Separator."

"ABSTRAK
ANRI-Indoflesia Company has been facing a problem in selling natural gas to domestic
industry due to the Indonesia monetary crisis. ANRI has discovered big gas in several
contract areas in Indonesia under Pertamina concession. In addition, ANRI mission is
becoming leadership in gas producer in next years. Therefore, a management strategy has
to be formulated in order to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage and earnings
above average during the Asia economic turmoil condition.
Many customers have bought gas in US dollar contracts to ANRI but currency fluctuation
has hurt the customers earning. Furthermore, low purchasing power of people has
drastically decreased during crisis. Some firms therefore, such as PLN, have delayed in
payment to ANRI.
ANRI has worldwide reputation in upstream and downstream business, especially in
Indonesia that ANRI has only focussed in upstream business. Meanwhile, economic gas
reserve has been discovered in Irian Jaya, Bali and Java. In addition the ANRI has been
facing uncertainties gas market in both domestic and overseas during the crisis. Therefore
ANRI-Indonesia is interested for research study.
The research method of the thesis will use two types of research sources:
1. Primary data
Data were collected by survey using a questionnaire form for human resource,
SPACE matrix, Internal-External matrix and QSPM.
2. Secondary data
Data were gathered using internal and external data.
The data, consists of general environment, industry environment, competitive
environment and internal analysis, is formulated with applying SWOT, SPACE, Grand
Strategy and Internal External Matrices. Finally, recommendation for the ANRI strategic
management during crisis is divided into three, short-term, medium-term and long term.
Short-term strategic management is prioritized on Market Penetration, Market
Development, Backward Integration, Retrenchment, 1-lorizontal Integration and
Suspended gas development.
Medium-term strategic management is focused on vertical chain alliances in downstream
business, Divestiture, Liquidation and Forward Integration.
Long-term strategic management is established on searching new fields.
A research weakness of the thesis is not provided equivalence number of energy demand
in domestic and overseas. Therefore gas demand in market will not exactly be known
how much of domestic and overseas need.
Future studies are suggested to research how much gas demand in domestic and overseas
market. Then gas development can be accurately predicted in future, in addition gas price
can be negotiated in right profit for sustainable of the business.
